At 6 a.m., Kibishi woke up and immediately began his daily two-hour meditation. Hanabi, waking up a bit later, smiled as she watched her son sit in complete silence, focused and calm.
His chakra reserves are nearly the same as a peak Chuunin's, she thought, marveling at his progress. Considering his age, this is extraordinary. When I was his age, I barely had the reserves of a mid-Chuunin. Kazuchi, our son is truly a genius.
She quietly left the room, heading to the bathroom for her morning routine before joining her mother, Kirina, in the kitchen.
"Mom, you're up early. Has Father already gone to work?" Hanabi asked, noticing the absence of her father, Bishiro.
Kirina glanced at her daughter with a soft smile. "Yes, dear. Someone from the ANBU came early this morning looking for him. They needed him for a council meeting."
Hanabi's expression darkened slightly. "It's about the Uchiha, isn't it?"
Kirina sighed as she cracked some eggs. "Unfortunately, yes. Tensions are growing, but don't worry too much. A civil war won't happen." She was trying to comfort Hanabi, knowing how close she had been to Mikoto Uchiha, the wife of Fugaku Uchiha and Kazuchi's sister—her sister-in-law.
Hanabi appreciated her mother's efforts to reassure her and decided to change the topic. "Kibishi is meditating right now," she said with pride. "He told me last night that he does two hours of meditation before bed and two hours after waking up."
Kirina beamed. "He's truly an exceptional child. Unlike someone I know who, at the age of five, was still drinking milk," she teased, playfully glancing at Hanabi.
"MOM!" Hanabi protested, her face flushing with embarrassment. "What if Kibishi hears you?"
Kirina chuckled, enjoying the lighthearted moment with her daughter.
An hour later, Kibishi finished his meditation and headed to the bathroom. Once clean and dressed, he joined his mother and grandmother, who were setting the table for breakfast. The spread was simple yet hearty: eggs, sausages, and mushroom soup.
"Good morning, Mom and Grandma," Kibishi greeted, wrapping his small arms around them in a warm hug.
"Good morning, my dear," Hanabi and Kirina replied, affectionately ruffling his hair.
As they sat down to eat, Hanabi asked, "What do you have planned for training today, Kibishi?"
"I'm going to practice tree climbing, Mom. After that, I'll work on water walking and then shurikenjutsu. But first, I'll focus on mastering tree and water walking. Once I have those down, I'll move on to light exercises and shurikenjutsu." Kibishi spoke with a mix of childish excitement and a surprisingly mature determination.
Hanabi and Kirina exchanged impressed glances. He not only has talent but also an incredible level of maturity for his age, they both thought.
"So, your schedule is meditation, light exercise, breakfast, and then shurikenjutsu," Hanabi clarified. "You'll repeat the cycle after lunch and dinner, with two hours of meditation before bed?"
Kibishi nodded, confirming his routine.
Kirina smiled warmly. "Kibishi, just make sure not to push yourself too hard. It's important to find time to play and be a child. Once you become a ninja, life will change."
Hanabi added, "Listen to your grandma, Kibishi. Childhood is fleeting. Make friends and forge bonds. After lunch, we'll go to the park, and you can meet other kids."
Kibishi knew there was truth in their words. "Alright," he agreed. Mother is right. I should start building connections with the main characters now, so even if I graduate early, they'll remember me.
With that, they walked outside to the backyard, where a tall tree stood. Hanabi stood beside him, ready to observe his training. "Do you know what tree climbing is, Kibishi?" she asked.
"Tree climbing is a chakra control exercise," Kibishi explained. "By focusing chakra into the feet, a shinobi can adhere to tree trunks and walk up them. It's a method to improve balance, precision, and overall chakra control."
Hanabi blinked in surprise. "You've been reading about it, haven't you?"
Kibishi closed his book and grinned. "I wanted to be prepared."
He formed the ram seal, feeling the flow of chakra concentrating in his feet. With calm steps, he approached the tree. Slow and steady, he reminded himself. Once I get used to the sensation, I'll increase my speed.
"Good, Kibishi," Hanabi called out, impressed. "Take it slow and memorize how it feels. Soon you won't need the hand seal."
Step by step, Kibishi ascended the tree. His movements were cautious but deliberate, every step sending a ripple of chakra through his feet. This isn't as hard as I thought, he mused. I wonder if there are shinobi who are afraid of heights.
In a matter of minutes, Kibishi reached the top of the tree, balancing effortlessly on a branch. He hung upside down for a moment, marveling at how natural it felt. Then, with equal caution, he descended.
"Excellent work, Kibishi!" Hanabi exclaimed, rushing over to hug him. "You did it on your first try. Now, let's see if you can do it faster."
Kibishi nodded and repeated the exercise, this time moving with more speed and confidence. By lunchtime, he had successfully mastered the technique, walking up and down the tree without needing the ram seal.
After lunch, Kibishi changed into a blue shirt adorned with the Uchiha crest on his back, along with matching blue shorts and sandals. His hair, styled similarly to a young Kakashi, completed the look.
"Remember, Kibishi, you're part of the Uchiha clan too," Hanabi had told him earlier. "This shirt was a gift from your aunt Mikoto and uncle Fugaku."
"Mom, Kibishi and I are going to the park to help him make some friends," Hanabi announced as they prepared to leave the house.
Kirina nodded. "Be sure to return in time for dinner."
As they walked, Kibishi noticed familiar landmarks—the Dokuyaiba Headquarters and Konoha's famous hospital. After twenty minutes, they arrived at the park, a peaceful area surrounded by greenery and dotted with vibrant flowers. A serene pond shimmered in the sunlight, adding to the tranquility of the scene.
Hanabi nudged Kibishi. "Do you see those kids over there? They're from some of the notable clans. Why don't you go play with them?"
Kibishi's eyes widened. Choji, Shikamaru, Kiba, Shino... and even Naruto! This is perfect timing.
The kids were playing tag, and Naruto had just finished catching the others. As Kibishi approached, Naruto spotted him and waved enthusiastically. "Hey, Kibishi! Come over here!"
The other four kids turned to see who Naruto was calling, curious about the newcomer.
"Hello, Naruto," Kibishi said as he jogged over. "I didn't expect to see you here."
"We're playing tag! Wanna join?" Naruto offered with a grin. Meanwhile, the other kids began whispering amongst themselves, trying to figure out who Kibishi was.
"Who is he?" Choji asked first, glancing at Naruto.
Naruto shrugged. "I dunno, but let's introduce ourselves!"
Naruto went first, puffing out his chest. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki, the future Hokage!"
"In your dreams, Naruto," Kiba said with a playful smirk. "I'm Kiba Inuzuka, from the Inuzuka clan." The two boys exchanged glares, a rivalry already forming between them.
Just like in the anime, Kibishi thought with amusement.
"I'm Shino from the Aburame clan," Shino introduced himself quietly, his demeanor reserved.
His atmosphere is so forgettable, Kibishi mused with a chuckle.
Next, Choji spoke up, munching on a bag of chips. "I'm Choji Akimichi, from the Akimichi clan."
Where did he even get those chips? Kibishi wondered, suppressing a laugh.
Choji nudged Shikamaru, who sighed heavily. "Mendokusai... I'm Shikamaru Nara," he muttered, clearly unenthused.
He's so lazy, even when it comes to talking, Kibishi thought, amused.
Finally, it was Kibishi's turn. "I'm Kibishi Senju, from the Senju clan."
All four boys stared at him in shock, their mouths hanging open. Naruto, oblivious as usual, looked between them, confused. "What's the big deal?"
"Don't you know who the Senju are?" Kiba asked incredulously. "They're the same clan as the First and Second Hokage!"
Naruto tilted his head, puzzled. "Are there more Hokage besides the Hokage?"
Kibishi burst into laughter, the sound loud and hearty. Naruto's confusion only deepened, while the other boys could only sigh.
