She realized, after a whole month, that cloud watching soothed her. The depressing urges disappear when this mundane activity was in play.
The other reason why she didn't travel via trees was simply due to her clumsiness. She wouldn't be able to keep her balance whilst cloud watching.
"Look, boys. A beautiful traveler. And no forehead protector - ain't a kunoichi!" A shrilly male's voice spoke as a group of bandits moved to surround Akari in a circle, far enough to keep out of reach, but close enough to intimidate.
Oh great. She reluctantly tore her sights away from the fluffy clouds and stared impassively at the man who spoke. She waited with bated breath, expecting to feel some sort of denial and/or distress since, on the inside, she was still a civilian woman who only killed an ant.
Nothing of that sort happened, even as her eyes took in all the crude looking men.
She felt no fear.
Only anticipation.
Fuck.
She bowed her head.
"What's this? Scared? Hahahaha! Let's have fun guys, don't worry we'll be gentle" The same person crooned as the men laughed and leered.
... Rapist. Filth, the whole lot of them.
As she wasn't in the right mind to pay attention to her surroundings, she didn't realize that one of them had gotten close. As soon as she felt a hand touch her forearm, she lashed out.
She didn't realize that her soft features had twisted into cold.
Her body moved with muscle memory alone, reaching into her inventory seal and smoothly sliding out a katana that was known to be the best in the game (a present from shishou). It danced through the air and beheaded the bandits within seconds. There was no epic Ninjutsu or fancy moves. Just pure and lethal Kenjutsu.
The 'fight' (if it could be called that) ended within moments of her pulling out her blade.
And then her breath started to hitch, the smell of blood makes her nauseous.
She left the place.
. . . . .
It has been three weeks since her 'first kill'.
And she didn't feel anything about it, she just shrugged it like nothing.
Now she was jumping in tree's to go to Konoha...
Then she heard and explosion, she halt and curiously leaped where the explosion came from.
Arriving there she saw the familiar figure, looking intently its the Fourth Hokage fighting someone, it was a fierce fight resulting Minato's win, but he past out due to chakra exhaustion.
Arriving at the scene she princess carry Minato while finding a shelter to heal him. She found an empty cave and healed him there.
After few days, he finally wake up. His hand automatically slid to his thigh, she straightened up with a frown etched on her beautiful face. "Really? Trying to reach for a kunai to assault the one who saved you?" she said with amusement.
