Chapter 75 - End of an Era

As soon as Kagami and Mira's feet touched the dirt at the bottom, both kicked forward without a moment's hesitation. Flying into the cave, Kagami kicked open the door and saw they were interrupting a meeting. Right before he watched Obito begin to vanish into a swirl, however, he already had a plan for that.

Unrolling his large scroll, Kagami slammed his hand on the center of a complex pattern and watched as Obito was flung back into a wall. For he had locked down the space making Obito unable to phase in and out of his dimension. However, it also blocked his Flying Thunder God and the ability to summon beasts.

It was also at this moment, Mira locked onto her target and leaped forward and slammed a seal Kagami designed onto Black Zetsu. Which made the dark glob shiver as he tried to sink into the ground. Only to find himself paralyzed and ripped from the ground by Mira.

"You dare to challenge God." Nagato roared.

"You're no god." Kagami snorted as he slammed his hands together.

In an instant many stone spikes shot forth from the ground attempting to impale Nagato who just pushed his hands out. In an instant the room expanded greatly as Kagami alongside everyone else flung back.

"You will know Pain!"

Throwing a senbon as he was thrown back, Kagami aimed for Nagato's eyes which widened as he tried to close his eyes. Sadly for him, he only managed to close one eye in time as his left eye was pierced.

"Ahh!" Nagato clenched his eyes.

However, Kagami moved as wooden spikes shot from behind him as paper bombs came from the front. Resulting in a large explosion while six corpses filled with black rods encased around him.

"You will pay for hurting God!" One of the puppets said.

"If you say so?" Kagami smiled as he slammed his hands together once more.

Then a few wooden clones appeared beside him and went on the offensive. Pushing back the puppets while Kagami went on to face an enraged Obito and Konan. While a wooden clone went to deal with Nagato. Who was beginning to panic as he saw one of the wooden clones rushing towards him, but he was also trying to deal with the clones with the puppet corpses he had at the same time.

"Nagato!" Konan rushed towards her friend.

However, how can Kagami allow such a thing and appeared beside her and slapped a chakra seal on her. A seal similar to the one they use on ninja prisoners. Which made her scream in pain as she tried to turn into paper.

"You ruined my plan." Obito screamed in anger.

Nagato has just lost the Rinnegan as a Kagami wooden clone gorged them out. However, Kagami didn't care for his shout as he raised his arm and blocked Obito's crazy strike. Before grabbing Obito leg and spun slamming the man into the ground.

Then in a stomp, many wooden spikes shot up to pierce Obito's body. However it wasn't meant to be as Obito managed to roll enough so the spikes only pierce his arm and gazed at his torso. Which healed as smoke displayed unmarked skin.

"You are much better than last time." Obito said with venom lacing each word.

"You're going to make me blush." Kagami said with a smile.

"Which is a shame as I haven't planned to release these guys yet. However, if I can destroy you, it will be worth it." Obito crackled. "Now behold my army of twenty thousand White Zetsu."

Kagami blinked as golden light engulfed his body as black markings coated his body as he drew out his sword. Which made Asura inside him cheer as Kagami blitzed and reappeared next to Obito and attempted to sever his head from his body. Only Obito nearly dodge with a large gash appearing on his face as his mask shattered.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

In quick bouts of taijutsu Kagami basically began to overwhelm Obito. Who was trying his best to stay alive as his body worked overtime to block or heal the wounds Kagami was giving. Which means he wasn't faring well for every wound he healed, four more appeared.

Then Kagami thrusted forward with his sword impaling Obito through the heart. Before pulling up, splitting Obito's chest open as blood gushed out. Though what amazed Kagami was how Obito's body attempted to heal. He wouldn't leave a slightest chance and cut off Obito's head.

'Without his ability to phase through attacks, Obito strength was lower then I thought.' Kagami thought as he looked around to see Nagato dying and Konan crying in pain.

However, what made him smile was the sphere covered in fuinjutsu between Mira's hands. Showing that Black Zetsu was captured and sealed. Which also means their goals were complete and Black Zetsu's future plans are no more.

"Well, now what?" Mira asked, looking around.

Besides a few cuts on her clothing from Nagato almighty push. She didn't beat up, much like himself truth be told. Which amazed Kagami slightly as he expected both Obito and Nagato to be stronger. In the series they put nearly everyone through the ringer to beat. Yet, he managed to dismantle them, though he did target their weak points or remove their best trump cards.

"Clean up and seal this black glob so it can never break free or be unsealed." Kagami answered. "As for these two, well lets just take them back with us for the time being. They should be the head of the Akatsuki."

"Ok." Mira nodded.

A day later, Kagami stood atop of Hokage Rock and stared out over the village with his arms crossed. He had just finished sealing up Black Zetsu in his laboratory until he had the rocket built that would launch the black blob into the sun.

Down below as Kagami looked upon the village he cares greatly for, he could see the village busy with activity. He turned his head, where he saw a blonde child in an orange jumpsuit. The boy had rope tied around his waist and a bucket of paint in his hands.

"What do you think you're doing, Naruto?" Kagami asked.
