CHAPTER 4: A WISH AND QUESTION

"So what type of wish can you grant me?" Adi asked, now interested.

"I am not granting your wish, THE CREATOR is going to grant it, I am merely the medium," Alpha replied.

"What level of wishes can be granted, and are they applicable outside the game world?" Adi asked.

"Wishes below the creator level can be granted, and only the winner's wish can be granted. Everyone else's wishes are eliminated after the game," the being replied.

"I have to ask for a wish below the creator level. Hmm, what can I ask for? Can you provide me with a suggestion? After all, you have lived longer than me," Adi asked.

"I can't suggest anything, as it will make the game unfair for lower-tier beings like me. Higher-tier beings with more profound knowledge will give their beings a direct advantage, and we can't interfere in any way to make the game fair," Alpha replied.

"I understand. So how can the creator grant my wish?" Adi asked.

"You have to say, 'My creator, I require this wish from you,' while touching the ball I give you. Then your wish will be granted, but remember it cannot be greater than the creator level," Alpha replied in a strict tone.

"There might be punishment for going overboard, so let's hope I will not be punished for the wish I am going to make. Please give me the ball," Adi asked. Alpha gave the wish ball to him.

The wish ball looked like an ordinary glass with diamond dust on its surface. "Not so fancy, huh?" Adi thought.

"Well, I guess gods are not that showy." He started the process of making his wish. "I, Adi Devansh, would like to say to my creator: untangle me from the threads of fate and make me destiny-less, so that I can never be tied to anything or anyone, and all my results should belong to my actions."

Just after speaking this, the wish ball started to glow, covering the entire abode of Alpha, and it brightened like a thousand suns rising together. Nothing was seen, and after a moment, the glow disappeared, and everything was calm again.

Suddenly, Adi felt like some type of shackles were removed from him, and now he could feel that something heavy had fallen off him. He felt this is exactly what his soul needed, and he finally got it. This feeling was priceless to him, and to keep him in this state, he would like to die a thousand times. Suddenly it seemed like time had stopped, and a heavenly voice rang in his mind: "You are fateless until the end of the game."

When the voice faded, Adi woke from his stupor. "This is the most incredible voice I have heard since my creation. It felt like listening to this voice solved all my problems, and there seems to be no greater joy than listening to it," he thought.

"You are insane!" Alpha's voice suddenly rang in Adi's mind, clearly frightened as well as excited.

"Do you know what you have asked for? Only beings with strength rivalling that of superclusters (a group of 500,000 galaxies or more) can have the title of fateless, and it is a major requirement for creating your universe."

" Every living being in this universe is a soul part of the creator, and since we are all soul parts of the creator, we all have the potential to reach the creator's level."

"But why is it that some creatures are more talented than their counterparts? It's because we are bound by fates, and only when a creature reaches the supercluster level of strength, can it develop its real ego, different from the creator's ego, and only then can it truly start resisting the control of the creator. Otherwise, we are all puppets of the creator, to do as he wills as we are a part of him," the Alpha continued with his explanation, clearly expatiated.

The Alpha took some time to calm his overgrown emotions and he waited to make him understand the gravity of situation and after a while he continued with calmness in his voice.

"You have asked for one of the top wishes without anyone's help, and it will immensely help you. If you win the competition, you might very well try to become your own creator," the Alpha replied, clearly satisfied with his luck to have found this human as this wish has immensely boosted his chances of winning.

"So can anyone else know the wish I am making other than you?" Adi asked, not wanting to continue this topic.

"No, only we can know, and also, no one can ask for a player's wish until they have a strength above the strength level of the creator. Also, we participants cannot mention this to another, so your secret is safe with me," the Alpha replied.

"Now for the question, since you have such good decisions, then this decision should also be yours. You are free to ask anything," the Alpha replied while smiling ear to ear.

"Then I WOULD LIKE TO ASK FOR KNOWLEDGE OF ALL VEDAS AND AWAKENING OF ALL YOGIC SHAKTI (chakras as terms in Hindu mythology)," Adi asked.

He was a fan of his own culture, whether it is related to the Astras to the various deeds in the field of astronomy or to the power wielding in the form of chakras. It mesmerized him, and since gods are real, then Hindu gods should be real too, which means that he can get this knowledge, and sometimes KNOWLEDGE is more important than STRENGTH.

"You know boy, you are astonishing me again and again. The knowledge you are asking me is one of the top knowledge of this entire Universe. The pantheon group, which you are asking knowledge from are one of the most powerful in this universe other than the creator, (the Hindu pantheon). While the other pantheons focus more on body needs, the Hindu pantheon focuses more on soul and will. The leaders of the Hindu pantheon are one of the top beings, and they are in the process of detaching themselves from this Universe," Alpha said with an amazing voice.

"Also, there are also many similar pantheons, and sadly for you, I am a lone traveller, so I couldn't give you more information about the Vedas. But I can give you information about all chakras and their awakening processes since they are the guide for a creature to start feeling and manipulating universal energy. And I am a star-leveled being, so it is basic for me. And I can also impart you only all the text information about the Vedas, not any understanding about Vedas. Since I can't understand the Vedas and also I have avoided it and not given my time to understand it. But you can try to understand it. Also try to make full use of this opportunity."

"Since I cannot understand the Vedas, and have been avoiding them, I have not given myself a chance to comprehend them. However, you can try to understand them, but be careful. Only the Purush and Tridevs are beings who fully understand the Vedas and beyond, so proceed with caution," Alpha replied in a serious tone.

"Well, that's a lot to take in. To think that our religion is the top of this universe and our gods are this powerful - nothing less expected of them. But now I have everything I need. I am finally free, and to protect this freedom, I also have a way to reach a level of strength that can maintain it," Adi said.

"The information in your soul is enough for everything, as long as you are able to understand it. However, you are severely lacking in intuition and reflex actions. I will start training you in this area in the next 20 solar hours. As I can train your reflexes and instincts that is not possible in mortal world."

"Possess this puppet so we can begin training, and try to remember the energy around me as much as possible, as it is universal energy that you will require in your journey ahead."

And so, the last physical training for our protagonist in the divine realm started, Adi, had begun. He had asked for something that he had not realized the potential of, and only time would tell whether he could achieve his full potential. He may not have realized it yet, but he had asked for something that only a select few beings have, and it could help him on his journey to find his eternal pursuit. On Earth, his eyes looked full of void and listlessness, but can he find his objective? Also, do you remember that Adi really makes the most of any situation? This trait helped him earn the title of genius at home, and now he is making the most of every opportunity. Is this ability inferior to that of geniuses like Newton or Einstein? I really don't know.
