"Sasuke-kun, what do you mean by that?" Orochimaru asked warily. He hadn't expected Sasuke to bring up immortality. He had thought Sasuke was only interested in women.

"It's exactly as I said. Aren't you always in pursuit of eternal life?" Sasuke replied calmly. "You even created the Reincarnation Jutsu for this purpose, aiming to achieve immortality by continuously transferring your soul."

Sasuke continued, "Isn't this your lifelong pursuit?" he asked with a smile.

Everyone knew that Orochimaru's obsession with eternal life was unparalleled in the entire ninja world—even more so than Onoki or Hiruzen Sarutobi.

"Sasuke-kun, are you suggesting that you know the secret to eternal life?" Orochimaru asked suspiciously. While he acknowledged Sasuke's talent, he still had confidence in his own path to immortality. He couldn't believe that Sasuke could surpass him in this regard.

"Alright, Sasuke-kun, I'll be waiting to see your results," Orochimaru said. With that, he turned around and left with Kabuto.

However, Sasuke then turned to look at Guren, who was still standing there. Smiling, he softly asked, "What's this? Are you planning to spend the night here?"

Sasuke intended to tease Guren with a joke, but her response took him by surprise. Guren raised her head slightly, with a mix of teasing and shyness in her eyes, and softly replied, "Yes, unless I'm not welcome?"

Guren's face turned slightly red. She bit her lip and replied firmly, "Stop talking nonsense. I'm staying here tonight!"

Her tone was resolute, as if she had made up her mind. Guren tried to hide her shyness by speaking loudly, but Sasuke still noticed her nervousness.

Sasuke smiled and teased back, "I don't know who was insisting on continuing, even out of breath."

His eyes then focused on Guren's red lips, causing her to feel embarrassed again. But this time, she decided to take the initiative. Guren leaned in and launched a bold move against Sasuke.

Though Sasuke was initially caught off guard, he quickly regained control with his skillful techniques. The two continued their playful exchange, with Guren not holding back.

Sasuke chuckled and said, "Alright, after I finish treating you, we'll go have breakfast together."

"After that, I need to start my research."

"I understand," Guren replied with a smile.

After they finished eating, Sasuke headed to Orochimaru's lab alone.
