"Sasuke-kun, what do you mean by that?" Orochimaru asked warily. He hadn't expected Sasuke to bring up immortality. He had thought Sasuke was only interested in women.
"It's exactly as I said. Aren't you always in pursuit of eternal life?" Sasuke replied calmly. "You even created the Reincarnation Jutsu for this purpose, aiming to achieve immortality by continuously transferring your soul."
Sasuke continued, "Isn't this your lifelong pursuit?" he asked with a smile.
Everyone knew that Orochimaru's obsession with eternal life was unparalleled in the entire ninja world—even more so than Onoki or Hiruzen Sarutobi.
"Sasuke-kun, are you suggesting that you know the secret to eternal life?" Orochimaru asked suspiciously. While he acknowledged Sasuke's talent, he still had confidence in his own path to immortality. He couldn't believe that Sasuke could surpass him in this regard.
"Indeed, my current research may not be as advanced as yours," Sasuke admitted. "But if you give me time, I can uncover the secret to eternal life," he said confidently.
Orochimaru looked at Sasuke, surprised by his conviction. He didn't know where Sasuke's confidence came from, but he decided to keep an eye on him.
"Alright, Sasuke-kun, I'll be waiting to see your results," Orochimaru said. With that, he turned around and left with Kabuto.
As Orochimaru walked away, Sasuke smiled slightly. He knew he had piqued Orochimaru's interest, and the next step was to prove himself by showcasing his strength.
However, Sasuke then turned to look at Guren, who was still standing there. Smiling, he softly asked, "What's this? Are you planning to spend the night here?"
Sasuke intended to tease Guren with a joke, but her response took him by surprise. Guren raised her head slightly, with a mix of teasing and shyness in her eyes, and softly replied, "Yes, unless I'm not welcome?"
Her voice was as gentle as a spring breeze, stirring something deep within Sasuke. Looking at Guren's alabaster neck, an impulse surged within him.
"Welcome? Of course, you're welcome," Sasuke quickly responded with a gentle smile. However, he was still curious about Guren's true intentions. He knew she wasn't a casual woman, and her decision to stay must have deeper meaning.
So he asked seriously, "But are you sure you really want to stay?"
Though the question seemed simple, it carried deep meaning. What he really wanted to know was if Guren truly intended to spend the night with him.
Guren's face turned slightly red. She bit her lip and replied firmly, "Stop talking nonsense. I'm staying here tonight!"
Her tone was resolute, as if she had made up her mind. Guren tried to hide her shyness by speaking loudly, but Sasuke still noticed her nervousness.
Seeing this, Sasuke felt a warm emotion stirring in his heart. He understood Guren's thoughts and felt her trust and reliance on him. He approached her with a smile, and Guren slowly closed her eyes, anticipating his next move.
What followed was an intense and passionate moment. As Guren was inexperienced, Sasuke took the lead, guiding her gently. Soon, Guren was breathless, and Sasuke quickly let her go.
Guren took a deep breath, blushing as she playfully scolded, "You bad guy, you almost suffocated me."
Sasuke smiled and teased back, "I don't know who was insisting on continuing, even out of breath."
His eyes then focused on Guren's red lips, causing her to feel embarrassed again. But this time, she decided to take the initiative. Guren leaned in and launched a bold move against Sasuke.
Though Sasuke was initially caught off guard, he quickly regained control with his skillful techniques. The two continued their playful exchange, with Guren not holding back.
In this way, their connection deepened as they shared this intimate time together, their hearts growing closer as if they had become one. They expressed their deep feelings for each other, making the most of this precious moment.
The next morning, sunlight streamed through the windows, casting a peaceful glow over the room. Sasuke stretched his body and turned to look at Guren beside him. She looked tired, her eyes half-closed, still lost in sleep.
Sasuke couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and relief. He was grateful for his strong physical stamina, which allowed him to endure such intense "combat." However, he knew that for Guren, this had been an unprecedented challenge. This was her first experience, and the pressure had been immense. Even someone like Tsunade might struggle with such intensity.
Seeing Guren's exhaustion, Sasuke felt a pang of concern and decided to help her recover. He used the medical ninjutsu he had learned from Tsunade, hoping to restore Guren's strength as quickly as possible. If he didn't treat her in time, she might not be able to get out of bed for the entire day.
As Sasuke concentrated on healing her, Guren gradually woke up. She slowly opened her eyes and saw Sasuke treating her with such care. A wave of shyness washed over her, making her too embarrassed to look directly at him. But the blush on her cheeks revealed that she was fully aware of the situation.
Noticing Guren's reaction, Sasuke smiled warmly and teased her, "Since you're awake, stop pretending to be asleep! If you don't get up soon, I might just keep 'working'!"
Hearing this, Guren stopped pretending. She opened her eyes and said shyly, "Can't you let me rest a little longer?"
Despite her complaint, her expression was full of playful ambiguity, making it clear that she was speaking in double entendre.
Sasuke chuckled and said, "Alright, after I finish treating you, we'll go have breakfast together."
"After that, I need to start my research."
"I understand," Guren replied with a smile.
After they finished eating, Sasuke headed to Orochimaru's lab alone.
