Promotion to chūnin
Meanwhile in the VIP room,
Hizuren is about to stand up shell shocked seeing the blue ball of chakra in Hiroto's hand, he composed himself quickly and sat down before anyone could notice but all of his former teammates stood up in shock and Danzo started sweating.
"Hizuren how could you give him that jutsu?" Danzo asked with an accusatory tone.
"I didn't give it to him" Hizuren answered his friend.
"The only known user of Rasengan isn't in the village for nearly half a decade so forgive me for asking this Hizuren, if you didn't how did he get his hands on an A-rank jutsu?" Homura asked his former teammate as he knew they confiscated everything from Minato's house after his death.
Hizuren thought for a few moments and replied "There is one possibility 'Kakashi', you know his other moniker the Copy ninja so there is a chance he knows that jutsu" everyone's eyes are directed at Kakashi standing in the audience and Danzo's eyes are filled with hate at the prospect the Uchiha clan can get their hands on Rasengan which is incomplete but is still an A-rank jutsu, he couldn't even dare to imagine how destructive it will be if it's complete so made up his mind to get his hands on that jutsu and started planning.
A few moments later, Hizuren took the stage amid the cheers of the crowd and started his speech "A new batch of genin raised up and proved their will to protect their village and their homes, even though I admire their will and persistence, I wish for them to lead a better life and not throw away their lives in the hands of the enemy, so keeping that also in view only a few made it clear to us that their will is stronger and can take on more responsibilities to protect their village, their loved ones. The genins who lost today and in the previous rounds don't lose your hope this loss should add fuel to the fire and your will of fire should burn stronger, brighter" he ended the speech with a grandfatherly smile.
"Now the genins who are promoted to chūnin are Uchiha Itachi, Uzumaki Hiroto, and Mitarashi Anko" he said pausing at each name for a few seconds to rile up the crowd.
Hizuren then went to Yūgao and said "You are also very good but I have another proposition for you, come meet me tomorrow morning in my office" he told the last part in a low voice so that only she could hear it. The third Hokage similarly went to each and every genin giving a few words of encouragement.
Hiroto, Itachi, and Anko had a small meeting with the Professor in a private room and got the chūnin jacket, rule book, and other things that a new chūnin gets. "You are one step closer to your goals, so work hard and make your loved ones proud" he said and let them leave.
The former Team 3 members left the stadium to see the Uchiha patriarch's family, Naruto, Shisui, Kakashi, Gai, and their sensei waiting for them.
"My youthful students you splendidly displayed YOUTH" you know who congratulated them in his own way as he helped them in taijutsu.
Itachi is surrounded by his family and Shisui, Hiroto is embraced by Naruto while Kakashi stood by his side, Shikaku and Gai patted Anko's shoulder and congratulated her, and soon everyone moved to congratulate the other two.
"Since all of you have now graduated Team 3 will be no more, even if I am not your sensei anymore you will always remain my students. I'm proud of you" Shikaku said.
"You'll always be our sensei" all the newly promoted chūnin said and embraced Shikaku.
"Let's go to Ichiraku's, my treat" said Kakashi, everyone accepted and slowly made their way to the restaurant.
Naruto is holding his elder brother's hands while Sasuke is doing the same with Itachi. "Hiroto-nii I will beat you up and become the Hokage" Naruto said as he made becoming Hokage as his goal once he saw how everyone in the village respected that position.
"Nii-san I will beat you when I grow up" Sasuke said to Itachi.
"You brats need to defeat me first" Anko said pulling both their cheeks. Naruto struggled hard and escaped from her hands, "I will defeat you Anko-nee" he challenged. Sasuke nodded and did the same challenge pose as Naruto, not knowing how their future selves will curse themselves for their stupidity. Anko seeing their cute challenges pulled their cheeks again.
Teuchi on seeing Kakashi gave a stink eye as he lured his daughter away from him, while Ayame rushed forward to see the jonin, she froze in her tracks seeing all the others and greeted everyone.
Teuchi and Ayame congratulated the newly promoted chūnin as they heard the outcome of the chūnin competition from the passersby. Kakashi seeing Ayame gave a smile to her and acted normally "First round is on the house" Teuchi offered them and Ayame served the dishes, she too joined them later and stayed by Kakashi's side. Mikoto had an ambiguous smile on her face while Teuchi is taking out his anger using the cutting(chopping) board seeing Kakashi and Ayame close.
Slowly everyone took their leaves and parted ways going to their respective homes, Hiroto accompanied Naruto with Kakashi to the orphanage 'A few years at the latest Naruto, soon you can stay with me' Hiroto thought and left in the direction of his home. Hiroto then used body flicker jutsu and rushed home, he closed the door shut and made his way to the basement of the house. Hiroto went toward a bookcase and pulled out a book that was etched between two books having Uzumaki and Namikaze clan symbols on their spines. {Refer to Chapter 7}.
He dropped his blood and soon the bookcase infront of him moved to reveal a room his heart is palpitating. Hiroto stepped in two sets of large scrolls, he went toward the newer-looking one.
Hiroto opened the scroll to see a letter inside with familiar handwriting which he didn't see for a few years.
