Fighting Raikage

Hiroto and Itachi watched on as the Raikage looked nonchalant about it, but if it is Hizuren there he could notice the Raikage's shock just for a moment which didn't last even for the blink of an eye.

Raikage stood tall as the kage of a village should be when unexpected things are furled at you because he knew him taking a step back meant the village will also take a step back. "Good, it seems Konoha still has good seeds. Uzumaki Hiroto and Uchiha Itachi, I hope you live up to your hype" Raikage said.

Raikage slowly stepped toward the Konoha chūnin without any fear, Hiroto gave a nod of acknowledgment to Kakashi and both of them started running toward the Raikage slowly increasing their face. Itachi started off the attack with a fireball jutsu while the other party faced it head-on without any problem. Hiroto followed the attack with a wind slash. The Raikage faced it with a small armor plate on his hand and nullified it. Seeing the Raikage staying strong Itachi muttered "It seems the words about the Raikage's strong body are not without reason". Hiroto nodded to it.

"Brats stop this nonsense and get serious" Raikage shouted at them and dashed.

Itachi seeing the taijutsu attack from the Kumo kage knew he stands no chance if he faced it head on so he disappeared with crow clones as soon as the attack landed on him. Hiroto wanted to test his taijutsu against one of the best there is so he decided to counter the attack keeping a jutsu ready to use just in case. Hiroto stopped the attack with both of his hands and both of them engaged in a taijutsu spar, as time passed on it's getting harder for Hiroto to defend so seeing no other way he used 'Armor skin' jutsu which he learned from his summons turning his skin hard like a crocodile's with small scales protruding from him.

Raikage noticed the change in Hiroto and being the battle junkie he increased the force of his attacks, Hiroto is slowly taking damage. Itachi who noticed this dashed at the Raikage with a sword, Raikage had to take a step back to defend himself.

Hiroto took a breather, he now looked at the fight to see the Raikage dealing the sword attacks on him with metal wrapped around his wrist. Hiroto also saw how the Raikage is only defending against Itachi hoping to use the Uchiha's anger to his advantage and get an upper hand in the fight. Itachi also noticed this so he is only probing for any openings in the fight.

This charade went on for a few minutes, and Raikage switched to offense seeing that his plan failed. Hiroto saw the gears of the fight had been shifted so he took his sword out and joined the battle giving a breather to his best friend, only the sounds of metal and sparks are the only noise in the fight.

Raikage content with this gave a push to the chūnin and pulled back. "It has been a while since I have seen that sword in a fight. Brat if I hear you are not worthy to hold that sword, I will kill you and put it in the hands of a capable Kumo shinobi" he said with a smile.

Hiroto hearing this held the sword tightly, with a small grateful smile "You don't have to worry Raikage-san, if I felt that myself I would give up my career as shinobi".

This statement came as a shock to many while Itachi and Kakashi looked at him proudly at his determination as they already knew the story of that sword.

"Good" Raikage said and sent a lightning bullet towards them. Itachi used body flicker jutsu to escape from it while Hiroto covered the blade with wind chakra and neutralized the attack.

Itachi made a few shadow clones, Hiroto did the same, and both their clones dashed at the Raikage with kunais, Raikage watched on with a smile he used Lightning Release: Thunderbolt flash creating a shockwave with him as the center. The clones disappeared but Hiroto and Itachi smiled at him and made a hand sign, what followed is a loud explosion obstructing everyone from seeing what happened.

Konoha

Shisui just got back from a clan meeting conducted at the Nara shrine. Shisui watched on as Fugaku is being forced to lead the coup d'etat by the majority of the elders and clan members. Shisui noticed the people who are neutral till then also jumped ship and changed their stance supporting the coup.

Fugaku managed to calm them down but in turn, he got challenged by an elder. Seeing many sharing the same thought as replacing Fugaku as the clan patriarch, Fugaku wiped the floor with his challenger first with a lightning jutsu then followed by a genjutsu knocking the other party out.

Fugaku left soon with a few of his trusted men, Shisui seeing this knew that this is only the calm before the storm.

Shisui not knowing what to do went to the training ground which he and Itachi use regularly. At this moment he missed the three of them, if they are here they might provide a solution.

After a few moments he came to a decision, he will arrange a meeting between Fugaku and Hizuren then he will use their help to find the one who is fanning these flames, then using his Mangekyo ability he can make peace.

Just as he was about to leave he received a message for a meeting with Danzo. Shisui had to follow with different thoughts in his mind, in the journey he tried to get more details from the ROOT Anbu but all he got in response was silence.

But no Konoha shinobi celebrated as the Hyūga clansmen already said what they saw in that, the Raikage standing tall without any damage. The same is the case with Hiroto as he sensed no problem with the Raikage's chakra.
