Below the Hokage office, Sora was waiting for his teammates. Occasionally, some ninja will come to greet him. Since the previous mission, the fame of Sora has soared, especially the record of defeating two Jonin.

" We are going to escort Lord Orochimaru to the Sand village for the renewal of the peace treaty signed between Sand village and Konoha."

"The peace treaty? Has the peace treaty signed in the second ninja war expired?" asked Aoi hesitantly.

If the peace treaty between the two countries is signed then the two countries will be at peace.

If not then what awaits everyone is war.

So, the importance of this mission is evident. So much so that even one of the sannins, Orochimaru is dispatched.

"Yes! This time it is a joint mission. There are going to be other teams present as well."

The ninja selected for this mission is mostly strong. There is a squad of jonin as well as four men wearing masks presumably the Anbu directly under the Hokage.

As everyone arrived at the gate of Konoha, a hoars voice sounded attracting everyone's attention.

" Is this the guard who will come with me to the Sand village? Looks good," said Orochimaru.

After a while, everyone was ready to depart when there were cheers from the villagers.

Since it is an official mission, the team did not hide their traces, so most of the villagers cheered with love and respect for Orochimaru.

Orochimaru at this point of the timeline is not involved in the human experiment and is still popular in the village.

After they set off, the villagers also dispersed.

" This mission might not go too smoothly," said Orochimaru pointing at the map.

Around the burning fire, Sora sat crossed leg surrounded by a smiling Jonin, the dull and taciturn Anbu and Orochimaru with the corner of his mouth raised slightly.

" Other villages would not want to see us and the sand village have a peace treaty again. Therefore, we must guard against them as well."
