Chapter 6

Midori soon found a good place to hide away with Izuna while the attempts to stop the Nine-Tailed fox went on with many lives being lost until the third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen made his appearance and pushed the tailed beast out of the village.

This gave the shinobi hope however that hope was soon threatened when the nine tails started charging up its signature move the tailed bomb and aimed it at the village however before he could fire it, the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze made his appearance as he appeared on his Hokage stone face.

This caused the beast to sense his presence and thus turned its attention towards him and then fired off the tailed beast bomb.

Minato, in response to the oncoming attack, used his teleportation ninjutsu, the famous Flying Raijin jutsu to form a space-time barrier right in front of him which then teleported the nuke into the far distance.

Minato after this summoned his contracted summon animal which is a massive toad to restrain the nine-tails for a couple of seconds before he teleported the nine-tail and himself away from the village.

Midori who had been able to use her Sharingan to observe the battle from their hideout saw the fight being taken outside the village and thus making the village safe to return back into.

"... The nine tails appearing in the village despite being sealed in the fourth Hokage's wife means that something very bad must have happened..."

As Midori walked through the heavily devastated village and made her way towards her house, she wondered to herself how the nine tails could appear in the village despite being sealed inside the fourth Hokage's wife.

Midori continued on her while still trying to find how the nine tails appeared like almost everyone in the village and every guess that came to mind was something that she didn't like.

'... I can already foresee the very bleak future of the clan.'

With this thought in mind, Midori and Izuna made their way back home to wait for Yagami however they were in for a very heartbreaking news.

[The next day]

The rest of the night went by as the fight between the fourth Hokage and the nine tails went on until mid-noon when the Nine-tails was finally sealed in a child.

The news of the fourth hokage and his wife's death was soon announced by the third homage and now, countless shinobi could be seen gathering the bodies of those who had died in the attack at a secluded place of the graveyard for their families to recognize.

While this was going on for most of the villagers, the same way for the Uchiha as despite being ordered to stay away from the battle by counsel man Danzo and just like what was happening for most of the villagers, the Uchiha clan also gathered the bodies for the families to recognize them before being buried.

At this point in time, Midori was still sitting in front of her house waiting for her son's return with Izuna in her arms and since it had been many hours since the battle ended and yet Yagami had not made an appearance to check up on his mother and son gave birth to the idea that something bad has happened to him however, Midori still had the hope of her son's return but this hope shattered immediately when she saw a group of Uchiha young men making their way towards.

Midori recognized the group immediately, especially the leading young man who was a man of the same age as Yagami and just like most of the Uchiha clan members the young man had black hair, black eyes and quite an attractive face.

"... Obanai, where is Yagami?"

"..."

Midori recognized the young man immediately as he was friends with Yagami and asked him where her son was however Obanai shook his head with quite a sad face and then pulled out a ninja tool pouches.

"... No!"

Midori's body shook immediately as she saw the pouches as she immediately recognized them because they were pouches that she made for his son the day that he became a ninja. The appearance of the pouches confirmed Yagami's death and Izuna followed after her.

The beautiful memories that he had built with his new family which was so much better than his previous life family who treated him like a mistake started flashing through his head one after the other and these flashes caused his emotions to erupt.

The emotions range from happiness from the happy time he spent with his dad to the despair at the news of his death and this amalgamation of emotions was so strong that it fulfilled the requirement for his Sharingan and thus his brain released a special form of chakra that affected the optic nerves of his eyes, transforming the eyes into Sharingan with two tomoe in each eye.

Izuna's Sharingan awakening was so fast that nobody present noticed and by the time they paid attention to him, he had instinctively deactivated it.

Obanai and the rest of his group then helped Midori up from the ground and sat her down. They specifically, Obanai then stayed with her while the others left to give the news of the fallen clan members to their respective families and just like that a whole week passed.

Within the week, a grand funeral was held for all fallen friends and family at the same time with those like Yagami who died while trying to save civilians had their names on the massive gravestone in the graveyard.

The following days after the funeral, changes started to happen within the village and what Midari had predicted started coming true as the villagers started antagonizing the Uchiha clan for the nine-tails attack and their reason for it was quite reasonable.

You see, not many know this but the famous Sharingan also has the ability to control the tailed beasts and the nine tails was once controlled by Madara Uchiha to attack the village and while this piece of information is a secret, it somehow got into the ears of some civilians.

The antagonism grew up to the point that the Uchiha clan was ultimately relocated to the far edge of the village after its reconstruction thus essentially banishing them from the village despite being part of it and the clam members didn't take this lightly as the very formation of the village was because of them and the Senju who prior to the village formation were the undisputed strongest clans in the land of fire and by extension, the entire world.

The other clans who joined the village basically did because they didn't want to be enemies of these clans and now, those who helped found the village were being cast out while those "outsiders" stayed.

On top of this, there has never been an Uchiha Hokage despite creating some of the strongest shinobi in the history of the village but they were always overlooked whenever the Hokage position became empty.

All this unjust treatment against them resulted in the clan members, especially the younger generation to slowly resent the village and villagers.

While this was happening, Izuna and his grandmother were slowly comforting each other to overcome their loss.
