"My chakra has doubled," Sakura mumbled to herself as she checked her status panel, "which means that I've already surpassed the average Kakashi— I mean, Jōnin— in chakra capacity…"

Sakura palmed her bust, which looked especially enormous on her tiny frame. She needed to redo her chest bindings, having burst out of them while unconscious…

"A bunch of new nature affinities appeared out of nowhere," Sakura then said to herself thoughtfully. "I don't get these numbers…"

Chakra is the miracle that connects every single thing and every single living being; when the Host absorbs another's breast chakra, the Host's chakra becomes linked to theirs, therefore gaining the ability to mimic their best traits— namely, their affinities.

"So, the reason why my fire chakra affinity is 200% is because I drained so many old ladies from the Land of Fire?" Sakura asked the System.

That is not the case— the 200% value originates from the Host's choice of cheats. No matter how many old ladies the Host absorbs chakra from, the Host will never be able to exceed this value unless the Host absorbs chakra from a woman whose chakra affinity already exceeded 200% to begin with.

In other words, Sakura couldn't just go on a rampage and drain a thousand civilians from the Land of Fire to become the new Hi-no-Kagutsuchi.

Incidentally, the threshold to create a new nature transformation Kekkei Genkai begins at 100% affinity in at least two natures, but if the Host cannot be bothered to make their own Kekkei Genkai, the Host can also absorb breast chakra from a Kekkei Genkai user, and they will immediately gain the ability to use their Kekkei Genkai.

Sakura tried remembering when she had gained her other nature affinities; she had first started with fire, yin and yang…

(Author's Note: I am aware that the fourth databook says that Sakura can also use water and earth style, but that book covers the endgame part of Naruto. Furthermore, the databooks are extremely unreliable and their information is often wildly inaccurate, so I'd rather stick to what's in the manga/anime)

Then, she had gained her water affinity from Gatō's mistress, which accounted for that 100%, and finally, after absorbing Orochimaru's chakra, Sakura's wind affinity had increased to 150%, while both Lightning and Earth had increased to 99%.

"Orochimaru's original chakra affinity must have been wind," Sakura hypothesized. "And he must have experimented on himself or trained to raise his other nature affinities; as a shortcut to become like his sensei the Third Hokage, who is known to have mastered all five elements…"

As a reminder, most people would only have one primary chakra affinity, which would rarely exceed 100%; not that this could stop them from learning Ninjutsu with which they had extremely low affinity.

'It's a shame we only know a handful of Jutsu,' Inner Sakura sighed. 'There's still a month to go before the Konoha Crush begins for real— as long as we pass the second round and spend that time productively, we might even impress the higher-ups enough to get promoted to Chūnin despite everything…'

Being able to use all five chakra nature transformations was all well and good, but unless Sakura could obtain Ninjutsu to make use of her affinities, they would be about as useless as shuriken were lethal. But all of that was in the future; for now, she was still in the Forest of Death, and just like Sasuke had warned her before falling unconscious, Orochimaru's subordinates from the Hidden Sound were coming after them.

However, this was exactly what Sakura wanted; one of their pursuers would be a girl, or in other words, free real estate! And if Sakura could get breast chakra from Tayuya, she would also probably be getting the Senjutsu chakra in Tayuya's cursed seal, now that she thought about it.

Orochimaru's physique wasn't strong enough told Senjutsu chakra within his body, but that did not mean he was unable to mould it and inject it into his subordinates…

In any case, before she could think of bringing the fight to the Hidden Sound Genin, Sakura first needed to recuperate. And between fighting for her life and getting knocked out, Sakura had completely lost track of the time— not much sunlight made it through the Forest of Death's dense foliage, but what little light pierced through the leaves was quickly fading away; the sun was setting, and twilight was falling upon the Land of Fire.

To regain some of her stamina, Sakura swallowed one of her soldier pills; knowing about the exam's five-day survival aspect in advance, she had hidden a few in her pockets. And with her hunger quelled, Sakura dragged Naruto's and Sasuke's unconscious bodies under a large tree root to hide them from sight, before setting up a few bell-and-wire traps around her little campsite, and summoning a Shadow Clone.

"Patrol the surrounding area," Sakura told her Shadow Clone. "I'm going to get some more sleep."

To recover from her concussion, Sakura had no choice but to sleep; forcing herself to stay awake would do her more harm than good.

"I'll wake you up if I see anyone suspicious approaching," said Sakura's Shadow Clone distractedly.

Sakura looked at her Shadow Clone suspiciously.

"Are you staring at my chest?" Sakura asked, frowning.

She somewhat remembered Naruto's Shadow Clones rebelling against him once, but the memory was fuzzy. Well, no matter; as long as her Shadow Clones kept following her orders, little quirks like these could be ignored.

Not that Sakura was going out of her way to mistreat them, or anything; Shadow Clones' memories and experiences would return to the original once they were dispelled, so she'd only be punishing herself by abusing them!

"It's just your imagination," the Shadow Clone responded innocently, before leaping to a branch above.
