Chapter 6: Sharingan

"Fuuinjutsu: Seal break"

Comes the voice of the one-eyed ninja as his hands move towards the door of the hideout as it begins to glow with Chakra. It begins to smoke as multiple sealing arrays reveal themselves and begin to unravel from the entrance. After an agonising 5 minutes, the ninja drops to his knees as his sweat continues to pour onto the ground from the sheer amount of effort he had needed to break the barrier. The other members of his team including one young Purple-haired kunoichi holding a sword a the ready (AN: Yugao) and another covered in a sexually revealing dress (AN: Anko).

None of the team members realises the array only began to execute a Jutsu to their left as a huge blade of wind was formed and released. The Anbu immediately jumped back, but because of the exhaustion visible in Kakashi's face, he was only barely able to move. Realising his impending doom, his eyes suddenly widen portraying his thoughts clearly: 'Will I die in such a meaningless fashion?'

"Wood Style: Wood wall Jutsu"

Comes the sound of one root agent as he places his hands on the ground causing a defensive crisscross of wooden beams to appear in front of the wind blade effectively negating it. After sighing in relief, Kakashi looks at the new arrival with a critical eye, "Is that you Kinoe?"

"It's been a long time, right Kakashi-san?" comes the young and higher-pitched voice of the ROOT member. As he helps Kakashi up and both of them along with the 2 other ANBU members begin to move into the hideout. No one paying attention to the darkly cloaked figures in the background wearing ROOT masks, stalking said shinobi further.

"Why are you doing this, Kinoe?" comes the voice of the singular Sharingan user as his kunai clashes against that of the wood style user. He feels the tense vibrations through his arm, portraying the intended force behind the blow and its intent to kill.

"Is that really what you should be asking? Friend killer Kakashi." Comes the taunting voice of the younger ANBU member. Yugao and Anko on the side watch helplessly as they press their backs together to protect each other from the other two ROOTT members currently trying the eliminate the kunoichi in front of them. The Kunai clashing fiercely as Anko tries to use her snakes to manoeuvre and trap the elusive shinobi in an attempt to pin them down.

Yugao on the other hand is unable to use her entire sword arts to their full potential since her katana lays far away in the corner of the huge room, her eyes are helplessly drawn to the huge tube in the middle, glowing brightly providing the only light in the room.

"Wood style: Wood pillar dragon Jutsu"

Comes the voice of Kinoe as he hits Kakashi in his stomach, launching him to the other side of the room.

"Wood style: Wood binding Jutsu"

Says the ROOT member as wood tendrils immediately snap to Kakashi as he is held to the ground without any space for movement

"Stop doing this Kinoe, if you come at me with intent to kill I will also have to do the same"

"I am serious about this"

Says Kinoe as he plunges his sword into the abdomen of Kakashi, pushing it all the way through. Only for the Kakashi to puff into smoke.

"Why are you trying to take my life?"

Comes the voice of Kakashi, his Sharingan on full display as he holds a kunai to the throat of Kinoe, waiting for an answer. As if responding to the shadow clone, the Kinoe in front of him immediately turns into wood dropping to the floor.

"it's my mission."

Naruto groggily opens his eyes as a huge crash resonates in his entire body. He registers huge cracks in the test tube in front of him as a gaping hole is left in the middle, draining the tube of all its fluid as Naruto's feet touch the ground. He holds his mask and begins to pull I off his face, not even pausing for a second as a tube begins to be removed from his throat along with the mask. He pulls it out using both his hands. He faces the tube in front of him as he coats his fist in chakra and punches.

In front of him, he processes 6 shinobi, 3 in ANBU masks and the other 3 in leaf headbands. All of the heads in the room snap towards him, not realizing what they were looking at. He also notices the silver-haired shinobi to his right getting into a taijutsu stance, but he only focuses on the intriguing red eye he feels power coming from.

His eye suddenly begins to itch as he reflexively sends them chakra as he immediately realises he can suddenly see much clearer than before, noticing even the slight movements of all the shinobi in the room. He looks into the eyes of the shinobi with the different coloured eyes as he notices the blatant look of shock on his face.

His eyes show an eerie red glow as they focus and his single tomoe begins spinning in his eyes, causing slight drops of blood to emerge from the forced evolution in the eyes. Eventually, the tomoes rest back in the eyes, causing Kakashi to gasp at the two eyes with 3 tomoe looking at him.

"Sharingan"
