Kin exchanged insights on the cultivation of basic internal techniques.
Most of the talking was done by Kin, while Minato and Kushina listened.
Details included how to accumulate Chakra, how to enhance combat power, and how to strengthen the body over time.
Kin also shared his personal experiences.
Minato listened intently, thoughtfully considering the details.
Kushina was equally serious. She had struggled to complete the first level, as the Nine-Tails Chakra within her would always cause trouble, and she hadn't yet subdued the Nine-Tails.
However, learning that basic internal techniques could help stabilize her internal seal which made her even more interested in this Secret Jutsu.
Kin was truly putting in a lot of effort for these two.
As long as either of them successfully advances, Kin can also advance smoothly.
Moreover, teaching the deduced techniques to others has benefits beyond mere advancement.
The knowledge generated from their cultivation appears in his mind in ways he cannot understand, becoming the underlying logical code for future deductions.
He only learned this last night after Minato and Kushina reached the Beginner level.
There wasn't much to discuss at the first level, so they quickly finished talking.
With hope for the future, he bid farewell to the two.
"See you tomorrow."
Minato smiled and waved, while Kushina turned her head away, pouting. Seeing Minato greeting Kin made her furious, and she dragged him back home.
She felt like her little brother was being stolen by an annoying Uchiha.
It made her very angry.
"Tsundere girl, gentle boy, tsk tsk."
Kin rubbed his chin, watching the two in the distance, sighing.
This kind of combination is such an old trope, where the one who completely doesn't understand feelings ends up being the girl.
"It's also a kind of innovation, I suppose."
However, he also wanted to find a tsundere blonde and a gentle, long-haired black beauty, as long as he made sure they didn't meet each other.
Looking at the darkening sky, a breeze blew, bringing a slight chill.
Kin headed towards the Uchiha clan grounds.
Currently, the Uchiha clan grounds were still located in an important area of Konoha. Although there was a rebellion during the time of the Second Hokage which caused a move away from the center of Konoha, it was still in a prosperous area.
As for later being pushed to the outskirts, that was due to the Nine-Tails incident.
After all, the pair of Sharingan on the Nine-Tails later on really made the Uchiha unable to explain their innocence.
Just as he walked into the clan grounds, Kin was stopped by someone.
"That's him, Brother Yashiro."
Uchiha Hiru, angry, pointed at Kin while addressing a man with short brown hair and unique markings on either side of his eyes.
Not only did they fail to bully Kin, but they also allowed him to sleep through an entire class.
This resulted in Kin's evaluation score being zero.
These three little brats were here to pick a fight.
They directly brought a Jonin over, were they looking for trouble or trying to get someone killed?
And they got the wrong person.
"Brother Yashiro, they bullied me!"
Kin immediately put on a pitiful expression, tears flowing instantly without hesitation.
Anyone would think this kid was so pitiful upon seeing him.
But this didn't include Yashiro.
"Little Kin, you've used this trick so many times. At least change your act, okay?" Yashiro scratched his face, feeling a bit embarrassed.
At least don't be so perfunctory.
In this situation, Kin would pull this stunt at least five or six times a year. Yashiro was no longer so easily fooled.
"Tsk," Kin clicked his tongue.
"Brother Yashiro, he clicked his tongue at you!" Hiru frantically pointed at Kin, looking as anxious as a dog that sees a bone but can't reach it.
Originally, seeing Yashiro's attitude, they thought they couldn't get him to help teach Kin a lesson. Now, they finally saw some hope.
"Little Hiru," Yashiro patted Hiru's head, "Uchiha should not bully the weak. It's wrong."
Unfortunately, this person was the gentle Yashiro.
"Alright, alright, Uncle Yashiro, if there's nothing else, hurry up and leave. We kids can handle our own issues." Kin impatiently waved Yashiro away.
This made Yashiro sigh helplessly. When Kin needed him, it was "Brother Yashiro," but when he didn't, it was "Uncle Yashiro."
This kid was so realistic.
"Show me a little respect."
"Are you leaving or not?" Kin bared his teeth in a threatening manner.
Yashiro felt helpless too. If he dared to meddle here, Kin would dare to go and badmouth him to his wife. Kin had done this many times before, though that was before Yashiro got married. Now that he was married, he had to be careful.
He was a Jonin, but still had to worry about this Ninja Academy student.
"Fine, fine, I'm leaving. I'll go right away."
Yashiro had just gotten married not long ago and couldn't let this little troublemaker mess things up for him. Besides, he was dragged here against his will.
"Uchiha must retrieve what they have lost by themselves."
He wasn't worried about Kin. Although Kin couldn't use Ninjutsu, his Taijutsu was quite strong. When patrolling the forest, Yashiro had seen Kin fighting with wild beasts.
This kid actually worked very hard, but his talent was just mediocre.
"Don't go too far," Yashiro still said.
"Don't worry, Brother Yashiro, we won't go too far," Hiru and his companions sneered. This wasn't school where they had to fight one-on-one.
After seeing Kin's strength when dealing with Tomori, they had no confidence in a one-on-one fight. They weren't stupid, so they turned to find help.
Since no one else would help them, they couldn't be blamed for teaming up.
"He was talking to me," Kin's voice suddenly appeared in Hiru's ear. Kin was standing behind him, raising a hand for a knife-hand strike.
When did he...
"Smack!" The knife-hand strike landed, and Hiru rolled his eyes and collapsed to the ground.
"You little!" Uchiha Yushin pulled out a kunai and charged forward.
Kin sidestepped half a body width to dodge Yushin's attack and then kneed him in the stomach. Yushin rolled his eyes and collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
His gaze turned to Uchiha Tomori, who had also taken out a kunai. Seeing Kin looking at him, Tomori immediately dropped his kunai and laid down on the ground.
An Uchiha doesn't suffer unnecessary losses.
"Smart," Kin clapped his hands.
Yashiro, who hadn't walked far, turned around to look and saw that the fight was already over. Unfortunately, a ninja relying only on Taijutsu can't become strong. Kin would face hardships in the future.
Kin didn't care what they thought or about the three lying on the ground. He walked slowly towards home.
...
Back at home, Kin started preparing dinner. He busied himself in the kitchen for a long time, finally making some dishes from his past life.
The main problem was that the variety of food in the Naruto world was really limited, with only a few dishes over and over again. He was tired of them. Although many ninjas lived off instant noodles, coming from a country of a variety of foods, he couldn't stand eating instant noodles every day.
"If my cultivation fails, I'll find a way to retire and open a shop. It'll definitely make money."
His purpose in establishing basic internal skills was to eventually transition to cultivation. After all, this world has natural Chakra, and the sages of the summoning sanctuaries have all lived for a thousand years. Theoretically, with the wonders of Chakra, cultivation is feasible. Not to mention the one in the sky, who is ageless and immortal, and was only sealed away rather than killed.
"Cultivation is highly promising."
He returned to the living room with a dish in hand, intending to enjoy a nice meal. However, a young man with short black hair was now in the living room, and the expression on Kin's face vanished.
Placing the dish on the table, he sat properly across from the young man.
"I wonder what brings the young Clan Head Fugaku here."
Uchiha Fugaku, the only son of the current Clan Head and the future leader of the Uchiha who would lead them to destruction. However, as someone marginalized due to his talent, Kin wouldn't typically attract the attention of this young Clan Head.
Although Kin's parents were well-respected in the Uchiha clan, the influence of the deceased fades quickly. Only a few showed kindness to him, and the Clan Head's family was not among them.
"You've been interacting with Kushina lately?"
Fugaku's voice was very somber.
"So what if I have? It has nothing to do with the clan, right?"
Kin realized the true reason for Fugaku's visit—it was because of Kushina, the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki.
Tailed Beasts are strategic weapons, naturally attracting much attention, including from the Uchiha.
Senju Hashirama's distribution of Tailed Beasts for peace was essentially not a problem. The key issue was that Tailed Beasts couldn't cause truly destructive damage. Every village has the power to counter Tailed Beasts, so while they are concerned about the danger, they aren't terribly afraid, and the deterrent effect of the Tailed Beasts is lost.
If you think of it like nuclear weapons, where everyone has them, who's going to dare to use them, knowing it would destroy entire villages?
Seeing Kin's indifferent expression, Fugaku warned in a deep voice."
"Stay away from her."
The Uchiha clan couldn't bear the suspicion of the village. While Kin didn't know about the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, the Elders were well aware.
Kin's usual playful smile vanished, and his face became expressionless. He picked up the chopsticks and tapped the tips together.
"Who I get close to is none of your business. You're overstepping."
Fugaku frowned slightly. He didn't particularly like Kin who had low talent.
"This is an order."
"An order?"
Kin grinned, but there was no trace of amusement in his eyes. He slammed the chopsticks on the table.
"Fugaku, you have quite the nerve. Just because I call you the Young Clan Head, don't think you're really the Clan Head. Order me? What makes you think you can?"
Just as Fugaku didn't like Kin, Kin also didn't think much of Fugaku. Indecisive, lacking vision—Fugaku would be half responsible for the future downfall of the Uchiha.
He's still responsible for half. Without this family, the Uchiha could have lived another fifty years.
"You!" Fugaku slammed his hands on the table with a loud "bang," making the plates on the table tremble, his face turning as dark as the bottom of a pot.
Kin continued to mock without a care.
"The Young Clan Head wants to show authority using me, a useless person? You're really boosting the Uchiha's reputation."
"I..." Fugaku suppressed his anger. He hadn't interacted much with Kin before, and he wasn't good with words, let alone dealing with Kin in a verbal duel. If he scolded, he'd lose face; if he resorted to physical confrontation, it would be even more embarrassing.
"I won't keep the Young Clan Head for dinner then, since I didn't prepare the utensils." Kin glanced at him and picked up some food with his chopsticks.
"Hmph." Fugaku snorted coldly and left.
Only Kin remained, picking up some food with his chopsticks.
"Wanna control me? You won't even become the Clan Head!"
