SHINOBU NO SEKAI,
KAZE NO KUNI,
VILLAGE HIDDEN IN THE SAND/ SUNAGAKURE,
ENTRANCE,
22TH/ MAY/ KONOHA 6TH FOUNDATION YEAR,
AFTERNOON--12:45 P.M,
....
Author's P.O.V,
Under the scorching Sun Two figures, one big another small, could be observed sprinting towards Sunagakure, through the endless sand surrounding them from every direction.
The only striking fact about the duo was that the bigger figure was sweating like a normal person with a slightly fatigued expression on his face. On the other hand, the small figure (i.e., Red) with fiery crimson hair and white porcelain skin closely followed the middle-aged Chunin i.e., Kinoe.
Despite running on the rough and dry sand for hours, Red didn't show any expressions of fatigue or exhaustion. His calm breath and the ease by which he travelled through the sand left Kinoe to doubt himself and think inwardly, 'Who's the real Chunin of Hidden Sand, Me or this child?!'
Looking at the fitness of Red, Kinoe couldn't think but envied him with all his might.
....
An hour later,
"Halt!"
Shouted a Chunin when he spotted Red and Kinoe approaching the entrance of the Village hidden in the Sand.
Chunin was also a scary, scar-faced middle aged man. His mere sight was enough to frighten any ten year old kid. He possessed the most common brown hair and eyes and stood tall with a height of one and half meter.
Though he may not be the best of all Shinobies, He can easily mingle with commoners, giving him a knack for covert operations.
..
Red and Kinoe stopped a little away from the tall wall made up of sand and mud.
"My prince, please wait a minute."
"Hmm."
Doing so, Kinoe turned towards Red and reassured him before walking towards the guard.
Thump!
"State your business and show me your identification!"
Sensing that the figures had heeded his orders, the guard also known as Sancho jumped down from the wall and instructed Kinoe in a stern voice.
"Hold your horses dude, I am your old buddy Kinoe. Did you forget me already?"
"Ugh!, No you leach! Stay away from me."
As soon as Kinoe reached near Sancho, he started teasing him, signifying his familiarity with the Chunin guard.
As usual, Kinoe tried to lounge at him to hug him but immediately got turned down by Sancho since no-one would want to hug a sweating Middle-aged uncle. Right!
{A/N: I would never!}
Glare!
Seeing the rude action of Kinoe, Sancho moved away from Kinoe while arming himself with the kunai before glaring warily at Kinoe.
"Oh, forget it if you don't want to."
Seeing that situation is no longer good for his life. Kinoe swiftly turned his attitude from a friendly buddy to his usual one.
"Cut the crap! Show me your identification. Else, my kunai and your head."
Despite knowing Kinoe well, Sancho can't just let him pass without confirming his identity. After all, the transformation Jutsu is still popular during this time and many spies are using it to infiltrate other hidden villages.
Swish!
"Hai-Hai, Look. It's my token number. Get it?"
"Fine. But, who's this child?"
Being threatened by his comrade, Kinoe finally threw his token at Sancho, taking away his previous wariness. After confirming his identity, Sancho inquired about the child. However, this time, he appeared to be a little relaxed and easy-going.
Shinobies might look aloof but no Shinobi had even been a fool. Of course, disregarding the one in billion, incarnations of Ashura, the epitome of foolishness.
"Hehe! He is...."
"Hey, cut the crap! Or, you want to taste my divine hammer?"
"Tch! You are no fun. That child is our lost little prince~"
"Huh!.... NANIIIIII!!!"
Hearing Sancho's remark, Kinoe showed the identification of Red with shaky hands. When he read the words on the whole scroll, he shouted incredulously!
Haha!
That dumbfounded expression of Sancho was a sight to behold, but not for underage kids. To those trying to envision his expression, PLEASE DO NOT!
....
"Little Prince, why are you standing under the Sun! Come and enter the Village~"
"Pfft! Haha..."
After recovering from his stupor, Sancho respectfully escorted Red and Kinoe to the entrance of Sunagakure, under the funny gazes of damned Kinoe who kept chuckling along the way after hearing his sweet and mellow voice.
From this scene, one can understand a single fact clearly, despite being far stronger than the so-called Daimyos and nobles, Shinobi's status was still lower than that of the ruling class.
Here, if a commoner disrespects a Noble then the noble can execute the said one on the spot that's why except Kage-level Shinobi no-one really dares to offend a noble.
Regarding the one miniscule number of offenders, they have long since perished...
All in all, this whole system is totally crap!
Nevertheless, we shouldn't wander away from the plot.
So, amidst our little debate, Red entered the village through the small road surrounded by the huge clay walls.
The whole structure seemed rather bland and monotonous but, the focus of Red wasn't on it.
He kept walking aimlessly towards random directions while Kinoe obediently followed his precious goose.
...
Under the gaze of the residents of Sunagakure, Red waltz through the streets at an extremely fast pace. And yet...
"Ahhh!"
"How Cute~~~"
"Hey, catch that child~!"
His speed was unable to save himself from the sharp observation of the Onee-sans who captured every bit of Red's figure and exclaimed like a nympho!
....
Unbeknownst to the thoughts of the whole Sunagakure, Red finally reached the entrance of a simple clay house that was equipped with the highest amount of wood in the whole Sunagakure.
Knock-Knock!
Reaching his destination, Red furiously knocked the door and shouted with all his might!
"I AM HOME!"
