Chapter 3: Unwanted Destiny!

It had been a month since Yuto joined the academy, and the routine was becoming monotonous. The academic lessons were simple, the physical education was barely a challenge, and Yuto found himself reminiscing about the weekend training sessions with Guy-sensei, which pushed both him and Naruko to their limits. Compared to those grueling exercises, running laps and doing basic stretches with his classmates felt like child's play.

'This is so boring,' Yuto thought, resting his chin on his hand as the teacher droned on. His attention wavered, but before he could descend further into boredom, a bright notification appeared in his vision.

[Mission: Witness the Uchiha Massacre that is gonna happen in six months while protecting Hitomi Uchiha from Tsukuyomi.

Yuto's heart skipped a beat as the words registered in his brain. He clenched his fists tightly under the desk, his thoughts swirling in panic. 'What?! The Uchiha massacre?! How the hell am I supposed to survive that?' His mind raced with scenarios of being caught in the middle of Itachi's slaughter or, worse, being discovered by the mysterious masked man who was manipulating things from the shadows.

He fought back the rising anxiety. 'No, calm down. Think, Yuto… You can't lose your head now.' Taking a deep breath, Yuto tried to analyze the situation.

First, there was Itachi. Protecting Hitomi from Tsukuyomi? One of the most powerful Genjutsu in the world? 'How am I supposed to stop that?' Yuto's eyes darted toward Hitomi, who sat near the front of the class, paying full attention to Iruka-sensei. Her calm demeanor only fueled his growing determination. 'Maybe… maybe Itachi won't kill me if I'm close to her. He loves his sister, and he's doing this to make her hate him. If I can show him that I care about her, maybe he'll spare me.'

He mulled over various strategies. 'The mission said to protect her from the Genjutsu. Does that mean I don't have to fight him directly? Maybe I can knock her out before he casts it, or drag her away and tell him to stay back.'

His thoughts trailed back to how Itachi acted in the series. 'If I'm with Hitomi, I could even try to convince Itachi that I understand why he's doing this. Maybe that could keep me alive. But convincing Itachi…'

Suddenly, another, more terrifying thought crossed his mind. Obito. The man in the mask. 'What if I run into him? He could kill me in an instant, or worse, Danzo could decide to grab me while I'm distracted. I've got to be careful...'

But then, an idea flickered. 'Wait... if I stay close to Hitomi, maybe Obito won't interfere. Itachi had warned him to leave her alone. That could give me a way to avoid him altogether.' His confidence began to grow, but the overwhelming weight of the mission still loomed over him.

Yuto let out a soft sigh. 'Even with all that... can I really do it? This isn't some anime where I have a protagonist halo to protect me. I could actually die.'

For a moment, the world felt much heavier. His usual smirk and casual attitude faltered. The responsibility weighed on him like never before.

'But I have to try. I've come too far to back down now.'

For a moment, Yuto sat in silence, the enormity of the mission pressing down on him. Then, he resolved himself. 'I have to try.'

While Yuto was battling his internal turmoil, another conversation was unfolding within the Yamanaka Clan.

The elders gathered around the clan head, their expressions grave. "What are we going to do about Yuto?" one of the elders asked, his voice tinged with concern. "He's a prodigy, surpassing not just the other children in the clan but even the heirs of the other clans. He broke Itachi Uchiha's record at the academy."

"That should be good news," another elder chimed in, "but the problem is... his association with the jinchuriki."

The clan head, Inoichi Yamanaka, frowned but didn't interrupt. The elders continued, "It's not that we hate the girl. The Hokage has made it clear she's not the demon herself, and we respect his decision. But Danzo is another story."

Inoichi's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?"

"We've detected Root agents spying on us. They've been monitoring Yuto and Naruko. Danzo likely has plans, and that man doesn't take 'no' for an answer."

Inoichi took a deep breath, leaning back in his chair. "I will speak with Yuto. I need to understand why he's so close to Naruko. Only then will I make a decision on how we proceed."

The room fell silent as the gravity of the situation hung in the air. Danzo's ambitions were no secret, and the Yamanaka Clan had no intention of letting their prodigy become another pawn.

While the Yamanaka Clan decided to wait and confront Yuto, the scene shifted to Danzo's office. Danzo sat in his usual, stern posture, facing Orochimaru, the rogue ninja of Konoha.

"The plan is set to harvest many Sharingan," Danzo stated coldly. "I expect you to hold up your end—create the arm using Hashirama's cells and the Sharingan."

Orochimaru grinned, licking his lips. "I'll do my part, Danzo. But don't think of using Kotoamatsukami on me. I've taken precautions. If you fail to deliver the Uchiha bodies and Hashirama cells, you'll regret it." His tone was menacing, hinting at the deep layers of his treachery.

Danzo remained stoic, knowing full well the thin line they both walked, united only by ambition.

Orochimaru leaned forward, his curiosity piqued. "I need someone who can assist me with the arm project, preferably someone skilled in medical ninjutsu," he said, his voice smooth but laced with urgency.

Danzo raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "You require assistance?"

"Indeed, using the hashirama cells is not child's play.It will take 6 years to build that arm." Orochimaru replied, glancing toward Kabuto, who stood silently in the shadows. "He has proven himself useful in the past. I believe he could be of great help, but make no mistake—he is under my supervision, not yours."

Danzo's expression hardened. "As long as you both deliver results, I have no objections. Failure will not be tolerated."
