Mind Control

As soon as Jiraiya got close to Kurenai, he immediately summoned the gourd toad and pulled her along with him and his party into the toad's stomach.

"What is this place? I really didn't expect that he would make up for the shortcomings in the toad's stomach. Is this a dimension that is completely isolated from the outside world? This pool of water seems to be highly corrosive acid…"

However, the word "fair" made the faces of Jiraiya and the other men hot. Kurenai was fighting all of them while taking care of Hinata. It was really embarrassing.

"Well, the path of ninjas is never been fair. Have you forgotten about it?" Kakashi coughed, a little embarrassed. But now was not the time to talk about ideals.

"Yes, there is indeed no fairness in this path we walk. I am just mocking you. Hinata, stay aside and see how Sensei will deal with these guys."

Kurenai threw Hinata aside, and then her figure flashed to the back of Asuma, apparently planning to attack first.

"Asuma, behind!" Kakashi immediately shouted while activatiing his Mangekyo. He was surprised that Kurenai's speed was much faster than his. Although Kurenai was already an excellent ninja, she wasn't that outstanding.

"Water Release - Water Prison!" No one knew when, but Kakashi had created a water clone. After hitting Kurenai, he immediately appeared from the water and used a Water Prison in front of her.

"The battle is over. Wind Release - Air Bullet." The speed of Kurenai's hand seal was incomparable to that of Kakashi. The late air bullets, along with Kakashi's water clone, exploded with a bang. The air current produced by the explosion put the water flow to a stop.

"Did he win?" Guy was a step too late. He did not even manage to run over. The ninjutsu had already arrived, and he didn't want to join the attack since he didn't want to hinder Kakashi and Asuma.

"Get down!" Jiraiya's eyes were sharp, and without saying a word, he directly got down on the ground. Hearing this, Kakashi and the others immediately got down. Sure enough, just as they got down, a sharp wind blade swept across their bodies. If they were a bit late, they would've been cut into two.

"What a powerful Wind Release!" Asuma was an expert in Wind Release. Of course, he knew that the more he grinded, the sharper his Wind Release attacks would be. Kurenai's scythe-like wind blade was very thin, but it was far too sharp for him.

"Now is not the time to be amazed. I know that you used to be very good friends, and you were also teammates who stood side by side. It will be difficult for you to kill her. So pleae, just catch her!"

Jiraiya was not unreasonable. He knew that the people around him were people who valued friendship. He was the same, so he admired people like Asuma.

The combination of high-pressure wind blast and the high-temperature Red Lotus suddenly raised the temperature of the toad's stomach. Hissing sounds continuously rang out and the acid in the pool evaporated.

"That's amazing. Leave this to me. Sage Art: Odama Rasengan!" Jiraiya didn't want to be outdone. He jumped up and suddenly a rope-like toad tongue appeared in the sky. He held onto it and crashed his Odama Rasengan into Kurenai's attacks. 

"Lightning Release - Raikiri!" Kakashi knew that it was time for him to attract Kurenai's attention and give Jiraiya a chance. As the Raikiri flashed, a cry of thousands of birds rang out. While holding the Raikiri, Kakashi turned into a bolt of lightning and bolted straight at the toad.

"Hehe." Kurenai didn't dodge or use any ability. Kakashi felt a bit strange. The kunoichi didn't budge although he was rushing at full speed.

"Kakashi, stop!" Guy immediately rushed over, but unfortunately, he was a step too late. Suddenly, a figure appeared in front of Kurenai and blocked Raikiri's trajectory.

"Asuma!!" Kakashi screamed. He couldn't stop, but at the critical moment, he changed the position of his attack. But even so, Asuma's shoulder was still pierced. The strange thing was that Asuma didn't seem to feel any pain. He actually hugged Kakashi in spite of the pain.

"Asuma, what are you doing?" Jiraiya was puzzled. What was this guy doing? He knew that Asuma liked Kurenai.

Unfortunately, Kurenai always treated him like nothing and rejected him. She said that she would only like Ryoha for the rest of her life, so Jiraiya didn't believe that Asuma would use her body as a shield to block Raikiri. There was only one possibility: Asuma was controlled by Kurenai.

"Kurenai… you…." This ability to control others to pit allies against each other made Jiraiya angry.
