Pregnancy and Childbirth

"Hm, I'm pregnant dear" Hinami nodded and replied with tears of joy, her voice shaking due to the happiness.

Shun stood up with a face full of smiles and hugged her tightly. "You did huh, Hinami"

"Mhm," Hinami shook her head, "WE did it, Shun"

"Yeah, we did, this is our child," Shun said still full of smiles.

Shun and Hinami remained in their hugging posture for quite some time before Shun released her and asked, "How did you even find out?"

"I was just doing my daily scan on my body during meditation when I noticed the abnormality in my stomach area, after carefully checking it out, I found It," Hinami replied.

"Well, that's true there seems to be something forming in your womb and your chakra is being used to form it up. Congrats Nami, you got what you always wanted right?" Shun explained and asked.

"Hmm. But you talk as if you didn't want it" Hinami said and squinted her eyes at Shun.

"How can that be? I'm probably the person expecting this the most." Shun replied.

Truly though, Shun was the personnexpextimg this child the most. He may not have been as gusto about it as Hinami but he was truly expecting his child. After all, to him, no matter how long it takes, the fact remains that his child would still be born.

"So what are we going to name him?" Hinami asked excitedly.

"The baby hasn't even been formed yet and you are already thinking of names? And who told you it'll be a boy,? If anything, it'll be a girl" Shun answered.

"What? It's obviously a boy, that way I can have a mini you" Hinami said.

"That's my point exactly, it'll be a girl, that way, I'll have a mini- Hinami, imagine how cute she'd be," Shun said and looked up as if imagining it.

"Hmph, it's a boy"

"It's a girl"

After some time spent arguing onehichbgender the child would be, Shun decided to give up and accept it'll be a boy whole saying that the next one would be a girl.

Hinami smiled in satisfaction seeing Shun agree with her.

"So what name will we give him?" Hinami asked.

"I don't know, how about we think about this In the far future? It's our first time in all this show about we take it slow" Shun suggested calmly so as not to arouse her ire.

"Hmm... You're right, let's take it slow. So what do we do now?" She asked after thinking about it for a while.

"We continue as we've been doing and take it as it comes. Nothing can go wrong here alright? I'll provide anything you'd need" Shun said while gently stroking her face.

"Hmm" Hinami nodded.

After that episode, life went on as usual for everyone for the first 3 months of Hinami's pregnancy, after that, life took a whole new turn for him.

Although it was not too exaggerated Hinami became overly sensitive over the most littlest thing. Shun began taking care of her every need with a smile on his face.

At first Shunnwas a little bit stressed and decided to send his clone to handle Hinami's issue only to be assaulted with pain from nowhere.

Turns out that Hinami found out it was a clone and angrily used a gentle fist strike coated with Explosion force on it, instantly dispelling it and sending the resultant pain over to Shun who was beginning to relax on his reclining chair.

After that experience, Shun never left Hinami's side or neglected her for even a second, but still found a way around the stress.

For every one of Hinami's requests, Shun sends out a clone to perform it while his main body remains by Hinami's side.

Shun even had to make a customized reclining cum vibrating chair for Hinami's comfort. The vibrating effects were for massage purposes, not for whatever y'all perverts thought of.

During Hinami's pregnancy, Kanna and Miyako both gave birth to their children. Twins to Ashura, both boys, and a child to Indra, also a boy.

There were celebrations all over the place as news of Ashura's children being born was announced in contrast to Indra's. In attendance were Shun, Hagoromo, Ashura, Kanna, Hinami, Ria, and all other Indra's subordinates.

Although it wasn't as lively as Ashura's celebration, it was still a nice celebration. Indra showed a rare smile as he held his child. Usually, It would either be a scowl or a stoic expression.

After all was said and done, when it came to giving names to the children, Ashura opted to make Shun to be the children's Godfather and for him to give them names. Shun thought for a while and after searching for a good enough name, he named the older twin, Rengoku, and the younger twin Kenjirou.

When asked why, he shrugged and said, "that's what came to mind. Don't mind it too much. Also, you should be glad, they're named after legends"

Literally everyone's brows twitched hearing that but Shun seemed like he didn't notice and went on as usual.

In Indra's case, he decided to name his child himself. On the day of naming, everyone was gathered to bear witness. Indra stood with his child and said some stuff which Shunndidnt bother paying attention to, ".... And his name will be Ma-"

"..dara" Shun interrupted.

"Hmm?" Everyone looked at him in confusion

"Oh sorry, I just thought the name Madara would sound cool, and domineering, hehe" Shun replied while scratching his head shyly. 'That came out of nowhere. I gotta stop daydreaming' he thought.

Indra looked like he was thinking about something and after a few seconds, he nodded and said, "good, his name will be Madara"

And that was how Indra's first son was named after the future ghost of the Uchiha. I know what y'all must be thinking. How was he named after someone that doesn't exist yet? Right? Good question, unfortunately, there will be no answer.

So that was his the whole thing played out. Life became increasingly stressful for our main character as Hinami became overly hyper-sensitive. That's not a word but there is no better way to describe her.

A few months into her pregnancy, they both made a startling discovery. Hinami was pregnant with twins. This got both of them excited for different reasons.

Hinami was excited because she hoped she was carrying two kittle Shuns while Shun was excited because there is a probability she was carrying a boy and a girl.

Shun didn't voice his thoughts and went along with Hinami's thoughts as he didn't want to rile her up for no reason.

During the entire gestation period, Shun discovered that there were minute amounts of Chakra being devoured from Hinami's chakra pool and funneled into the two zygotes in the womb. It was minute that it almost wasn't noticeable but Shun noticed this and after thinking and speculating on what the cause could be, he decided to let nature take the course.

Maybe it was one of the many wonders of supernatural worlds. After all, most female cultivators carry their children for years while the children suck in the energy of both the mother and the world around them.

Shun speculated that in Hinami's case, this was the children taking some special characteristics from the mother's bloodline ability or something. Still, he was excited at what the outcome would look like.

'Maybe some mutation In the eyes?' Shun thought in excitement.

That way weeks turned to months and finally, just after the 41st week of pregnancy, Hinami went Into labor.

It was a grueling experience for both Hinami and Shun. Hinami had to deal with the pain of giving birth for the first time while Shun had to stay outside as customs demanded.

That was what was supposed to happen but a little genjutsu here and there and Shun was in the labor room beside Hinami throughout the process.

Shun held onto Hinami tightly and Hinami who felt Shun beside her was a little bit comforted but still, that didn't do much to reduce the physical pain. In the end, Hinami managed to hold on till she delivered her two children. A boy and a girl.

Shun was ecstatic at the sight of his children but he held himself and still comforted the now weakened Hinami who still held on till her children were placed in her arms.

"Hello.... my beautiful children... welcome into... this world... Mummy has been..... expecting you" she said in between breaths before she dozed off.

After the entire debacle was done and dusted. Shun left the sleeping Hinami Inside and went outside just as the midwife was about to call him in.

"Shun-sama, lady Hinami has given birth to two beautiful children, you may come in now," The old midwife who gave birth to all the children in this village including Indra and Ashura said to Shun with a smile.

"Thank you Oyako-baasan," Shun bowed in gratitude and went inside the room.

Looking at the children who had been taken from Hinami's sleeping arms and placed in a crib Shun had made especially for his children, Shun smiled as all the emotions he had been experiencing gushed out all at once.

Although he may have seemed calm throughout the entire thing. Starting from Hinami's pregnancy period till her labor period, that was just a facade to ensure that Hinami also remained calm. One has to know that this was his family now. He never experienced love between a man and a woman in his past life not to mention having a child. The flesh of his flesh and blood of his blood.

Although he had a loving mother in the early stages of his life, the remainder of his life could be called dark.

Without Shun knowing, tears began falling from his eyes and onto his children. The children were startled awake but due to being unable to open their eyes, they waved their hands while making some infant gurgles.

"Haha, hello little ones, it's your father here, welcome into this world. Your mother and I have been expecting you." Shun said as he stretched out his finger for the children to hold.

"Gur~" the babies made some noise while saliva came out of their mouths. Shun laughed seeing this.

Shun scanned them for the sake of it and discovered that both babies had an astonishing amount of soul force locked up in their bodies. He raised a brow at this. If not because he was knowledgeable, he would have assumed they were reincarnated, but considering who their father is, it wouldn't come as a surprise if they became the Milim equivalent of this world.

{A/N: Soul force is the source of spiritual energy, for those who forgot}.

Afterward, Hinami woke up and demanded to see her children. They were both brought over to her. She looked at them and giggled. "Look how cute they are. I got my mini Shun and Shun got his mini-me,"

"Right? If not for the hair though." Shun replied while sitting beside her on the bed. Looking closely you would see that both children had white strings of hair on their head which show that they would have Shun's white hair when they grew.

"Yeah, I wonder when they'll open their eyes let's see which one of ours they got," Hinami said.

"So? Have you thought up a name yet?" She asked.

"Hm" Shun nodded, "How about Izanagi and Izanami? Nagi and Nami for short" Shun replied.

"Hmmm, that's good, I guess, but why?" She asked.

"A name is something that follows you till death. The moment you're given a name it's etched on your very soul. It becomes your identity. Rest now. When you get better I'll tell you the story behind these two names." Shun said and kissed her on the head and forcefully put her to sleep. After all, she had just expended a huge amount of stamina. A good rest would do her well.

He then picked up the two little bundles and placed them back in their crib.

After that, he went out to announce the successful delivery of both babies.
