Chapter – 23 The Perfect Recipe of Revenge

Five Months Later, Konoha Hot Spring

"Alright Kyōka-san… I will see you next time…" leaving behind such words, Sasuke left the Konoha Hot Spring and made his way toward his apartment.

"Yes… See you later, Sasuke-san…" nodded Kyōka with dazed eyes that soon turned normal as she looked at the disappearing back of Sasuke.

At this time, the receptionist Onee-san of the Konoha Hot Spring walked behind Kyōka, and whispered in her ears, "So, how is the progress so far Kyōka-chan? Have you managed to convey your feelings to the boy?"

Kyōka turned back and asked Onee-san in confusion, "Feelings?" She was unsure of what the receptionist Onee-san was talking about. Moreover, 'Feelings' was such a foreign term for her… the last time she had heard that term, was several years ago when she completed the graduation test at the Root to part ways with feelings and emotions. Therefore, she did not know what Onee-san meant by feelings.

Onee-san sighed, "How long are you going to stay ignorant girl? Don't you even understand what's in your heart?"

"What's in my heart?" mumbled Kyōka as she tilted her head. 'Other than muscles and blood, is there anything else in my heart?'

"You really don't know, huh?" asked Onee-san. Then she looked left and right, and after confirming that no one was looking, she put her hand inside the deep valley between her breasts, and from there, she took out a book which she gave to Kyōka, "Here you go… you should read it…"

The title of the book said '101 Signs that you are in Love with that boy.'

It was a book targeting young maidens who were confused about their feelings for the boy they were attracted to. A perfect book in Onee-san's opinion for an innocent girl like Kyōka to figure out her feelings for the boy.

Rather than the book itself, Kyōka was more amazed at the sight of Onee-san taking out something from that place, and thought to herself, 'Is it possible to hide things there if they are bigger?' Then, she looked at her own flat chest. For the first time in fifteen years of her life, she felt envious of someone for having a bigger rack.

Onee-san did not notice the envious look in Kyōka's eyes. After giving her the book, she said, "Well… after you read the book, and if it helps… give me your review… It will be very helpful in updating the book's content…" Then turned around and returned to her post.

Yup, the book was written by her, and its objective is to spread awareness among the little flowers of Konoha.

Watching Onee-san leave, Kyōka put the book inside the pocket of her red Kimono and then disappeared from the Konoha Hot Spring. As for whether she would give it a read or not is something even she didn't know.

Uchiha Sasuke's Apartment

'That takes care of the Kyōka problem for the time being…' thought Sasuke as he closed the gate of his apartment and made his way to the kitchen to prepare dinner. The purpose of going to the hot spring and bathing with Kyōka on a regular basis is to keep her under the effect of the Genjutsu, after all, the Genjutsu he has cast upon her is not permanent, it starts to wear off with time. To make sure that Kyōka doesn't realize that she is under his Genjutsu, Sasuke has to make those visits from time to time, which is a bit troublesome.

"Sigh, if only a technique like Kanzen Saimin existed…" muttered Sasuke with a longing expression. Unlike other techniques which wear off with time, Kanzen Saimin is the kind of Genjutsu that would never lose effect even if centuries passed, that's one of the two factors that makes it one of the most terrifying Genjutsu.

In fact, Genjutsu in the world of Shinobi can actually replicate the effect of Kanzen Saimin to a certain extent as it is possible to control the five senses of the target. Although it's not easy, it's not impossible either to make the target misinterpret the form, shape, mass, feel, and smell of others with a very subtle Genjutsu. But the problem is, it can only be done for a short time because, over a longer duration, the effect will start to weaken as a result the target will not only realize that their senses are being controlled, but they will also manage to break free of the Genjutsu.

If not for that problem, Sasuke would have definitely tried to control Sarutobi Asuma using Sensory Control Genjutsu and make him fight a bloody battle against Hiruzen.

'The scene of Sarutobi Hiruzen having to fight and kill his very own son with his very own hands… that would be a perfect recipe of revenge… and I can even add that brat Konohamaru into that heartful family moment as the secret ingredient to bring bitter tears of regret, pain, grief, and misery into Hiruzen's eyes during his final moments…' Just imagining that heartfelt Sarutobi family moment, Sasuke felt euphoric.

'But then again, even for a short duration, I doubt I would be able to control someone like Sarutobi Asuma to make him fight to the death with Sarutobi Hiruzen and carry out the Sarutobi Clan Genocide using only Sensory Manipulation Genjutsu…' Sasuke shook his head regretfully. It would be possible to accomplish such a thing with Kanzen Saimin or Kotoamatsukami, but not with a simple Genjutsu. 

Even if the Visual Prowess of Sasuke's Sharingan is absurdly high, several times higher than a normal three-tomoe Sharingan is supposed to have–because of the fusion of two souls into a single more powerful soul as well as him being the reincarnation of Indra thing, and the Genjutsu he can cast are absurdly powerful as well–it's still not possible for him to achieve that kind of effect with just a sensory manipulation Genjutsu.

For one, it would be easy to determine that Sarutobi Asuma is being controlled, Byakugan can easily do that, and not just Byakugan, even with Sensory Jutsu, it's possible to determine if someone is under Genjutsu based on the flow of that person's Chakra. Sarutobi Hiruzen is likely to be a Sensory type too, with his experience, he would be able to instantly figure out that his son is being controlled, and once he determines that, he would attempt to release him from Genjutsu, which he would probably succeed in because that's a problem a Sensory Manipulation Genjutsu can't tackle.

Of course, just because a sensory manipulation Genjutsu cannot accomplish such a feat doesn't mean there aren't other Jutsu that can't be used… Yamanaka Clan's Jutsus that fucks with other's minds are good alternatives. But Sasuke knows of a better alternative… Spiritualization Jutsu which was used by Katō Dan. 

Using Spiritualization Jutsu, it would be possible to create the scenario of Sarutobi father and son killing each other.

'If I do manage to get my hands on the Scroll of Sealing, then Spiritualization Jutsu would be my target…' thought Sasuke. In fact, the Spiritualization Jutsu interests him even more than the legendary Flying Raijin. While Flying Raijin is undoubtedly a better Jutsu, the requirements of learning it are also far more stringent compared to the Spiritualization Jutsu. Let's not talk about other things, he would need to develop a solid foundation of Fuinjutsu.

The current Sasuke doesn't have any method to develop a Fuinjutsu foundation without drawing too much attention to himself, therefore, he doesn't intend to waste his time and effort on things that he probably won't be able to learn without proper guidance. Besides, the direction in which Sasuke is trying to develop his skills, Spiritualization Jutsu is naturally a better choice for him.

'Hopefully… the Scroll of Sealing will have Spiritualization Jutsu sealed inside it…' Although it is said that all Jutsu in Konohagakure are sealed inside the Scroll of Sealing, that's actually not true. Secret Clan Techniques are not stored inside that Scroll. Therefore, Sasuke is not sure whether the Spiritualization Jutsu is sealed inside it or not.

Since Katō Dan was the only person known to have ever used that Jutsu, so Sasuke doesn't know if anyone else is in possession of that Jutsu. Tsunade or Shizune because of their relationship with Katō Dan might be in possession of the Scroll of Spiritualization Jutsu, but that road is already closed off for him for the time being. Not only those two aren't present in Konoha at the moment, but even if they were present in Konoha, they wouldn't hand over a Rank-S Jutsu to an Uchiha boy that easily.

Therefore, Sasuke believes that the Scroll of Sealing is the only viable option for Sasuke to obtain and learn that Rank-S Jutsu.

As for the problem of obtaining the Scroll of Sealing, well, that's a hard problem to tackle. 

Just because a certain Nine-tail's Jinchuriki was able to steal the Scroll of Sealing doesn't mean Sasuke would be able to steal it as well. It's placed inside the Hokage Building where Anbus don't allow birds to shit. Sneaking into that place and stealing that scroll under a dozen Anbu's eyes is a real challenge. 

'Heh, I did master the Dustless Bewildering Covering for scenarios like these…' thought Sasuke with a smile. After five months of hard training, not only did he make significant progress in developing the Water Nature Transformation, but he also mastered Mū's version of Transparency Jutsu and believes that it would come in handy in stealing the Scroll of Sealing.

'Well, I still have ample time… it would be best to wait for the perfect opportunity to steal that Scroll…' thought Sasuke. Of course, just because he has developed an ability that would make it easier for him to steal that Scroll doesn't mean he is in a hurry to steal it. He plans to patiently wait for the perfect opportunity. Even if it takes a year or two for that opportunity to come by, he wouldn't mind, and while waiting, Sasuke can focus on the next set of Jutsus that he has set his sights on which are mainly Yamanaka Clan's mind fucking Jutsus.

Although the Yamanaka Clan's Jutsus aren't as powerful as the Spiritualization Jutsu, they can be very versatile, and they can be very useful too in various situations if Sasuke manages to combine those mind-controlling Jutsus with the power of his Sharingan–which he plans to do–to release them like Genjutsu with mere eye contact, he would be able to do things like mind rape and kill people with momentary eye contact.

And unlike Spiritualization Jutsu, Sasuke believes that obtaining the Yamanaka Clan's Jutsus would be relatively easier. No, it won't be through Ino, Sasuke doesn't think that the current her would be able to access those esoteric and complex mind-raping Jutsus of her Clan, even if she could access those Jutsus, Sasuke doesn't believe that she would be idiotic enough to hand them over to him. In fact, even if she could access them, Sasuke personally would never ask her. Rather than owing her a favor that he would need to repay in the future, Sasuke would much rather steal those Jutsus directly from the Yamanaka Compound. 

Stealing Jutsus from the Yamanaka Compound should be much easier than stealing from the Hokage Building, at least, he believes so, especially because the Yamanaka Clansmen are unlikely to have any method of detecting his Dustless Bewildering Covering.

After mastering the Dustless Bewildering Covering, Sasuke has become undetectable to anyone not in possession of a Dōjutsu.

'Stealing Yamanaka Clan's Jutsu from the Yamanaka Compound will also serve as an exercise/practice for me before I steal the Scroll of Sealing from the Hokage Building…'

Mid-night, Uchiha Sasuke's Apartment

'Shadow Clone Jutsu!'

Poof!

With a poof of white smoke, as Sasuke's Shadow Clone appeared in front of him, the two nodded to each other, after which the real Sasuke used the Ace up his sleeve, 'Dustless Bewildering Covering!'

The moment Sasuke used the Dustless Bewildering Covering, water vapor in the atmosphere surrounded him and started to bend the light.

Now essentially invisible, Sasuke questioned his Shadow Clone, "Is it working properly?"

The Shadow Clone Sasuke answered after a moment of observing the place where the original Sasuke was standing until a moment ago, "Mm-hmm… I can neither see you nor am I able to sense you properly… I'd say the Jutsu is working properly…"

"Perfect…" Satisfied by the response, Sasuke smiled, and instructed the Clone, "Alright then… Open the window…" It would be a bit odd if an invisible person were to open the window because there would be no one opening it in the eyes of others, therefore, Sasuke instructed his Shadow Clone to do that for him.

The Shadow Clone nodded, "Yeah…" then went on to open the Apartment Window and walked out to the balcony.

With the Window open, Sasuke also walked to the balcony and said to the Shadow Clone, "Well then… I will be on my way…" 

The Shadow Clone mumbled lightly, "Got it…"

With that, the original Sasuke jumped down from the balcony. 

No, he wasn't going to the Yamanaka Compound to steal the Yamanaka Clan's secret Jutsu, he would go there and do that within this month but not tonight. 

Tonight, Sasuke's destination is the desolate and lonely Uchiha Compound at the edge of Konohagakure, for tonight is the very same night the entire Uchiha Clan save for him was annihilated on the orders of higher-ups of Konoha.
