Chapter 32

'Don't want to die due to suffocation after trying so hard to become stronger '

Once he was done with all his preparations, he focused on his power where could currently feel quite a few accumulated powers just waiting to be absorbed and assimilated.

And so, with a deep breath to ready himself, Yuu chose to assimilate everything.

Immediately Yuu was afflicted with a large amount of pain strong enough to make him scream however he simply bit his lower lip hard enough to make it bleed, withstanding the horrendous pain afflicting him. 

The intense pain lasted for about 2 minutes which was then replaced by a slight sense of fatigue as Yuu's body relaxed itself after going through a tremendous enhancement.

His once Low level jonin physique had advanced all the way to high level jonin level and not an ordinary high level jonin physique rather the peak of high level jonin physique. His chakra on the other hand had broken through to elite jonin level.

Yuu, after being amazed at his newfound power and strength, spent a few more minutes getting acclimated to his current powers and after spending another 4 minutes imprinting and understanding all the different memories from his absorbed victims, he was finally ready to deal with the elite level jonin.

Within the combat area in the building, the elite jonin Daiche Kuniwa was observing the ongoing battle between his men and the Takkaki shinobi and after watching the battle for a while even he had to be impressed by the capabilities of the Takkaki shinobi. Despite being shinobi originating from a mere clan in the land of Waterfalls, they were still capable of holding their own against his men while also being outnumbered. This deserved some praise as had he not come along with the rest of the jonin combatants the Takkaki shinobi might have had a chance of winning however that wasn't the case and hence it didn't matter if the Takkaki shinobi could hold their own against his men because in the end they were only high level Jonin while he was an elite Jonin and not just an average elite Jonin but one standing at the Peak of the elite level.

He had been sent as an insurance by the Tsuchikage to deal with any unexpected problems however so far he hadn't encountered any issues. He hadn't yet received communication from the rest of the team however that must be because they were still busy dealing with the nobles within the large residence. At least that was his reasoning for their non-communication however even so at the back of his mind he had made a note to teach those ten subordinates of his on the importance of communication when they went back home after finishing their mission.

Just as Daiche Kuniwa began to prepare to end this charade, he suddenly sensed immense danger from everywhere yet the most confusing thing was that despite looking all around him with both chakra and his own eyes, he couldn't see a single thing that might cause him harm.

Daiche was about to warn his subordinates about what he had sensed when he suddenly saw them suddenly collapse on the ground screaming in pain.

It wasn't just his shinobi, even the Takkaki shinobi collapsed on the ground screaming in pain for a second or two before dying, their bodies blackened and charred. Daiche, who was wondering what the hell was happening, was suddenly hit with a massive wave of pain. He had once been hit by a fire style jutsu and hence he immediately knew the pain he was feeling. He felt like he was being burned alive yet the strangest thing was that despite his danger sense going into overdrive, he still didn't know what was happening to him. It was only in his last moments of life that the illusion covering his eyes wore off enabling him to see a massive earth dome surrounding the entire Takkaki main household. Within it was himself, the now dead subordinates and Takkaki shinobi, and a massive firestorm.

It was only now that he understood what had happened to him.

Yuu stood outside the massive earth dome, his posture bent and his genjutsu disabled. He was panting heavily as he had just used a lot of chakra in his last attack. He had first created a massive powerful dome using earth release after which he had cast a fire release creating a massive fire storm within the earth dome burning all the people inside the dome alive which was what Daiche and the rest of the shinobi fighting within the residence had experienced before perishing.

He had also concealed all this with his genjutsu which was why despite his instincts warning him, Daiche couldn't see the attack until it was too late.

There had been a Takkaki shinobi who managed to run away from the incoming concealed flames however he had been blocked by the invisible earth dome causing him to burn to death like the rest of them. Yuu had essentially killed them all using an invisible massive furnace. Creating and maintaining this furnace however had cost him a lot of chakra hence the panting and exhaustion however even so he had managed to kill a powerful elite jonin, 10 high level jonin and 7 powerful high level Takkaki jonin in this one massive attack so it was all worth it.

Yuu sensed multiple shinobi belonging to different forces present in Asaki heading to the now visible earth dome, his current location, and decided to quickly leave. And so with his remaining reserve of chakra, he cast his invisibility genjutsu on himself and left quickly. Soon he was back in his current rented room in an Inn near the Eastern end of the city where after ensuring he was not followed, quickly cleaned himself up and climbed into bed ready to rest.

While Yuu was resting, the entire city was currently in an uproar. At this point almost everyone had heard the sounds of battle originating from the Takkaki residence and hence almost everyone was up in anticipation of receiving news of yet another family's destruction, yet tonight's news turned out to be very different from what they had been expecting.

Soon it was revealed that not only were some of the Takkaki nobles still alive but also that the culprits behind the eradication of multiple land of Waterfalls nobles had also been killed. When asked who the culprit was, the surviving Takkaki nobles responded that it was an invisible ninja who had saved them. 

Multiple people were shocked by the Takkaki shinobi however when they tried to confirm the authenticity of their words with the surviving civilians, they were met with the same response, that a mysterious invisible ninja had killed all the intruders and saved them. It was then that the title 'Ghost of Asaki' was born.
