Andrew's POV:
The scene happened in front of me so fast. I wasn't there, the man behind the wheel wasn't me. It felt like I was watching through a portal.
The woman I was going to hit is still standing in the middle of the road cursing out loud, I do want to get out and apologise but I can't move or think straight.
"Are you okay?" Jess asks, with a low voice. Slowly shaking my arm.
"I guess" I answer, not really sure of it. Then it crosses my mind that I have to check on Jessica first of all.
I turn to look at her and she's staring at me already with concern in her eyes.
"I'm sorry for that, how are you?" I ask her, cupping her cheek with my hand and she nods yes.
"Okay. Now I'll drive, you can't drive while your hands are shaking" she says. With a pointed look.
I didn't notice that I am shaking, but I really am. I'm not quite sure if it's from the impact of the shock or the call I received. Maybe both.
