NO CHOICE

Adam open his eyes and saw unfamiliar ceiling. He get up and look at the sorrounding, He thought that he never enter this room before.

"Am I dead?" he blurt it out and looking every corner of the room.

Thrax then enter the room look worried, when he enter he saw Adam woke up. He feel joy and walk beside him.

"you fine?" Thrax ask.

"yes.. a bit pain but im okay" he replied.

Adam last remember was he is escaping the monster, he didn't actually remember the last part on how he lost conscious.

Thrax never said one word about how he faint, he just silent beside. He hesitate to tell on how he can have much that power.

"what's situation?" Adam ask.

"worse, or should I say catastrophic?" the girl interrupt thrax and reply to the question.

"uhmm who are you? adam forgot about her.

"hah excuse me first year. I'm just the one you choose to involved this mess" she replied.

"I.... I'm sorry and you are?" adam remember a bit of his memories.

"Marina...Marina Bay" Annoying saying her name.

"I'm Adam Beckon"

"I'm Thrax Code."

"I know who you are.... reckless first year."

Marina tell them that the sparring between them and the third year made a huge uproar to the entire academy.

"I..I see"

"So.....tell me why the hell that monster chasing you?" She ask.

Adam presume that the monster targeting because of the stone that he has. The two of them listen to the whole story.

"That monster chasing you because of the some stone? what is that stone anyway?" She ask.

"Chiron said it amethyst"

"The what?" Thrax and Marina same time ask adam.

"I dont know either...."

Adam tell them what why that stone are very special. Adam mostly tell them what chiron said to him except the mission that he has.

Adam thought that it may be dangerous to involve the two of them more.

Marina think that it make sense on why the monster is after adam but she also thought that the story is lack of something. Marina is not have much knowledge but have insanely sharp instinct.

"You.... haven't told everything" She look adam while have shiver in his shoulder.

"Tell us everything" intimidating adam to let him speak the whole truth.

"dont tell me... You piss a god?"

"WHATTT!!!!!!!" the both of them surprised.

Adam extremely deny of what she said. Marina keep pressuring adam while staring at him.

"Just tell us"

Adam look to Thrax, he give signal that to try to her but when adam look at him, Thrax wants to know the truth if he has.

They corner adam and didn't have a choice but to tell the both of them.

"okay!...." Adam tell them that he has a mission ongoing and needs to finish it before it's too late.

The two of them silent for a moment and Thrax tap his shoulder.

"Just tell us adam" Marina said.

The both didn't believe adam, they thought that he tell another lie just to escape from their pressure.

Adam give up and show the symbol of his wrist but the two of them didn't know what that symbol is.

"Are you a thug?.." Marina ask and started to disgust.

Adam annoyed to the both of them, he walk outside and go to the roof.

"Try not to fall!" she shouted.

Adam realize that he is somewhere in the city. He look to the view and have a fresh air. Thinking that why is it his life so hard. Marina then follow him to the roof, want to ask the same thing. Adam just keep his silent and look to the heavens. That night starting to bright with the help of the star.

"I dont know what's happening to you...I hope it will get fix." Marina said while looking to him. Adam look to her and said that he hope so.

The building that they stay in starting to move. They started to know if it is a earthquake but they realise that it's only their building. They run towards to Thrax and started to pack a important things up. Marina think that it is suspicious that they immediately found. Marina couldn't take anymore and stop, He grab the shirt of adam and look to him.

"just tell us the truth.."

Adam keep saying that ut is only the truth but they couldn't believe it. Adam come up an idea and hope it work.

He then grab his wrist where the symbol is but nothing happen, he then realized that it need some power to activate it. Then he put a power on his finger and a glowing paper show up. The both of them shock and couldn't believe of what they saw. The glowing paper fading and they both stare to adam. Continuing to pack thing but faster.

"let's get out of here." The three of them run fast to the stair finding the exit but the entrance of them building already devour by some unknown monster.

Marina tell then to run to the roof where the peak of the building. After that they wait.

"why?" Marina back to one floor and grab some bedsheets to a random room. she come back and give extra sheet that she brought to them.

"when the monster almost done to eat the building let's jump." the tree of them wait until the signal.

"Now!" they jump as far as they could and use the sheet to like parachute, of course it doesn't work well. They land little far from the monster.

"ouch!" they complain of what she thought of.

"atleast our bone did not break" Marina angrily to the two of them.

They started running and never look back to the building.

"what should we do" ask to adam.

"we will contact to chiron and get some help"

They go to the nearest telephone and call to the academy.The academy respond and immediately transfer to the Chiron's office.

Adam seek help and tell chiron of what happen. The phone ended and got out to the telephone booth.

"tell us... when they come?" Thrax think that the academy will help them but adam look to them with a worry face.

"the principal said..... we're on our own"
