A DETOUR

"Granted" She spoke very elegant with smooth voice like a parent love their children. Adam step back and bow to her.

"My apologies Goddess,I do not know until now." He then beg forgiveness because of the arrogance he showed.

Athena Nod and moving on what they gonna ask.

"So, you want my informer's help, right?" Marina and adam look at each other with a blank face, They thought the informer is Goddess Athena.

"We thought you are the informer?"

"oh...Chiron didn't tell you?

"he tell what?"

Athena explain that she saw Chiron rushing to zeus to seek help. She interfere Chiron by saying hi to him, Chiron Express his respect to her and quickly back to walk. Athena knew that it must be something, She then force to talk chiron until she know what happen.

"Interesting....Another student are taking a mission" She then tell Chiron not to tell zeus and she help them instead.

Chiron doubt that she will help freely but he doesn't have a choice. Back to the present, She told them what happened on why she will help them.

"Thank you for your mercy goddess" marina speak politely to athena, Adam awe of what he saw that time.

"so... what will be the cost?" Adam question athena. Adam knew that when in comes talking to a god, there is no free help to them. You must pay for what they did to you.

Marina use elbow to the stomach of adam causing him feel pain, she apologize on behalf of adam for his rudeness towards the goddess.

"So you knew....that's kinda surprising coming from a human." She smile looking to adam while they shock of what she said.

Adam trembling on his feet because of how athena know this secret while Marina confsued why athena said that.

"she didn't know? my bad" she laugh like it is a joke to her why adam risking his life trying to not leak his own secret.

"how...did you know" Adam ask for clarification, he thinks that chiron revealed his identity.

"come on..... I'm the goddess wisdom, you think you can hide it from me." She glow her eyes, an activation to her stamina. She then reveal she have the ability to know what's inside of your head and exact what your personality is.

Marina then stop talking. gave a silence to herself to figure it out what are they talking.

Adam then ask a question again of what she wants.

"Not that much.... just help me out a little" she said, the eyes of him filled with doubt and anxious of why she ask them.

"what's the price?" Adam question athena like she almost accepting the deal.

"If you say yes... I will give it to you."

Adam ask for help to marina but marina still froze because of what she heard. Holding her chin, feels the detective charm while thinking the last conversation.

Adam accepted and want to know what is the reward of her quest.

"the secret passage and location of Hephaestus." She then lean on the chair she sit then sip a bit on her tea. Adam hesitate to accept again but he have no choice but agree the offer.

Athena then grab Adam's wrist, chant for him and another symbol came out to his wrist below of the symbol. Glowing another yellow, adam knew that it is up to no good.

"what?.. it's yellow" he worried of what he gonna do when he know what the mission is. athena smile to him and comb her hair with her hand.

"what? if refuse now you're gonna regret."

"okay"

marina then bow to her and get out fast to her office, Adam follow her but athena call adam to wait.

"let me give you and marina a weapon for your survival" she walk on his left and lean, looking to a button which hide behind a book on display on her office. she press and saw an extraordinary tools and weapon on herself. She gave a unusual sphere shape to adam and a sword for marina. Adam felt jealous of what she give to marina, but then he ask to athena if there is a weapon suit for thrax who is outside of her sanctuary.

"I dont care of his son, I hate his father that's all" She said, Adam speechlessness and wants to leave right away.

"be careful adam even the oracle cannot understand you" adam looking her office while leaving, he left something is off to her as why she talk like that to him.

Adam regroup to them at the front and feels like he should explaining to them honestly.

"marina... I'm sorry, you too Thrax"

"Whats goin on? what's the informer said to you?" Thrax feel out of place for a moment, he didn't know yet the whole detail of the story inside the athena sanctuary.

"you better explain yourself adam"

Adam explain to them as why he enroll to the academy and why he keep that secret.

"chiron said I shouldn't let anyone know or else my life will be ruin or something.

The two of them look to adam with nothing but a mouth open and almost a fly going in to the mouth.

"So that's the story huh"

" unbelievable " Thrax wipe ng his drooling.

"what you aren't mad? the two of you?"

Marina slap adam to his right cheek. it was so loud that some of the people of the museum stop and look at them for a moment. Adam feel like a tooth is about to fall down. He touching the pain spot and look down infront of marina.

"I'm piss off for some reason."

"Thrax?"

"wow, I'm not mad, I'm little confuse but I still wanna follow you to the mission." he replied.

"now we ware far, I dont want to comeback with empty" Marina also follow.

Adam smile and realize that there's always a people who will accept you no matter who you are.

"you all ready?"

They then nod at each other and walk through outside of the museum.
