"You're still going to capture me if I reveal my identity to you, right?" Devon asked with his gaze on her
He was covering his head with his hood now, so there was no way she was going to be able to see his face.
He also made sure to make his voice sound deeper than it actually is as a voice disguise, the princess didn't know him but who knows when they may bump into each other someday.
"That would depend on why you are here." The princess replied.
"Hmmm, I guess we can't negotiate then."
As soon as he said that, he quickly pulled the red spear out from the wall and quickly threw it toward her.
"What?" She muttered with a shocked expression on her face before quickly shifting out of the way to avoid getting hit by the spear unaware that aiming for her was just a facade.
With her out of the way now, the spear was able to get to its true target, the tiara.
The spear went through the tiara and without hesitation, Devon gave the thin rope he was holding from his end a quick thug to knock the tiara toward him.
"When did you attach that rope?"
The anger of finding a stranger in her room was starting to dispel as she was quite amused by how fast he was able to do what he did, she didn't even see him move his arm after the spear hit the wall and his invisibility deactivated.
However, she knew she had to stop him and that was the reason why she quickly fired a small pebble of ice toward the tiara to knock it off to the side and away from him, but just before the tiara could hit the floor, he quickly dived toward it and caught it with his left hand.
He wasn't given the space to catch his breath after catching the tiara as a sword made completely out of ice quickly came slashing down on him.
"Oh, dear." He muttered abruptly.
There was a bookshelf just in front of his legs and he was quick enough to use it to give himself a push forward and completely avoid getting hit by that blade.
He was also glad he went in the right direction because the red spear he used to get the tiara off the chair was right behind him now.
The princess came charging toward him once again with her ice blade, but just before she could get to him, he hooked the tiara on his back and picked up the spear which he used to block the attack just at the right time.
"You know, I still don't understand how you are able to hold that."
"Huh? Was it supposed to burn my hand or something?" He asked with a confused expression on his face.
"Yes." She responded before she sent him tumbling back with a kick.
As soon as he crashed into the wall, he quickly got up on his feet because there was simply no time to act dull or he might lose his life.
"Well, it looks like things like that don't work for me, but here, you can have it back." He said before throwing it back to her.
"Huh?" She muttered with a confused expression on her face.

"Bye."
It didn't take her long to realize what was going on, but just before she could get to him, he was already gone with the tiara.
Ordinarily, she would have gone crazy after watching someone come into her room unannounced and steal her tiara but she was just curious about who this person could be.
"Invisibility and teleportation." She muttered as she slowly made her way to her bed. "And he can also touch my red magic weapon without any side effects."
She had a lot going on in her mind now, a lot of hypotheses that she was trying to make sense of as she slowly sat down on her bed while the red spear slowly turned into some kind of liquid and her body absorbed it.
"Who was that guy?"
All it took was a few seconds for Devon to find himself in his room, and now that he was in there, his breathing began to get heavier, it was like he was holding it all in when he was facing the princess.
"Oh, my goodness, I thought I was going to die." He gasped before crashing down on his bed.
[ Energy level: 0/100 ]
Those were his last energy points and it was all it took to get out of there.
With his breathing now getting under control, he slowly pulled the tiara out from where he hooked it and placed it on his chest.
"That was a deadly situation but I still got the job done." He muttered with a bright smile on his face.

It was a barrage of messages for him, but he was still able to carefully go through everything.
'New skill? It says swap but how is that supposed to work?' He pondered. 'I didn't get any description for the first two so I doubt I'll be getting any for this one.'
After going through all that in his mind, he slowly sat up on the bed with the tiara in his hand.
"So, let's try to activate it first."
[ No target locked on ]
[ 0/10 insufficient energy points ]
'So, I have to lock on to a target and it requires only ten energy points, interesting.'
[ Converting +10 normal Energy into energy points ]
[ Conversion process successful ]
'Okay, now let's lock on to something, I guess all I have to do is look at it.' He said subconsciously before turning his gaze to the book on top of the cupboard beside his bed.
[ Target locked on ]

As soon as that message popped up in front of his screen, the tiara quickly disappeared from his hand and what he was holding now was the brown book that was on top of the cupboard a few seconds ago, the tiara was the item on top of the cupboard now.
After witnessing that, his eyes slowly widened in amusement.
'This changes a lot of things.'
________ ________
Michael was still in the meeting room with Alvis, John, Aurora, and Krayan as he was making sure they were properly ready to move out.
The four of them were standing in front of him with their dark hoods and weapons waiting for that go order, but he had to make sure they had the plan down to every single detail.
"Alright everyone, I hope you all remember…."
"Don't even bother, Uncle."
That was Devon's voice from the door and they all had to quickly turn their gaze to him.
"What is it, Devon?" Michael asked.
For some reason, he didn't feel the need to yell at him like he usually would even after he interrupted him in the middle of something important.
"Devon," Aurora muttered before shooting him a quick gaze.
"Umm, the matter is what you're doing here is pointless." He replied as he slowly made his way to them.
"Hey, what are you on about?" John questioned.
"Let him speak, John," Michael ordered before turning his gaze back to his nephew. "What are you trying to say, Devon?"
"Here, why don't you see for yourself?" He replied before he quickly pulled out the tiara from his back and threw it to him.
"Devon." He muttered with a gasp as soon as he caught the tiara.
"Is that the same tiara we're supposed to get?" Aurora asked.
"Yeah," Michael replied with a nod and his shocked gaze still on Devon. "How did you get this?"
"Oh, I was just in the princess's room a few minutes ago."
