(Poem)
A deep slumber calls for me. It wants to take me under. To give me peace. Peace never surrendered.
A sudden sadness drowns me. The salt from the tears suffocating; pulling me deeper and deeper under. My heartbeat dilating.
My frame isn’t free. My body shudders in its clutch. The cold ocean of grief ever so overwhelming in its touch.
A crimson anger consumes me. The ocean turned to rain. The grief begins to boil; burning away the shame.
A wild hunt begins. A monster begins its prowl. A hatred now consumes me.
The rain now turned to steam. A monster now…. no longer a dream.
