Reunion

Large, thick, heavy boots walk in succession. Two gray bands wrapped around the top. The boots stretching up to the knees. The man's steps echoed confidence.

"The middle Class town..." The man's voice booms with calmness and serenity. His back wide with muscles hidden behind a massive weapon scabbard.

"T's been a while since I've been here..." Sounds of fair games radiate as festival foods can be smelt. Small kids run around with small balloons. Shop venders giving out food. The bright sun shining above. The sky a beautiful blue with perfect clouds. Carriages pass by the man as citizens watch in surprise.

"I can't believe it's actually him... Head Commander at the new Court of Appeals building...! What's he doing here?" Another person looks at them.

"I don't know, but I heard some incredible people will be participating in this year's tournament... Maybe he's one of them...?" The man's short brown hair blows softly in the wind. He stops walking in front of a relatively new Ramen shop.

"I'm sure this is the place... Can't believe that guy from a few years ago grew his business... He now has a second location... I'm happy for him..." The man walks into the shop. The owner walking from behind the counter in absolute shock. His eyes widen as he recognizes the man.

"S-sir... No way it's actually you...!" The man smiles. His dark blue eyes looking down at the man.

"Yup... How's your mom doing these days...?" The store manager kneels down.

"She's recovering from the Surgery... All thanks to you... Sir Frederic... How could I ever repay you" Frederic leans down and hugs the man.

"All I ask is that you spread happiness and the word of our lord... I didn't heal your mom... He did..." Frederic breaks the hug. Standing at his full height of 6"4'.

"Great, I'd like a large portion of Ramen, kay'?... And add two more bowls on that for me will ya?" The store manager smiles and nods as he walks off. Frederic smiles as he turns and walks out to the outside tables. He takes a seat at one of the tables looking straight out at the Colosseum.

"Jeez... What has it been... 4 almost 5 years...?... Crazy... When will they arrive-" suddenly someone appears beside him.

"Hey... Frederic... It's been a while... Hasn't it?" Frederic looks up with a smile.

"Kiyoko...!? Hey!" Frederic jumps up and hugs Kiyoko. Kiyoko quickly pushes him away slightly embarrassed. Frederic grabbing Kiyoko's shoulders.

"You've got some muscle! You aren't skinny anymore!" Kiyoko backs away a bit as he nervously chuckles. He was still wearing the red leather robe which was now falling apart. under it was a black V-neck shirt. His long sword sheathed at his waist. His white hair now stretches down his whole back. His scar almost invisible now.

"I-i could say the same... For you..." Frederic laughs loudly. He quickly turns a bit.

"You like a Dorito... Bro" Frederic smirks confidently as he lifts his fist. Oji fist bumping him. Oji wore a simple armour. A large red robe with white fur on the edges. Galliun stands behind him. Towering over all three of them. His hair cut short. His red eyes fully on show. Two large swords on his back. Kiyoko running up and hugging Galliun.

"I haven't seen you in 4 years Galliun, Im glad your alive" Galliun exhales and breaks the hug.

"My back still is missing a few pieces... But... That won't stop me..." Kiyoko turns to look at Frederic and Oji.

"So what have you all been doing since we went our separate ways 4 years ago?" Frederic takes a deep breath.

"I've been busy working my way up... Non stop as a part of a special forces team... And I was recently appointed as the head bodyguard for the Court judge... So they gave me a break before I start with my new role..." Frederic looks at Oji.

"What...?... I'm literally the King of the low Class... What else is there to say?" There was an awkward silence as Oji and Frederic look at Kiyoko.

"What...?... Oh... The Queen sent me on a mission 4 years ago... And I just got back... So" the three look on in shock. Frederic exhales.

"What exactly... WAS the mission...?" Kiyoko takes a deep breath. Whispering to them.

"The Dark continent... It's a series of islands that is filled with radiation and cursed energy... Mainly as it's where the Demons were sealed a few thousand years ago... They sent me as the new chief of Exploration to check out a rise in radiation... Which is probably why we had to fight demon after demon during the war against Haineil" there was an awkward silence as a more people arrive at the Festival.

"Well... Um... Seems as though the Colosseum rambler will be starting soon... We should get going..." Oji gulps.

"Yeah... Let's..."
