Rank 7: Mammon

Sergio opens his eyes. Slightly dizzy from the teleport. He rubs his head as Beth leans against the wall to the tunnel.

"Beth…? Guess I'm fighting alongside you this time" Beth slowly nods as she tilts her head to a light from the tunnel.

"I've already looked… We're in a colosseum-like building… Filled to the brim with low rank demons… and waiting in the middle is i'm guessing one of the Ranked Demons we're here to fight'' Sergio slowly stands to his feet as he walks over to Beth.

"I'm Ready to go when you are Beth… Take your time" Beth takes a deep breath. She lifts her hand as a ball of water forms.

"Let's create a surprise attack" Sergio nods as he slams his fists against each other.

"Right"

The demon smiles maniacally. The Low rank demons cheer loudly as he lifts his fist. Several large gold rings on his fingers. Tattoos across his body as he smiles maniacally. He had purple gloves of fur. One massive eye and one horn on top of his head.

"Today!!... Is a day of celebration!!... Today!!... We have guests from the Humans Realm to help us celebrate with some of our favorite games!!..." The crowd of demons cheer in ecstasy as the demon continues.

"I encourage you to Make your bets now!... Will we have another defeat… OR WILL WE FEAST!?" The crowd goes crazy as Beth jumps out from the tunnel.

"Water Maho: Tsunami blast!!" She throws a high pressure beam of water at the demon. The water goes as he spits out water. His hair now a mess as he glares at her.

"Was that supposed to be a surprise attack?" Fear overcomes Beth as the Tall, Fat Demon towers over her.

"Shadow Maho: Dark King's Fist!" Sergio appears behind the Demon and attempts to punch him. The Demon grabs Sergio's fist like it's nothing. Sergio in disbelief as he's thrown against the Colosseum wall. Beth running over.

"Introducing today's Competitors!... I'm your Host: Rank 7 Mammon… Let the games begin!!" Beth helps Sergio up as Mammon smirks.

"Let's play some games shall we?... I bet you won't survive past the 2nd Game!" The crowd of demons goes crazy as Mammon stands.

"The first game… Last Rabbit standing!!" Several Demons pour into the arena; at least 10.

"The goal of this game…? Only two people will survive this battle to the death!... Let the Last Rabbit standing win!!" all of the Demons bolt towards Beth and Sergio. Sergio jumps forward holding out his hands.

"Let's split the prize Beth! You get five, I get five!" Beth nods as a long black blade forms in Sergio's hand.

"Dark blade!" Sergio runs in front of a Demon and slamming his foot on the ground. Jumping over the head of it and spinning in the air behind it. Slicing it's head off. Another demon tries to punch him as Sergio dodges. Using his Shadow sword to slice it's arm off.

"WRAA!!" Another demon hits Sergio slamming him into the wall. Sergio lands on the ground and smirks.

"Got ya right where I wanted ya" Sergio swings his blade horizontally in a fast swooping motion.

"Shadow wave" a blade of shadow flies through the air slicing all three of them in half. Sergio jumps forward and slices one of their heads off. Kicking off of the body and slicing the head off another. Jumping up and jabbing the blade through the third demon's neck. The fifth demon runs maniacally towards Sergio who easily slices off the demon's neck.

"Easy as Pie"

Beth slides back and uses her water to create a shield.

"Water spear!" She jabs a spear of water through the Demon's neck going through another demon's face.

"That's three…" The remaining two scream and rush towards them as Sergio slices both of them in one attack. His Shadow blade disappearing. All the Demon's had been defeated. The large Demon named Mammon started clapping.

"Congrats on the flawless victory to you puny humans… Makes me wanna eat you all the more" Sergio coughs slightly as he leans on Beth. The bodies slowly decayed.

"Let's move on to the final match… And the Most fun, honestly… Make your Bets now!! I say these puny humans may be strong… But they will Die under the hands of Nyctophilia!" The crowd of demons go crazy as all the lights shut off. The only light being the demon's glowing eyes. A large rumble shakes the Colosseum as Beth clings to Sergio.

"Think the darkness will stop me… The darkness is my best friend!" A large creature appears in front of them. Beth can barely see anything as Sergio is unfazed by the lack of light.

"This is Nyctophilia, The physical manifestation of the Fear of the dark! You either die here, or Nyctophilia loses… And he's never lost!!" The creature was skinny with spikes down its back. Long, pointy, black hair with glaring red eyes. Long claws on skinny bony hands. Dried blood covering a large portion of its creepily scaled face. A sharp creepy smile Permanently marked on the demon's face as it glares at Sergio and Beth through the darkness with its red eyes.

"We'll destroy you filthy demons" Sergio appears beside the demon as it turns to screech at him. Sergio gets blasted away into the ceiling as several large cannon blasters form on the back. Its sharp teeth smile in an inhumane way as beams of pure black energy erupt from the cannons. Sergio lifts his hands to block the beam. A Shield of Shadow forming and blocking it. Sergio seemingly disappearing from sight.

"Elemental Dive: Shadow Kingdoms reign!" Sergio appears in front of the Demon. His fist drawn back. The Demon hits Sergio but he dissipates like an illusion. Nyctophilia quickly glances around as Sergio reappears. Nyctophilia attacks again and again but they're all illusions.

"Omni directional Shadow brigade!" upwards of 8 clones of Sergio jump out from the shadows all punching Nyctophilia simultaneously. Smoke explodes as all the lights turn back on. Beth quickly looks around in shock as Neither of them are visible. Smoke explodes again as an unconscious Nyctophilia falls to the ground. Sergio landed on the ground covered in an assassin-like cloak of pure shadows.

"I'm getting tired of your games…" Beth steps forward as water circles around her forearms.

"I can help you now that I can see!" the ground shakes violently as water explodes from underneath her. A massive beam of water shooting to the roof creating rain.

"Elemental Dive!" a massive dome of water surrounds the three of them. Keeping anyone outside from coming in.

"Sea Dragon's Lair" she glares up at Mammon who is disgusted. Beth and Sergio appear on opposite sides of Mammon in preparation to launch a counter attack. Mammon lifts his hands as two Demons appear in their way. Beth slashes through the demon as Sergio punches through it. Mammon glares at them as they go flying back. Hundreds of demons exploding out of the decaying bodies they just defeated.

"Gross!" Beth jumps forward, punching one of the Demons. Spinning around and kicking another. Using the momentum to knee another in the chin. Using the body as a launch pad into the air.

"Tsu… NAMI!" she thrusts her hands straight down as a massive wall of water fills the arena. Causing the remaining Demon's to drown. Beth looked over at Sergio who was seemingly unconscious.

"Do I HAVE to do everything here!?" Beth bolts straight towards Mammon screaming as he catches her out of the air and dragging her face along the ground. She shoots a beam of water at the ground launching her into the air. Holding out her hand as a sword of water forms in it.

"Water Blade!" She swings it as Mammon is unfazed. Beth's eyes widen in shock as he smacks her into the ground.

"We can't… Win…" Beth's eyes go dark as she lays on the ground unconscious. The location where Sergio's body once laid, his body can no longer be found.
