For one, he was happy and relieved it wasn't Catherine— yet.
But Farris was right.
They were right where they began. He couldn't even think of a single thing to match the incidents too.
Whosoever was playing them, they were doing it professionally well.
Too well that none of them could guess who or what it was.
He knew he had promised he would be the first to find Rune's cure. It was a way to redeem himself. Not just in his eyes but also in the eyes of the others.
It would be hard but he would definitely do it. More than anybody else in the house, he would be the most vigilant during these times.
The silence that prevailed in Farris's words was broken by Amadio.
"The hole in my garden. Can you take me to it?" he was asking Vidal.
Calliope chose to tackle the man over such a trivial matter. "It is not your garden Amadio. It is our garden" she said.
"I care for the plants, you don't" Amadio simply replied to her evenly.
