_ The two parts of Ink

Asher smiled back at Catherine, admiring her beauty and confidence even if there was something about her that made him cringe.

Hand in hand, they took the lift down to a certain floor which Asher was sure was the second floor.

The moment the elevator pinged and they stepped outside, the sudden bustling activities going on on that floor sent Asher's mind in confusion.

Just how had the tranquility that reigned in the top floors of the building taken a contrasting turn the moment they stepped out of the lift?

However, he wasn't so fazed. Catherine had mentioned Ink was more than what it appeared. It was segmented into two different parts. One was the outside one with all the noises and the chemical stench in the air.

The one in which they were treading now.

The other was the quieter one which they just exited. The one filled with the stench of drugs and hospital. Also filled with the clicking of keyboards by the tech crew.
