His feet weren't lifeless as though they weren't a part of his body, unlike their usual numb self since the time of his accident.
His knees weren't wobbling and and hurting like the pillars of hell when he tried to move.
Worst, he could place his feet on the ground now. As firm as the tread of lions and it seemed as right as rain to him.
Was it even nice for him to term that worst?

The best thing that could ever happen to him right now did happen but he could not comprehend how or why it did.
"LSR, you can walk now man!" Duncan shrieked like a girl.
Yikes, he would never get used to Duncan's girlish shriekings.
Kate slid off from under his armpit where she stood before to help him up because of his injured leg.
"I can't believe you deceived us and acted like you were injured!" she hollered, kicking his wheelchair in annoyance.
"Ouch" she further groaned as the metals used in making the wheelchair retaliated without making a move.
