Facing The Giant (Finale)
Regius sent a thought to the blade in his hand and the rainbow lotus bloomed as the petals disconnected and floated up the handle before popping out as a runic circle that slid along the entire Katana as Regius used the first spell he had created with all of his new knowledge. The lotus in the handle was a renewable collection of runic circles that would recharge as he channeled mana into it. Each petal was in fact a means to make the blade sharper and sturdier while also reinforcing its structure but the thing was that each of these runic circles were the pinnacle of creation and life runes the power of using that on a construct of pure mana had triggered a fusion that made Regius feel like he was holding an entire sun in his hand as the blade changed.
