Myriad Islands
"Is this world made of small Islands or are there bigger ones?" Elias Gobarau wants nothing but a normal life with his wife. Unfortunately, unforeseen forces have other plans for him as he was swallowed by space and found himself in a world of iceans filled with Islands. ***** Myriad Island is a world where intelligence, strength, fate, luck and even destiny means nothing. The only thing that can keep a sentient being sane was clinging to an ever-abstract concept known as Hope. Refusing to understand what happened to the woman that fell below and was then thrown back to the Ladder, Lolwah concentrated on her Ladder.
After a careful look, she faintly saw a writing on the Plank Stair that repaired itself. It was the Plank that broke when she took a step on it!
She squatted, making sure her hand held the rope firmly and then she observed the Symbols.
While she was trying to make sense of it, she heard the other woman scream several times while falling, then she was thrown back on her Ladder. Gradually, the woman moved forward, until Lolwah couldn't see her!
At that time she realized something out of the norm, there was always an urge to move but despite her being here for hours she wasn't bothered by it. But taking her mind off the Symbol she was trying to identify, returned the urge with force and she stepped on the Plank without knowing.
