The shadowy figure shook its head and said, "Not afraid, merely concerned. Do you really wish to know who I serve? They have a reason to be wary of you. You hold the key to destroying the rule of this realm."
Tristan nodded. "If I wanted to kill someone, wouldn't I just go ahead and kill them? But it's satisfying knowing their name and what lives they lived before taking that final breath. It gives me the power to do whatever I want to them. I don't need some asshole telling me to stay away from them."
He thought about it, 'but I guess they're right.'
"I'm going to assume you're talking about the people who are responsible for me being here, the ones that gave me the ability to play this game. And that they're watching everything I do," Tristan said.
The figure nodded slowly.
"Enough small talk; what is the challenge of this dungeon?" Tristan demanded, frustrated.
