Chapter 06: This is actually better than the New Year

Finally, it was the one for Li Yun, the OP wannabe, it was an incredible weapon that the first Immortal himself held in his journey to the peak, it was a stic... no a staff that was silver in color with beautiful runes engraved on it like twisting Dragons; being chosen by such an historical weapon, what an honor!
As for the two last slots, one was the always must be here golden prize while the other was a mystery box; what a generous system, there was no thank you for the participation. The golden prize was something any person would earn for, it was: 'money', to be more precise a huge amount of system currency that could be used in the system shop, the greatest reward indeed.

In another place in the continent to the far north, the cultivation world's undercurrent was brewing. It was the Dark Miasma region, considered to be one of the 4 forbidden grounds that was feared by all cultivator in the continent. It was gloomy all year around and the feeling of decay was prominent.
But this place that seemed to be forsaken by the world was inhabited by ferocious evil being, they were the feared Evil cultivators! Every single one of them were atrocious criminal whose name were on the Wanted list. This list was produced by the Cultivator Society where most of the cultivators in the continent were registered it was led by the Ten Great Cultivators, the Wanted list was the list of being considered to be a threat to the whole continent.
Inside the miasma, there was a city surrounded by a cliff, it was a renowned city in ancient time but no one living inside was a story nerd who cared about that.
The city was still in a good shape, but with the Evil cultivators that attacked each other just because of a wrong look, it made it seems very chaotic.
In the middle of the city was a huge palace made of jade, it was hung high on a hill. In a dark study room inside, a black robed evil cultivator was talking about something in a very deferential manner:

His interlocutor was seated on a simple chair, he was a man in his thirties wearing a dark grey robe, he had an amiable round face that would make one let your guard down even though he wasn't smiling, but the Evil cultivator in black rob was showing deep fear looking at him; it was no wonder why though; this man was the unofficial ruler of this region, he was the Great Evil cultivator: Devil God Wang Dafei!
His name wasn't registered in the list of experts like most of the evil cultivators, but the bounty on his head was second on the Wanted list.
"Li Cheng, oh Li Cheng, look like I 've underestimated you."
After saying that with a sneer, Wang Dafei looked at the man coldly, he saw that this guys still had something to say. The man was sweating profusely, he really didn't want to be the one announcing this but he could only brace himself:
"I've heard a rumor…"
"Rumor?"

The air around became extremely suffocating in an instant; as the man feared, it provoked a huge disaster, was he about to die today?
Outside, dark cloud assembled in the sky, thunder roared and red lightning flashed, this was the signs that the boss was angry. The evil cultivators that were fighting until now dispersed in a flash, the city became so calm even ghosts wouldn't dare walk around, then came the shouting as the thunder fell on the city:
