Seeing the mana attribute, Abraham decided to ask the system.
"Now how is mana going to affect my body, do you have any idea?"
"Nope. I did dive into magic, more specifically magic circle, but I have no idea about mana. My theory is that mana is a form of energy used to perform magic. But more than that, it is a mystery." responded the ai system.
There was only one way to test it.
[-1 free attribute point]
[+1 mana]
As Abraham focused his mind on adding the first point to his mana, he felt a new type of energy entering his body. The energy was being drawn from the outside.
It felt similar to the sensation he experienced when he first learned to control his Qi. It felt eerily similar, yet distinctly different. Like two sides of the same coin, the Qi and mana complemented each other perfectly, and yet, each one had its unique traits that couldn't be replicated. Compare to Qi, mana felt more malleable and more focused on external attacks instead of strengthening the body.
Abraham continued to add the points into mana.

This was the last free point available. Looking at his stats, Abraham saw the updated one.

With each subsequent point added to his mana, Abraham felt the energy growing stronger and more refined. He could feel his control over the mana increasing, and he knew that with practice he could learn to channel this power into spells. It was an exciting prospect, and he couldn't wait to see what new abilities he would unlock with his newfound mana.
But there was just one problem. Even in the original book, spells or using mana were not explained, so Abraham will have to proceed on his own. His only clue was how his ancestor, Ray Talen used mana.
Abraham also had to experiment to see if his mana was that of a dragon or if he could use it like how human mages had used it in the distant past.
Deciding to spend another time fully on mana, Abraham switched to the last change.
The soul room.
Just like the previous time, Abraham used the 4th stage of Qi to feel his soul, and just before activating his Qi soul weapon, Abraham cut the feeling and he found himself in the soul room.
As Abraham stepped into his soul room, he immediately noticed a significant change. The once modestly sized white room had undergone an expansion, easily doubling or perhaps even tripling in size. The floor had a bright white glow to them, giving the room a peaceful and serene feel. The room did not consist of any wall or ceiling, only a white floor. Beyond the edge of the floor, there was complete darkness, as if the room simply ceased to exist.
In front of Abraham, a white altar stood, exuding a calming energy that filled the entire room. The altar's surface was polished and gleamed with radiant light. It was the same altar that consisted of his flames.
Abraham stood before the altar, gazing at the four flames that burned brightly before him. Each flame had a distinct color and energy.
The first flame was a vibrant green, representing the Qi energy. Its flame was gentle and steady even though it was the biggest among all flames. Abraham had started Qi training since his birth, so it was no surprise that he was more proficient in it. Apart from the size, there was another substantial difference. There was just one green flame, but it look as if it represent both the Qi and Mana as the flame looked to be alternating between two green colors.
The second flame was a vibrant red, representing the vampire's energy. As Abraham has evolved from a normal vampire to a vampire noble, the corresponding flame has also increased a lot.
The third flame was a deep shade of purple, representing the shadow energy. The flame was twisting. But unlike the rest of the flame, it has been stuck the same as Abraham did not have any chance to level the shadow ability.
The last flame was a brownish red, representing the dragon's energy. Its flame roared and crackled, emitting a fierce heat that threatened to consume everything in its path. The energy of the dragon was powerful and intense, and Abraham could feel its raw strength emanating from the flame. Unlike in the past, the flame was active. Even though it was smaller in size compared to the others, the flame was dominant over all the others.
As Abraham stood before the altar, he could feel the energy of each flame pulsing through his body, filling him with a sense of power and purpose. He knew that each flame represented a different aspect of his being, and he was determined to master them all.
This time, seeing all the space around, Abraham decided to explore the soul space and looked around.
Abraham walked around the altar and noticed something peculiar behind it. There was a book floating in midair, surrounded by a spherical translucent shield. From his initial position, the book was well hidden by the altar. As he approached the book, he noticed some transparent pathway running on the floor going between the altar to the book. There were four in total, each source originating from each flame.
Curious, Abraham reached out to get a better view of the book, but as soon as his hand made contact with the shield, it block Abraham from further going near. He couldn't touch the book, but he could see the contents within the wall. The book's pages were filled with intricate symbols, glyphs, and diagrams that Abraham couldn't quite decipher.
But he remembers the cover extremely well. After all, this book has been part of him.
The Vampire book that gave him the system and power.
Abraham tried his best to view its content, yet it seemed as if Abraham did not have full access to it. After a few more tries, Abraham gave up and decided to explore the soul room more.
He walked and walked until he reached the end of the room.
Abraham stood at the edge of the white room, gazing out into the infinite darkness. As he stood there, he began to hear a faint noise, like a whisper on the edge of his hearing. He strained his ears, trying to make out what it was, but he could not get the source.
Yet it felt familiar like Abraham had heard it in the past.
