It has been two weeks since her father's death and although she sat indoors all week, mourning her father's death, she was treated well and well fed.

Alicia was happy she didn't have to see her every day and was patiently waiting for the day of the mating ceremony to arrive so she could have an upper hand over Emily.

"Emily." A knock came on her door as she finished dressing for the day. Dragging her feet, she walked towards the door and pulled it open to see Wesley who was standing there with a box in his hands.

"Good afternoon, Uncle Wesley." She said, mumbling gently. He reached out his hand, ruffling her hair gently.

"Hope you've been good?" Wesley asked with a raised brow and she nodded gently, looking down at the box in his hands. "Tomorrow is the mating ceremony and your birthday. You have to come out of your room and grace the occasion since it's also your 18th birthday and you'll get your wolf."
