Trucking Justice

"EVERYONE DOWN. YOU ARE UNDER ARREST," Sarah shouted, as she brought out a gun she had secretly hidden under her coat.

People turned towards her and then back to continue their previous discussion.

"I SAID. EVER… "but as Sarah was ready to shout once again, the air left her lungs as a familiar, for Mark at least, a sound filled the room.

Next, Sarah fell to the ground and started bleeding from the gunshot she had just received.

"Do you have something to say too, young man? "A person said, which Mark just now noticed.

That person came out of the shadow of the back area of the storehouse and had in his right hand a pistol that barely released some smoke from its last shot.

Mark raised his hand in a surrender pose as he started walking forward, as people appeared behind him with guns in hand. As he stepped nearer to the person who spoke to him, he was clear of the number of people in this building. Other than the person who shot Sarh, there were the four people around the table with the money and the drugs, and the two behind him with guns, bringing it to seven people.

"So you don't look like a cop, unlike that little bitch that takes her beauty sleep on the floor, "the person who shot Sarak said, as it seemed he was the person in charge here.

Mark didn't open his eyes or say anything, making it seem like he was too afraid to say anything. But the man didn't seem to like to be ignored as he put his free hand on one side of Mark's head and his gun on the other.

"Are you deaf? Maybe opening another hole in that head of yours will help you. "

Mark didn't mind his words as he prepared for his next move. He had to be fast, as Sarah needed help soon. He knew she wasn't dead yet, but unconscious; it wouldn't take long until she bled out and died.

As for why he was sure she wasn't dead, it was because he could feel the Energy of her body function at normal levels. After passing the fifties on his <Minor Energy Manipulation's> level, he noticed more precise the Energy that came from others. Since his <Minor Energy Manipulation> could control his SP, it was a type of Energy, and every person had it, but it differed from person to person.

Before reaching that level, Mark couldn't clearly detect it, but now he could and could 'see 'some other detail. The color was different per person, and it was something he couldn't change. Some had primary colors, but most had mixes of multiple in most times a chaotic way.

In Salah's case, her 'Energy Aura' was primarily red, with just some slim points of green and white here and there. But as time passed, the aura weakened, indicating that she was really in danger and he had to act fast.

Mark's lack of response still frustrated the man with the gun, as he was ready to say something, but something unexpected happened.

"You know that if you truck her, she will get healed up, don't you? "a robotic voice sounded from one of Mark's pockets.

"What is that? Who sent you?" the man said as he pressed his gun on Mark's head like he tried to remind the letter of its existence.

"I know. But we need permission first." Mark said, still with his eyes closed but with a tone that contained no fear.

"Permission? Isn't that the other human thing? We just do what we want, "Truck-kun said, with a tone that at least Mark knew contained some frustration. For anyone else, it would sound very neutral, though.

"I guess I liked that approach of his. But for now, let's deal with these small fries. "

As he said that and the man with the gun was ready to say something, Mark didn't let it as he started his plan. He snapped his fingers twice, and the lights in the storehouse went down. Because the people that followed him closed the door behind them, and there were no open windows, darkness filled the room.

Next, with great speed, Mark gripped the hand with the man's gun in front of him and turned it away from his head as he kicked the typical weak point of any man—- the nether region. He even surrounded his knee with Trucki to boost his attack but tried not to put too much force as he didn't want to kill them.

But a notification panel appeared, clear to see in Mark's eyes, even if he couldn't see anything else in the dark.

Mark had little time to check the notification and its rewards as he needed to deal with everyone quickly. However, even if he couldn't see anything with his eyes, he knew exactly where everyone was currently and what they did. That was because the building had a closed surveillance system, which he had easily hacked and could see through.

That was a trick he had played with a bit, as he could change his vision to see through things like cameras under his control. But he needed to have his eyes close for that, as it was too complex to keep track of both his actual sight and the sight of the camera at the same time. The cameras had a night vision function which he easily enabled, and he could quickly change through them to change everyone from different angles. Unfortunately, he couldn't check all of them simultaneously, as it was beyond what he could handle, at least for now.

First, Mark dealt with the following people that had some chance of being aware of the two behind him with the guns. He had already covered his fists with Trucki as he turned towards them, and before they got the chance to press the triggers of their guns that they had drawn, he punched them in the chest. Then, as the force of his punches contained power similar to being hit by a sledgehammer pushed them back, he gripped the tip of their guns and quickly took those from them, and their grip loosened by his surprise attack.

The gun was some small machine guns, and they had a strap cord on them, which would typically make it harder to disarm if they wore it. But it seemed like either they weren't as professional as he thought, or they were too confident about themselves.

Two more notifications appeared, but once more, he didn't take more time to read over them thoroughly, just the part where he defeated them. It did not surprise him he was one-shotting them, as they were average humans with no special protection, while he punched them with enough power to make a hole in a brick wall. He had felt some of their bones cracking on impact and even felt something else breaking in Xander's case.

Mark moved towards the table where the drugs and the money were and flipped it to reveal the four people that tried to hide under it. It seemed like they weren't the fighting type and didn't have any weapons, making it even easier for Mark to deal with them.

And so, not even five minutes passed since the light went off as Mark snapped his fingers and made them turn on again. As for the surveillance system, he just short circuit it, but not before making it delete everything that got recorded since he and Sarah entered the building and after.

Mark finally checked the notification that appeared over defeating these people, which ensured him that he was indeed victorious.

Mark could also feel that defeating those people had some other effect on him other than leveling up. Truck-kun told him that beating people like that would count over the challenges to unlock Skill. The number of people he could need to defeat would be double that if they trucked them. But he couldn't just get around trucking everyone, but 'breaking a few heads' was possible.

Not that he would actually break their heads, as it would kill them, and he didn't want to kill anyone, even scums like that. As for them, recognizing him when they woke up, he didn't worry for now, as he hid the most noticeable he had — his eyes.

He also had them closed because he needed them close to concentrate on his Skills, but it benefited him in both cases.
