My Transmigration Daily Life

My name is Jay Oaks and I live a normal life, or well 'lived' a normal life, until I passed away at the age of 24. After my death I awoke to a place that looked almost the same but without a bunch of machines doing the hard work, and instead people having the ability to lift cars with their mind, create fire out of thin air and even fly. And this begins my adventures in another world.

Day-3 You Call This a Light Exercise?!

Jay went to sleep after being shown the map and having seen the daggers get pulled out, It was late after all. In the morning Jay went out to the shack with Ace and he started his training. Ace had me go into the shadow of all sorts of things until I was exhausted. He then had me run two blocks and back before having me go into differently sized objects. Jay also did an assortment of push-ups, sit-ups and timed wall sits. Jay lost track of the amount of laps he had run and how many things he had shadowed.

"Hey Shade… Huff… how long have I been training?"

Jay asked at the beginning of a lap.

'You have sixteen thousand four-hundred twenty steps'

"How many?!"

'Here I'll just show you'

A small watch popped up on Jay's wrist glowing a light orange.

"Wait, you can do this?!"

'Yes since you've been training I became able to make small objects only for your eye'

"That's convenient I guess. Oh! Can you make solid objects too?"

'Eventually I will be able to make objects others can see'

"Hey! No slacking!"

Ace yelled from outside the shack.

"Yes, yes…"

Jay replied, starting to run again. Jay looked down at his watch and read what it said;

Steps- 16,420

Miles- 10.61

Height- 6ft

Heart rate- 86

"Wow eighty-six beats per minute just from running two blocks? How out of shape am I?! Wait no is eighty-six good? And Shade even knows my height?"

"Hurry it up! We don't have all day!"

Ace shouted to Jay who had slowed to a jog. Jay sprinted to Ace and they headed into the shack.

"What are we doing now? Push-ups?"

"Nope we're taking a break."

"Oh thank goodness I felt like I was about to die from all the running."

"Here's some water."

Ace handed a cold water bottle to Jay and sipped his own.

"Man, do I  have to exercise like this all six months?!"

"Hmm… What are you talking about? I went for a light exercise for your first training."

"Haha I guess people in this world are really different…"

Jay muttered looking away with hollow eyes.

"Did you say something?"

"Nothing!"

Jay turned back and smiled tiredly.

"Hey, are we done with training? Because I'm quite hungry."

"Yeah, just run another block and come back."

"Sigh… Okay…"

Jay left disappointed but quickly ran the lap before coming back inside the house.

"Perfect timing dinner is ready, Jay."

Jay and Ace got out bowls and served themselves some tomato soup and bread. They all sat at the table with the television turned onto some comedy show. They ate and watched the show while occasionally making small talk. They finished eating and went to their bedrooms to rest.

*Poof*

Jay jumped onto his bed and looked through the sunroof.

"It's always so pretty seeing the stars before I fall asleep."

Jay glanced to see if the watch was still there and it was. Jay turned back up to look at the sky and fell asleep.
