In the parking lot, Lin Qingya sat silently in her car, Qin Hai's gaze from just moments ago still lingering in her mind. It was somewhat cold, somewhat indifferent; she felt as if a wall had suddenly risen between her and Qin Hai, separating them into two different worlds. This change caught her off guard and was tough to get used to.

However difficult it was, she still had to adapt. After all, rejecting Qin Hai had been her own decision. Lin Qingya wasn't one to regret; once she had made up her mind, she had to stick to it.

With a soft sigh, Lin Qingya rubbed her temples; her head ached, certainly a result of not resting well the night before.

She took out a compact mirror and examined herself, noticing that even though she had covered up her dark circles with foundation, they were still visible upon closer inspection.

Indeed, no matter how good the makeup, it wasn't as effective as Qin Hai's massages. That was true.
