Karn calmly went away from the area where the car incident happened. Once he was sure that he was out of sight, he madly dashed for his home.

He immediately used his powers to cast a barrier outside the house. It was only after that he calmed down and took a deep breath.

His heart was beating violently in his chest. He was feeling the rush of adrenaline and fear. He nearly got exposed but before that he was nearly killed.

He drank some orange juice to calm his emotions and then started to think about the situation calmly. The situation should be like that, some villain threw the car to the Bat family that were swinging on the batrope.

The Car was thrown in his direction and since it didn't hit any of the bat family, it went towards him. The Batwoman should have warned him but since he was in deep thinking about his existence, he must have ignored her voice.

After that the car slammed on him but he was completely fine. He sort of knew why so explaining that is just a waste of words.

He was sure that she must have seen his face.

"Aahh~ I should have wore a mask while shopping."

"Huh? Shopping? My groceries~ "

"Why? Why? Why must it happen to me? Why am I here... just to suffer."

"Ok. Quite whining, let's buy another bag of it."

Karn stopped his whining and immediately went to buy the groceries again. He was like that. The only reason why he was not able to move on with the accident was because of his guilt and self loathing.

He went to buy groceries once again but this time he wore a mask.

While on his way to the grocery store, someone stopped him. It was a weird looking man.

The man asked while imitating the scene of a job that was done by mouth.

"I am straight! I don't provide those services."

Karn said.

"I am asking how much for the drugs. Forget it. Since you don't even know the sign you must be a patient then."

The man said and went away.

Karn was looking weirdly at the man. He was ready if the man turned back to attack him but the man went away quietly.

He chose to not think about the topic and went to buy the groceries.

During his way to the grocery store, he was stopped seven times, six times by the druggers and one time by the Cops.

After that, he chose to throw the mask away and went nude faced. Which was not different from from his usual face that he used everyday.

He brought three times the grocery that he previously bought. He bought some extra things and then went home.

It was around 3:45 pm when he reached his home. He looked at the clock and then set the timer for him to wake up. He was going to sleep.

Cadmus labs.

Batman and Superman were able to Save Supergirl from Darkseid once again. Now she was once again working as Supergirl.

In a closed down laboratory, a girl who looked exactly like Supergirl was floating inside a chemical filled tank. She was unconscious and was scanned by the machines around her.

The researchers and other doctors were going in and out of the room where the tank was.

"Dr. Hamilton, how much time would it take. It had already been a year since you started."

A certain handsome looking bald man said. He was the sponsor of this whole project.

"It will be completed in a few days. Three at most. After that we can start her training. "

Dr Emil Hamilton said to the bald man that was hiding his visage in the dark. Except it was of no use as most of the people can guess it anyway.

This was a part of the project cadmus and they made it to counter league.

The Founding league members along with Supergirl were hearing an audio recording of Brynhildr, the new villain, and his proclaimation that he will kill the Pentagon member and his story.

Flash : He must be doing it to get attention. Like come on~ guys, he can't be serious. We have already met with so many cosplayers and plagiarizers, this must be a new one.

Superman : Look at the satellite view of his attack before you say that.

Flash : What can he d– holy shit, how did he do that? That is so much cool, I mean so much devastation.

Batman : Currently we don't have any information on him except the ones that he gave us. I have checked the information and it matches with a person called Karn Jagannath. He came here from India and he was in all the locations that the killings happened. Our prime suspect is him.

Wonder woman : So he is in your city? What are you planning to do?

Cyborg : Are you trying to check whether he is right or wrong or just tailing him?

Superman : Should I come with you? You have seen his strength, he might become a danger.

Batman : You don't need to. I just wanted to confirm the fact about his so called group of friends.

Flash : Do you really believe it? He could just be faking it.

Batman : His personality, he is faking it but he is definitely not faking it when he shows his pure disgust towards the humanity. He must have been repulsed by something to hate humanity that much but I didn't find anything in his life that could make him hate it.

Still Batman : I just want to know what is he hiding and how was he able to attain that power. It could be a ploy of Darkseid as his tech was a lot similar to the nano suit of Cyborg Superman.

Superman : You mean to say that it was Darkseid that gave him his powers due to something or is it a different understanding.

Batman : Who knows. I am going to investigate him now. You guys do your work.

Batman left after saying this.

Superman : Should we go to help him? This Brynhildr person is strong. He may need our help.

Cyborg : I am going then. I am the best for this job. If he uses tech, then I would be able to sense him anyway.

Superman and Wonder woman : Ok, but immediately inform us if trouble occurs.

Cyborg : I will.

Superman : Why are you stopping me from meeting that Brynhildr?

Wonder woman : We are just taking some necessary steps. If he was so sure that he can harm or kill you then he definitely would have prepared for you. You already know about your weakness. A piece of kryptonite is enough to make you a punching bag.
