Chapter XXXII: Auld Acquaintance.

Last Time.

"A shutdown phrase?" she interrupted, surprising both Donna and Naruto. "Yeah, Cadmus was saving that short leash for the clones that they were planning to put to use. That's what happens when you only get a fifty-fifty chance of being chosen. One's given a chance at life... The other ends up waiting to take that chance herself." she says in an angry tone.

Donna and Naruto could only look on with a sorrowful look as Fury turned around. "Megaera... If you ever need your mother or I.. Please, don't hesitate to ask."

Fury said nothing as she flew away after Lex, who was flying in the helicopter with Queen Bee, escaped.

The Watchtower; December 30, 23:46 EST.

Batman was going through information about the chips as they came up on the holo-screen. "Not joining the party?"

Red Arrow asked walking in before putting a chip on the back of Batman's neck. It sunk in, and Batman's eyes widened for a second before he and Red Arrow walked out to the main entrance where the other Members stood at attention facing each other in two groups.

As Batman and Red Arrow passed each line, the Members turned to face the tunnel as Batman typed on a holo-keyboard. "Override, Batman, 02."

The tunnel lit up as the computer spoke. "Recognized, Access Granted. Vandal Savage A05." Everyone minus Red Arrow, who shook his head, kneeled to Vandal who walked down the steps.

"I... I was the mole?" Red Arrow asked as Vandal nodded.

"Yes... Yes, you were." Vandal replied walking to a window and watched the sun set behind Earth.

And missed Red Arrow run to the tunnel.

Now.

Washington DC; December 31, 00:16 EST.

Red Arrow ran down the subway track as Aquaman, Green Arrow, and the Flash were chasing him. An arrow cuts his cheek before another lands by his feet.

BOOM!

Red Arrow flew back several feet before arming his bow. Flash jumped through the smoke and punched Red Arrow just as he let go of his bowstring. Aquaman walked over as Red Arrow hit him with his bow, breaking it. He was then punched towards a manhole just as a train went by them.

Mount Justice December 31, 07:16 EST.

Kage, with his hood down, stood in front of the Team as Batman and Red Tornado brought up a holo-screen. They brought up an image of Red Arrow and explained that he was not only the mole but was also actually a clone created by Cadmus shortly after the real Roy Harper became Green Arrow's protege three years ago.

"Well, that certainly explains why he was such a douche," Naruto said as Batman continued explaining that Red Arrow was programmed to do whatever he could to get into the Justice League.

"It's why he was angry back in July, and wouldn't join the Team. And he never knew that he was a clone or a mole." Batman finished before turning to them.

"We were able to stop him from taking control of the League." Red Tornado nodded before continuing after. "Savage was subdued, but Red Arrow escaped."

Naruto nodded before turning around. "OK Team. We'll start looking for him around-!"

"No... This is a League problem. Technically speaking, Red Arrow was an official member. Leave him to us." Batman said as he interrupted Kage. "I'm needed on the Watchtower. Red Tornado, stay with the kids."

Naruto narrowed his eyes before turning back to talk to the Team as Red Tornado walked toward him. Naruto suddenly turned around and grabbed Red just as he lifted an arm, and shuts down. "I told you something was wrong Kit," Kurama said walking in.

"Yeah, and he's holding a chip... I guess that's why I felt something off... Oh no. The League is being controlled!" Naruto said as Zatanna looked up to Red's room as the others looked at Red's body.

Later, the Team minus Artemis, Miss Martian Aqualad, Superboy, and Spoiler was downloading Red's consciousness into his other body as the tunnel lit up. "Recognized: Black Canary, 13."

"Hey guys, I just wanted to stop by, see how you're all handling- What are you doing to Red?!" Canary asked as Kid raised his hands.

"It's not what it loo-!"

He stopped as a black rope wrapped around Canary, and a metal band was wrapped around her mouth. "Real glad Batman has the member's weaknesses on file," Naruto said walking to Canary. "Sorry, honey."

He knocked the struggling Canary out before Mary spoke up. "Weaknesses?"

Naruto nodded before turning around. "Yeah. Batman thought something like this would happen. So... He has contingency plans in place that make use of the weakness of all the members of the Justice League."

Blackfire raised an eyebrow before crossing her arms. "Even you?"

"Yeah. I gave him seals that'll disrupt my chakra, as well as Kurama's." Naruto walked to Sphere which turned into her Cycle mode.

"And what about Batman himself?" Zatanna asked as Red sat up.

"The Justice League is Batman's weakness," Naruto said before the others ran over with both of Red Tornado's bodies just as the tunnel lit up again.

Outside, Red explained what really happened on the Watchtower, and to go after the others, using the Super Cycle to mask their signals.

Later, after regrouping with the others, Red Arrow was explaining that he escaped as Savage was basking in his victory within the Watchtower, and he was on the run ever since after his programming wore off before Naruto, and the others floated up, missing Canary opening her eyes, and glared.

The Watchtower; December 31, 23:16 EST.

"Alright Team. Split up, and go after each member when they're alone, and take them by surprise. Since they're being controlled. I think they won't be at full strength." Kage said through the link as he stuck to the ceiling above Klarion with a red screen around him showing each member that's being controlled, and Savage.

Suddenly, Black Canary, Red Tornado, and Red Arrow came in and explained the Team was caught and is waiting for reprogramming. Savage just stared before Hal Jordan used his ring to capture them, and closed Canary's mouth.

"Starro-Tech does not reprogram the mind. It just lets us remote control the body."

Savage walked, explained his disdain for the Justice League, the reason for the Light, and making the chips as he put new ones on the Heroes, who stopped struggling, and stood at attention once Green Lantern lets them go.

Suddenly Naruto dropped down and hits Savage with a Rasengan (Spiraling Sphere) to the midsection. He quickly appeared behind Green Lantern as Kurama dropped down in a clone of Naruto's. This clone now has wilder hair, darker whiskers, and larger canines sticking out from his top lip. Kurama put another chip on Lantern having him fall into unconsciousness.

Boom!

A Boom Tube opened up having Superman, Martian Manhunter, Batman, John Stewart, Wonder Woman, and Hawkwoman come out. Green Lantern wrapped Tornado in a bind, and both Superman and Wonder Woman ripped his arms and legs off as Naruto jumped back, avoiding a swipe from Hawkwoman's mace.

Wonder Girl flew in and attacked her mother as she flew to a higher level. Naruto followed after them as Martian Manhunter, and Batman took out the others. Wonder Girl was thrown into a room Wonder Woman used to store weapons and grabbed a sword as Robin, Miss Martian, and Superboy took care of their mentors.

Wonder Woman grabbed the sword and kicked Wonder Girl away just as Superman grabbed Naruto from behind. He groaned as Superman started squeezing before hitting a button on the holo computer on his arm. A latch opened on his quiver, and a piece of kryptonite glowed green, having Superman fall to his knees before Robin puts a chip on his neck, and did the same to Batman as Superboy held him in place.

Naruto looked to see Wonder Woman lift her sword over a downed Wonder Girl before bringing his hand up. Wonder Girl groaned before looking up at her mother. Just as Wonder Woman brought the sword down, Wonder Girl's vision blurred.

Slink!

She blinked as she heard skin being cut, but didn't feel pain. Looking up, she saw no one before looking around and gasped. "DAD!"

Naruto struggled to hold Wonder Woman after using Kawarimi (Body Replacement) and took Wonder Woman's sword in his stomach. He groaned as she struggled, and dug deeper through his skin, creating a larger hole.

Naruto coughed up blood before grabbing Wonder Woman and applied a gogoplata hold on her. After a moment, she collapsed. "It might not be her weakness of overdoing it. But it (cough) worked." Naruto said coughing out more blood before lying down. A few minutes later, Wonder Girl flew to Naruto, and slowly pulled the sword out. "Ow, ow, ow! Donna! Just pull the damn thing out like a band-aid!" She did that and caused Naruto to groan loudly. She helped him up before red chakra covered him. "I'm good now. Thanks, baby girl."

He slowly walked to the others as Savage, and Klarion disappeared into a red portal. "Happy New Year Justice League." The computer spoke up as it played the New Years tune.

Wonder Girl walked to Superboy and kissed him as Starfire grabbed and kissed Robin. Kid Flash picked Spoiler up bridal style, pulled her mask down, and kissed her. "Should've done that long ago," he said to her.

"Yeah, you should have," she replied, happily.

Rocket kissed Aqualad's cheek as Naruto was pulled into a kiss by Artemis. He looked to see Miss Martian waiting for her turn behind Zatanna who was eager to get her chance at kissing him. Naruto smiled through the kiss and hugged her as Red Tornado spoke up. "Human customs still eludes me." Naruto chuckled before kissing Miss Martian and groped her ass behind her cape. Making her squeak during the kiss.

Naruto saw the tunnel light up as Red Inferno walked in with new arms, and legs for Red Tornado. She looks around the room to see the results of today's battle. "What precisely was I absent from, brother?" She asked her downed sibling.

He looks back up at her. "I believe the correct human terminology used in this scenario would be: 'One hell of a New Year's Eve party." He replies.

The Watchtower; January 01, 2011, 02:45 EST.

Naruto without his coat and shirt with a bandaged chest showing a red spot on them watched Robin, Aqualad, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Aquaman, Red Tornado, and Captain Marvel talk to Red about finding the real Roy Harper. Naruto dropped two large bags of chips before speaking. "I think each member should keep a small supply, just in case we encounter anyone acting strange, or think the Light would have a use for under their control."

Batman nodded before Robin brought up a large screen with pictures of Superman, Martian Manhunter, Batman, John Stewart, Wonder Woman, and Hawkwoman. "The League was under Savage's spell for just over a day. All but these six are accounted for. These six Members went missing for sixteen hours."

"Sixteen hours... What did we do?" Batman asked before Naruto spoke up.

"I hope it won't be something that'll come back to bite us in the ass."

Gotham; Naruto's Penthouse; January 2, 15:26 EST.

"Is Diana ever going to come out of her room?"

Jade asked Naruto who was lying on the couch as the other girls were in the kitchen. "She's... Still down about what Savage made her do." Naruto replied before a news report came up with a balding man in a suit.

"And the polls have been totaled. It's now official; Quincy Sharp will be our new Mayor."

Naruto sat up against his pillow and narrowed his eyes as Jade slowly walked out along with Talia, who stopped walking in as soon as the news came up. "Funny. I don't remember there being an election." Naruto said missing several Shadows, and female Shadows run across the building across the street.

Gotham; Naruto's Bedroom; January 10, 23:36 EST.

A Nude M'gann fell onto a sweaty Naruto and panted as her hair clung to her also sweaty forehead. "Do. All human mating... Rituals go this long... And be this. Pleasurable~?" She asked between pants.

"Nope, just mine. And trust me, my Lady of Mars, this was just the first of many... one of which might be starting-NOW!" Naruto replied before flipping them over so he was on top. M'gann giggled in surprise.

"No~ I need to res-Oh!" M'gann moaned out just as Naruto leaned down to muffle her cries with a passionate kiss.

She continued to talk with her mouth closed getting Naruto to stop. "Okay. If you're sure." Rolling off of her, M'gann sat up, and white lace panties materialized to cover her up. "M'gann. How do you hide the fact that your clothes don't come off when you have to go into the locker room at school?"

"I usually hide behind something. Why?"

Naruto shrugged before speaking. "Just wondering. I like to take an interest in your school life. Especially your time in the locker room. Tell me all about that.. Do you have soap fights?" She deadpanned as she walked to the bathroom that was joined to his bedroom.

As she stepped into the shower after starting it up, M'gann jumped slightly when she felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist. "Naruto! I thought you'd let me rest for a bit," she said. He smiled at her.

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean I can't show you a 'soapy preview'," he tells her as he takes the soap off the shelf.

"What's a soapy prev-ooooh!"

She trailed off as she felt him brush the soap against her skin, starting at the hip. As he began to build up a lather, spreading it throughout her body, Naruto brought his lips to the base of her neck, eliciting a shudder from M'gann.

One Hour Later.

Crystal was reading the newspaper, the front page showing Quincy Sharp's statement that his first act as Mayor will be the creation of his new supermax prison, simply titled; 'Arkham City.' Artemis looks over her shoulder to read the cover. "Yeah. That's gonna end up being a really, really, really stupid mistake," she said with a cynical tone.

"Amen to that, sister," Crystal says before they both looked up to see a rather blissful M'gann walk out in a bathrobe.

She sits at the table and lies her head down, wearing a content smile on her face. The two women look at her with a knowing look. Artemis sits beside her. "Let me guess, 'soapy preview'?" she asks.

M'gann could only respond with an elated sigh. Both Artemis and Crystal nod with a smirk. "That'll leave you tingling every time. And I do mean, 'EVERY time'." Crystal says with a slight blue blush on her cheeks.

Qurac; January 16, 16:16 UTC+2 (1.)

A thralled Marie was driving a red Ford truck with Queen Bee beside her. "Deadshot, of course, never misses. Sumaan Hajavti was always the true target. And now Sumaan is as much a hero to his people. As he's a Thrall to me. No, my dear. You're my revenge."

Marie glanced at her and spoke up. "But I'm not sure..."

"Well, let's see if we can fix that." Queen Bee grabbed a lock of Marie's hair and enthralled her before stopping the truck. Bee got out and backed up into something hard.

"I see you haven't learned."

Bee's eyes widened as she started to sweat. Turning around, she saw Naruto standing behind her as a clone knocked out Marie.

He grabbed her arm, and kanji appeared on it. "Now... You'll never be rid of me. There's nowhere you can go that I can't follow." He said as she tried, desperately, to wipe the kanji off. "Don't worry Bee.. I'll only use that the next time you go after my family. And Marie is family. You come after her, or her son again. And I promise I'll kill you."

He finished before throwing a canteen in the truck and put several gas cans on the bed. "Use the truck to get home. There's enough water, and gas to get there." He finished before flashing away with the clone. As Queen Bee stood there, dumbstruck, Kage suddenly flashed in front of her. "Oh, and, uh, one other thing," Naruto, once again, punches Queen Bee in the throat. Her hands grasp her neck as she falls to her knees wheezing and gasping for air. "Thought you could use a small reminder." he finishes by flashing away, once more.

He flashed inside Marie's house and had the clone walk to her room. He groaned as he put a hand on his stomach, and thought back to a few weeks ago.

(Flashback.)

The Watchtower; January 1, 03:00 EST.

Naruto stood from the table and heard a gasp. Turning around, he saw Wonder Woman standing behind him. "Naruto! What happened?!"

Naruto waved her off before speaking. "Savage surprised me when I was trying to free Superman."

She narrowed her eyes before speaking. "You're lying... Savage wouldn't get the drop on you. Besides. Kurama was helping you."

She turned around and walked to the surveillance room. "Diana wai-!" He stopped and grabbed the table as pain shot through him. Weakly following after, he saw Wonder Woman stand in front of a screen showing her attacking Wonder Girl, and Naruto taking a fatal shot. She turned around with tears in her eyes and walked past him. "Diana. Diana wait!"

He grabbed her arm and had her stop. "Never blame yourself for something you had no control over. You know I never will." He said before turning her around and wiped away the tears before pulling her into a kiss and had her hug him tightly.

(Flashback End.)

Naruto sighed before walking to the porch and sat beside Megan. "I think we'll need to bring Gar and Marie to the States. At least until Bee's gone." She looked at him, and he leaned toward her. "I'll tell you about it later." He whispered, kissing the top of her head.

They both smiled seeing Garfield play with his pet monkey.
