My Fated....

The Truth Spreader Club, is a club that spreads lies, mostly. They are the school verified news publisher, their newspaper are the same with outside media just it is more focused about what's happening in the school.

Now this club suddenly published a special edition paper which featured Kyle Dividad, the 'hottest' man currently in the campus.

Tons of people are already paying attention on that fly so it is easy to get them hooked with a shocking headline.

After the students read it things moved in much faster pace than I calculated. The school immidiately stopped the scandal and handle it themselves, and before the hounds of the outside world could sniff something they already expelled that fly.

The students who are fed up with mudane was excitedly talking about it whole day, not only the culprit but also the hero who solved the problem for his beloved in a brutal manner.

That already famous guy got more famous because of that which irked me a little, but after I saw his brows knitted together I was happy that I made this choice.

When that fly's pride shattered because of him it should have transformed into hate and indignance, he might be expelled but there is still much bigger world out there and he'll surely get back to that shit no matter what.

I sighed for his pettiness, I hope that shit's family business could withstood the attacks I don't want to see Lea wasting her money for that turd after all.

The other effect that happened after the scandal was the sudden school assembly. It was boring to listen to some old bald dude talking about relationship and sex awareness but in exchange the officials cancelled the rest of morning classes and let us take an early lunch break.

I'm still not hungry so I only bought a can of carbonated drink and one sandwich from the cafeteria, and instead of fighting for a seat among the crowd I walked towards the old building.

Now that I joined the club it's not bad to read some of the many scattered books in the clubroom so that I could know a bit how a detective works.

And I also realized that being able to do a bit of an investigators work could save me a lot of cash. Lea's life is bound to get more troublesome and I will probably have to sell my things in the future, so why not cut the cost and just work myself to the bone?

I am much better choice than those money oriented people after all.

Meeting my adversary I halted my steps, looking upwards I cursed this wealthy school for not building any elevator at all.

My legs ached when I reached the the fifth floor, I rested for a minute and was about to walk towards our clubroom but my peripheral vision caught on an interesting sight.

Among the always closed doors in this hallway one of them was somehow opened today. My feet led me to peek, beyond the door was a dim room due to the thick dark curtain that blocks the windows and the only light that shine upon the room is coming from the crystal globe sitting atop of black-covered desk.

The solemn atmosphere made the room mysterious it made me curious so I took another step inside. As I close to the desk I could see that there are a lot of other trinkets on it. A stack of cards placed face down, unlit candles and incense sticks, a leather bound book with a fountain pen next to it, and at the side was a pile of stones.

The desk is in between the two seats that faced each other, from the look and layout of the room I can guess that it has something to do with occult. What kind of club is this? My hand tried to reach for answer in that book.

"...My fated...guest."

A sudden whisper near my right ear made arm freeze. I stifly turned my head to the side and saw a girl of my age was looking at me with her mysterious purple eyes. The light from the globe is not enough to see her full visage, but I feel she is beautiful.

"Who?"

"Please take a seat."

She did not answered my question instead took the head seat then offered me the other. I was hooked in so I only hesitated for a second before I sit in front of her, now that I did I saw her face as soft light shine upon it.

I am bias of Lea's looks that I placed the angel in the second place, however to do the same thing to this mysterious woman is a thing punishable of crime.

"Is there something you want to ask?"

In her query I snapped out of her charm, but I was quickly lost on what to do. Seeing this woman in front of me I know I am right with my guess that this club had something to do with occult most likely fortune-telling and now she would tell my fortune, but I don't have anything to ask except...

"Then can you tell me, my sister's future?"

"Of course but can I see a picture of her first?"

Her soft lullaby voice and her beauty, I don't know why I didn't a single rumor about her when I could hear almost every single day about my sister. Well it matters not for now let's focus how will this lady make something up.

"Here."

"Does this photo have filter?"

"I know that my sister is beautiful that you would think so but she doesn't like filter so no."

"'No' is enough."

She looked at me weirdly but everyone does that when I tell the truth about Lea so I am kind of immune with it.

She turned her attention back on the phone and scrunitized it for a while before she passed it back to me, then we started a question and answer portion.

This fortuneteller opened her book as she write down my answers to her questions about the general information of Lea, like her name, age, and birthday. Thankfully she did not asked for address or I would think she fell in love with my sister and now she's squeezing me information so that she could stalk her.

After that segment she closed her book and set it aside, lit up a purple candle a color that Lea likes and put in front of me vertically align with the crystal globe.

Silence followed like the room I am in was seperated out of the world and was now alone in space. The purple lights vanished as she close her eyes, I saw her cherry lips move yet the silence continued.

Her eyes did not opened but her hands move threw unknown powder to the wick of the candle where the little fire dances. A hazy mist appeared around the two of us when the particles and ember met, I can't help but relax in these state.

"Close your eyes."

And I did, the little lights vanished and darkness swallowed me the only guide I have is her voice.

"Think about your sister, what kind of person she is, who she is to you, and what you want her to be."

Azalea Vonns, what kind of person she is? She was a bright girl, a playful kid, but now I...I don't know her sometimes I can see the trace of the past but then it will be immidiately covered by a murky fog.

Who is she to me? She is my other half, if she smiles I will, if she cries I tear. She protects me and I protect her, that is what we promised.

What I want her to be? I want her to be happy with someone she loves so I could pass my duty to him, or her.

"You can open your eyes now."

The voice pulled me back from my fantasy to the reality, I opened my eyes and met with her's.

"Your sister's future is one filled with happiness."

I thought she would add some flowery words here and there but with her going straight to the point it took me a couple of seconds to smile, I do not believe fortune-telling but it feels good knowing that my sister is going to be happy.

And like she waited for my lips to fully curved she suddenly added the other part of her reading.

"However before she could reach that happiness the path she will take is filled with challenges and dangers."

My smile froze. No matter if this is fake or not her words left me anxious but before I could ask for advice or something she already opened her mouth.

"Don't be too worried most of those challenges can be solved by you and your acquaintances, however the dangers are different."

There were no changes in my expression, just a few twitch maybe but inside I am screaming in surprise. How did this girl knew!? Are you something like legendary soothsayer? Of course I did not asked an unimportant questions like that.

"What are those dangers?"

"I can't tell you. Just remember that there are two of them and these dangers can threaten her life."

I did not push for answer as I knew from watching countless shows that tapping into future is a foolish thing. I'll just hope this mysterious lady in front me is fake, but I will still raise my caution just in case.

"Thank you Ms..."

"I forgot to tell you my name Aster, I am Eleina Wich but I will be happy if you just call me Eleina."

I looked at her smile and I smile back too, hopefully I did it right.

"So how much should I pay for your service Ms. Witch."

"Eleina."

"Ms. Witch."

"E.l.e.i.n.a."

I gave up teasing her as she shown me a freezing glare that I am perfectly familiar with. It made me realized that this lady is not an easy one.

"Then...Eleina how much?"

In my question she sweetly smiled, her lips are a bit wider than before, I prepared myself—no, my wallet for her next words.

"About that...just think it that you owe me a favor."

This is rather a familiar line. What kind of favor she would want, looking at her enigmatic eyes I could find no answer I'll just braced myself for a worse demand, well it's nothing new.

"Alright, I...promise that I will fulfill no matter what that favor will be, except if it will put me and my sister in danger."

"It was nice meeting you, my fated...acquaintance."
