Meeting Lilith 2

The conversation between Aiden and his father ended on a light note. Aiden bowed to the elder and was about to leave since he knew Kai would be waiting for him, but Mr. Clein refused him the permission.

"Surely you aren't going to leave me to finish the whole bottle, I'm sure he can wait." He said with a raised brow, and Aiden got the hint.

He had to sit through it and only left when they had finished the whole bottle, and he was a bit dizzy but not tipsy since he could hold his liquor quite well. Immediately he stepped out of the room, he met with the bodyguard who he had sent to get Kai. The bodyguard bowed upon seeing him and spoke up,

"The girl is in the parking lot." He informed, and Aiden hurried out of the building eagerly... he hadn't seen Kai throughout the day, and he missed him. When he got into the lot, he noticed the parked car and walked towards it,

"Sir." The bodyguard who was assigned to stay there and keep the boy in check greeted when the young master approached him.

"Where is he?" Aiden asked when he saw that the car was empty.

"He went to stroll by the beach." The bulky man replied.

When Aiden heard this, all possibilities of what Kai would do by the shore washed into his mind. Without wasting any more time, he hurried to the sea, hoping and praying that the boy hadn't gone back.

Panting and out of breath, he finally reached his destination, but what he saw didn't leave a pleasant feeling in him,

Yes, kai was still there on land, but he wasn't alone... someone held him in his embrace... a girl, a scowl appeared on his face,

"Lilith? What are you doing here?" Kai asked still in the girls' embrace,

"I came looking for you, no one knows I left—"

"What's going on here?" Aidens voice interrupted,

Immediately kai heard Aidens stern voice, he pushed Lilith away on impulse and stepped away from her which surprised the girl. She turned to the boy who had just appeared and she instantly recognised him, he was the one who caught Kai when he had jumped off the boat.

"Ah, Aiden, I was waiting for you ever since, what took you so long." The boy said nervously and when the former didn't reply to him... his anxiety grew, he felt as if he had been caught doing something inappropriate. Aidens golden brow eyes were narrowed and focused intently on the girl with deep purple shoulder-length hair, and it didn't take him long to figure out what she was.

"Come here." Aiden suddenly said, and Kai obediently came to his side. He then slipped his arm around his waist and gently pulled him closer. When the girl saw this, she shot the former a sharp glare.

"Kai? What are you doing?" She asked with a raised brow. He was the one who took him that night, so why was he being so obedient?

"Uhh... Aiden, that's Lilith... my friend, she came here because she was looking for me." He explained as he stared up at Aiden with a small smile trying to soothe the atmosphere. He figured that Aiden had already known the other was the same as him, so there was no need to lie.

"Wasn't he the one who kidnapped you?" Liliths sharp voice sliced through the air. She had a crease between her brows as she said this, openly showing her distaste for the black haired boy. Kai averted his gaze from her and fidgeted with his fingers as he tried to explain to his friend,

"He told me I could leave, but I chose to stay... I don't want to go back just yet, Lilith. "

"What? Why? He took you against your will! He caught you in a net for f*ck sake. Are you really gonna stay with the person who captured you? Get yourself together."

This was the problem she had with Kai... he always gave his trust away too easily once a person was able to break his walls. But still, how could he blindly follow this person?

Kai fell silent, and he bit his lower lip... having everything spelt out for him that way, he knew it sounded absurd, but he really didn't want to leave... he wanted to stay with Aiden.

Lilith saw that he was resolute with his decision and felt frustrated,

"Ugh! I can't deal with you right now... hopefully, your brothers don't find out you're staying with your captor."

Kais eyes widened upon hearing this,

"They're here?"

"What, you think they'd just leave you out here on your own?"

The girl sighed and pressed her index finger on her temples... getting angry won't get through to him, so she decided to approach the merman more carefully

"We are worried about you kai, your mother is worried... come back with me."

"I'm sorry, Lilith. I really do want to stay here. "

"Then come live with me... I got a job, I can take care of you until you feel like coming back."

"He's staying with me and he's not leaving." Aiden who had been silent all this while finally spoke up. He respected the fact that she was his friend and they were just reuniting but that suggestion was a big no... Kai wasn't going to go anywhere.

"I don't think that's a decision you have to make."

Aiden clenched his jaw... she was right but right now he didn't care,

"Wow your english is really good." He commented and the girl got the hint and gritted her teeth.

"Aiden..." kai placed a hand on his shoulder signalling him to not start an argument with her, now that the smaller boy had gotten his attention, Aiden turned to him

"You're not gonna leave right?"

When Aiden asked this, kai was silent which made his heart sting, he slumped his shoulder and rested his head on the mermans shoulders with a pitiful look on his face,

"Do you know how scared I was when the guard told me you came to the sea...I thought you left me... I don't want you to leave so please don't leave me, kai."

Seeing this petty effort of guilt stripping, Lilith rolled her eyes.

"Aiden my brothers are looking for me... they won't let you go if they ever found out you were the one who took me—"

Aiden sprang up and gripped the boys shoulder...

"Let them come! Let them come and I'll prove myself to them." He said desperately. Kai, seeing this felt terrible, he didn't want to leave but knowing his brothers, they'd probably kill him and he didn't want that.

"Aide-"

"Don't go Kai." He whispered and the merman gritted his teeth. He then rose his hand and gently caressed the others cheek,

"Okay... I won't leave. But I have a condition..."

"Anything."

"Lilith stays with us... if my brothers find me with you and see her there, they may go easy on you." Aiden paused... he didn't like the girl but if he didn't do it, Kai would leave him and stay with her. He didn't want his brothers to hurt him so at the end, he was doing it for his sake. If he wants him to stay, this was the least to do. Aiden sighed... he couldn't believe that he was the one pleading so much and being desperate and was also going to agree to such an absurd request from the boy... what was wrong with him?

Aiden stood up straight and glanced at the girl named Lilith, his eyes narrowed and so did hers as they stared back at each other, "If it's what Kai wants then let's go with it." He heard the boy beside him gasp from joy and flung his arms around his neck, pulling the taller one down to his height.

"Thank you, Aiden! I promise I'll make sure she doesn't do anything you don't like." There was a bright smile of his face, which meant he was thrilled, thrilled by something as small as this? He was probably just thrilled to have his close friend stay over.

Aiden ruffled his fluffy blonde hair when Kai finally pulled away from him, "Could you go wait in the car, I need to have a private talk with Lilith here if she is gonna stay with us, okay?" Aiden cooed.

The smile Kai had on his face faltered, but at the end, he still agreed to it and left them alone.

When the boy was gone, Aiden focused his attention on her and returned to his usual indifferent demeanour. Now that they were alone, Aiden was able to take in her appearance. Kai was taller than her but unlike Kai, she had more flesh on her which was distributed so evenly, her bosom and hips where in full glory and her skin looked somewhat tanned. Even though her hair was purple, it didn't look dyed but natural and matched with her dark blue eyes.

Guess the nature of mermaids was to be alluring.

Honestly, she totally looked like his type but he already had who he wanted.

"What the hell is your deal? You appear out of no where and try to convince him to go stay with you?"

"kai's just curious about everything that's why he wants to stay on land. When he gets his fill of his curiosity, I'm sure he'll return to the sea with me."

"I'm just gonna let this sink into your thick skull. Kai's mine so keep your claws to your self." Immediately he says this, the girl bursted into a soft chuckle as if she had just heard the funniest thing in the world,

"yours?! Oh, don't live in such a fantasy honey." She said and placed her hand over her mouth when she was done laughing. "Do you know anything about kai that you claim him to be yours?" she sashayed over to where he stood with a sly smirk on her thin lips.

"Well I'd be more than glad to tell you a little about him. First of all, KAI. IS. MINE. Not yours--"

"Don't push it Linda." Aiden threatened but she shrugged and continued, "its been that way since I remember, as you humans say, he's just going through a 'rebellious phase' right now but soon he'll come back to his senses."

The male scoffed and a small smirk appears on his face, "And what if he never comes back to his senses--?"

"Oh, he has to..." she interrupted... "you see, he's gonna have my babies when we get back and I'm not gonna have them with anyone else. He's still fertile in this form too but it's gonna be hard getting him pregnant." She said the last sentence mostly to herself.

Upon hearing this, Aidens face paled and he was short of words... what the fuck did she just say? Babies? Pregnant?! Kai could get pregnant even as a human?! Seeing his reaction, Lilith giggled,

"Seeing your reaction, I'm sure you didn't know. Well it's just one similar thing about mermaids and sirens... our males are the ones to be fertilised, and Kai here belongs to me so it's you who should keep your hands off." She took a step away from the stunned Aiden and offered him a smile.

"If we're gonna be living in the same house let's at least start on a nice note. Come on, Kai's waiting." With that she walked away, leaving Aiden to his thoughts.
