Well, this just got more interesting. I looked at the woman who had just shown up. She should be the Monarch of plagues.

As they are spiritual creatures and lack organic form, the Monarchs cannot descend into the human world without suitable human vessels, a property that they share with the Rulers. Unlike the Rulers, however, the Monarchs completely possess their vessels and essentially steal their vessels' bodies for themselves. Although this technique allows them to exert their full power in the human world, it comes at the cost of making them completely mortal, meaning that they will die if their human vessels are killed in battle.

'But why do I sense two souls in her body. Is it the original soul of the body that is still intact even after the body has been taken over?' I thought as I looked at her.

"This is interesting," I said while looking at her.

(I am Queresha the King of Insects, The Monarch of Plague. You are the one that killed that child. I am going to avenge him by torturing you.) she said while smiling.

'Well, no point in dragging this on.' I thought as I saw the frost monarch forming a white trident as I looked at him and smirked.

He attacked me while extending his trident towards me, aiming for my chest. I swung my katana downwards knocking the trident towards the right as I saw 4 gaint hands made of mana coming towards me. I dodged it and saw countless ant corpses coming towards me with centipede-like insects at the base of their necks and attacked me from all directions with the frost monarch attacking with a vertical slash with his trident.

'Burning Bones, Summer Sun (Hi no kokyū Shakkotsu En'yō)'

I unleased waves like circular slashes cutting all the corpses and knocking back the trident. As more corpses moved towards me I used my katana to cut them down in a way they can't be used again and during this time the frost monarch has healed himself and sent countless ice arrows towards me while trying to stab me with the ice trident,

CLANK* CLANK* CLANK* CLANK*

I dodged the ice arrows while using my katana to parry his attacks that aimed at my vitals. And then Queresha released her poison but it didn't work on me so she attacked me with more than 10 hands made of mana I imbued my katana with Busoshoku Haki and cut apart the hands made of mana.

(DAMN YOU.) she roared angrily as she attacked me with some more corpses. That wasn't effective and then the frost monarch came in front of me with two tridents in his hands and stabbed towards me with both of them multiple times and I used my katana to block all of those. Then he slashed at my legs and I jumped in the air ten he attacked me with the second trident and stabbed my after image as I was already behind his back in the air.

'Setting Sun Transformation(Hi no kokyū Shayō Tenshin)'

I aimed an upended slash towards his neck while I was upside down in the air aiming to kill him but he moved and his whole left hand including his shoulder was cut off.

I landed as I was about to continue. I saw him smirk. But a fast attack was aiming towards my back I side-stepped and….

BOOM*

As rocks were flying all over the place I saw the beast monarch standing there with a Black great sword in his hand. He lifted it and as came to attack me again with the greatsword towards my midriff. I jumped over the attack and twisted my body to avoid the attack. I landed then attacked the Beat monarch.

'Beneficent Radiance (Hi no kokyū Kiki Onkō)' I spiral around in the air leaving behind trails of dark red fire. As I cut the legs of the beast monarch with a powerful horizontal slash. And I went towards the Frost monarch who was healing himself. But when he saw me he attacked me with his remaining hand while sending ice golems and ice pillars.

I used sun breathing and went through them while cutting them to pieces. As I arrived in front of him cut his hand and legs.

(AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH) he screamed miserably as he fell on his face. He tried to raise his head but I stomped on his head sending it back down into the ground.

"(I would appreciate if you and assassin-Kun would stay down like the good dogs you are or it might not end well for you.)" I said as I walked towards the Monarch of Plague.

"(Yo, Can you hear me?)" I said while looking at her.

(Human How Dare Y-) she started shouting but I cut her off.

"(I am talking to you, I am talking to the owner of that body so shut up. You're annoying.)" I said I raised my Haoshoku Haki to suppress the soul of Monarch of plague and I saw clarity return to the former blood-thirsty face. She blinked as in confusion.

(A/N: this is just me creating a scenario so don't bombard me with this isn't in the novel or what was said in the novel was different.)

"(You are in control now. Who are you anyway? Your soul is still intact even after your body was possessed by a monarch.)" I asked as I wanted to know what her story was.

(Thank you very much for giving me back the control of my body. My name is Queresha Calistria. And I am not sure how to answer your question as I am not sure how I survived. As for your question I am or rather was the empress of the Calistria. Though I am sure you haven't heard of it before.) she asked at the end looking at me. Then seeing me nod she continued and said.

(It was in the world of Arcadia the world Monarchs destroyed before this one. And I was the Empress of the second biggest Empire there.) she said with sadness visible In her eyes.

'So they have destroyed a world before this one, that means there are more worlds out there that might have been destroyed.' I thought.

There were many things in the novel that weren't explained. Like the absolute beings' origin and his reasons, it was just the assumption from the fragments of brilliant light as the absolute being never confirmed nor denied their accusation, and when he was attacked he never resisted as it was stated that his dead body was on the throne with no signs of struggle or anything.

'This is getting complicated. why would he not retaliate and let them kill him when he was the one who created them.' I thought as I looked at her.

"(So what are you going to do now? I can give you your body back.)" I said to her and thought for a while then shook her head.

(….No, I should've died with my people and I don't have anything to live for. There is no meaning in me living.) she said while looking down. With sadness clear in her eyes.

Queresha POV.

He is a strong warrior stronger than any in my world. He was fighting 3 monarchs together with no difficulty. If there was someone like him in my world then my world would've...

I saw images of my empire as the only one from the royal family after the death of my father. He always thought me how to be a good leader for the people and I would work hard to learn the things he thought me. but whenever I would overwork myself.

'Did you forget my most important lesson? You should live for yourself sometimes and follow your heart.' He would say while patting my head.

I took over his place and ruled the empire at the age of 15. Despite the opposition from the ministers I ruled how my father taught me.

I cared for my people and did everything to make their lives easier so that they don't face dangers. After 4 years monsters started appearing in our world from portals and they came as well the monarchs.

Their power was something we could contend with and even after allying with the three empires we still failed to stop them as they killed their way inside the capital of my country with all the soldiers dead even the normal civilians took up weapons.

"Queen you should run we will hold them back."

"Yes, please at least you will survive till the reinforcement comes from the neighboring empire."

'Please leave this place to us.' There were a lot of my citizens saying to me to run away but.

"No, I would die either way I will die here in my home rather than someplace I don't know," I said with my firm voice. That Is my decision no matter what they said I didn't relent. I have made up my mind. No, I made up my mind from the day I wanted to become the emperor. And after that, we were attacked by a swarm of insects and while I was dying I heard.

I didn't understand what it said, but it wasn't anything good.

I lost consciousness after that and have come to know that I have become the calamity that destroyed my home.

And from then till now my only purpose was to stop this calamity from destroying another world, but I couldn't do anything other than keep my sanity.

I looked up and saw him patting my head with a smile that overlapped with my father as he said.

"I don't know how much pain you must've endured till now. And I won't say that I understand what you feel like. But what has happened can't be undone. If you don't have a reason to live then follow me and find a reason to live. Is that ok with you?" He looked at me.

And tears started to come out of my eyes as I nodded. How long has it been since I last cried maybe it was the time when my father was alive. And after that, I never cried. Not even once no matter how bad things got after that. And this is the first time I cried after that.

I can still feel him patting my head as it calmed me down then he turned around and said.

"(OHO, Assasin-Kun did you just try to run away.)" I heard him say that as I looked at the Man named The Beast Monarch.
