George Flack could feel it, but his heart no longer stirred.
What did it matter if he was misunderstood? After everything was cleared up, George didn't care in the slightest.
Aria Grant had been crying there for quite some time, a little tired from crying. Then, with swollen eyes, she asked George.
"Will you forgive me?"
With that said, what could George say?
"Silly, how could I not forgive you? I've always been worried that you wouldn't forgive me. I didn't even know how to explain. But now, it's all good, I don't have to worry anymore! That's great!"
It was indeed great. Hearing George say that, the burden of guilt in Aria's heart finally settled.
"Then tell me, who was it that kidnapped you!"
Thomas Yates wasn't standing far enough away, he heard what Aria said. What was she talking about at this time!
So Thomas quickly interrupted Aria.
"That's all in the past, let's not bring it up again."
