Chapter Two_ Your Safe Now

Two weeks later

I've been dating Peter for two weeks and I've really liked it tonight is the night of the full moon and I was spending the night with Peter.

I was running through the woods I was having the time of my life and I couldn't be more happier.

Four hours later

Me and Peter was in our wolf forms and was playing around in the water I heard a pained howl that's when I realised that it was my father's howl.

Peter Hale: Babe don't.

Lucy Taylor: I have to he's my father I have to help him and my baby brother I can't lose them they're the only family I have left.

We ran in the direction of my house we was in the back garden when I spotted my father being pinned down by hunters in the living room.

Kate Argent: Where are they where are your kids.

Adam Taylor: You'll have to kill me because I'll never tell you where my kids are you will never get your hands on them I can promise you that.

I watched as they shot my dad in the chest the hunters walked out the house.

I quickly ran in I held my dads head in my lap I knew he was dying.

Lucy Taylor: Dad can you hear me please say something.

Adam Taylor: Keep your baby brother safe Lucy your the only family that he has left.

Lucy Taylor: I will dad I promise where is he.

Adam Taylor: He's in a cave in the woods he's safe there Lucy please find him before they do.

Lucy Taylor; I will dad I promise no matter what I'll keep Jonah safe with my life.

Five minutes later

My dad died in my arms I howled at the top of my lungs.

Lucy Taylor: No dad please I can't do this alone.

Peter Hale: Babe you won't have to do this alone I'll help you with Jonah come on we have to find him before they do.

Lucy Taylor; I can't just leave he's my dad.

peter Hale: I've already called the police and the ambulance there coming for his body now come on let's go and find Jonah.

Lucy Taylor: Ok .

I looked at my fathers body.

Lucy Taylor: I love you dad I always will go and be with mom dad tell her me and Jonah said hello and that we miss her.

I stood up and I looked at Peter.

Lucy Taylor: You ready.

Peter Hale: Of course I'm ready babe come on let's go.

Lucy Taylor: Ok.

We ran out the house and into the woods I heightened my senses I could smell my brothers scent I followed it.

We come to a cave I heard my brothers cries I ran into the cave to see my little brother in his Moses basket wrapped up in a blanket I picked him up.

Lucy Taylor: Hush little one I'm here I'll never leave again I promise our dad loved us Jonah I know you'll miss him but he'll always be around I promise you that he never wanted to leave us Jonah but he didn't have choice he gave his life to save us I'm your soul guardian now Jonah I'll find us a place to live I promise.

Peter Hale: You can both move in with me Lucy I have a spare room for Jonah's nursery.

Lucy Taylir: I don't want to be a burden for you Peter.

Peter Hale: Hey your not a burden to me I'm not having my mate and her baby brother live on the streets you can move in with me your more than welcome to.

Peter Hale: Ok let's go to mine and we can move your things tomorrow into my apartment after you've been to school.

Lucy Taylor: I'm not going to school tomorrow I'll phone in the morning to say that I won't be in I have a reasonable excuse after all not to go to school.

I placed Jonah into his Moses basket Peter transformed into his wolf form he linked his mind with mine.

Peter Hale:(mind link) Babe climb onto my back we'll get back to mine faster that way.

Lucy Taylor: Ok.

I climbed onto his back and I held onto Jonah's Moses basket as he ran to his apartment.

When we got there I got off his back and I watched as he changed back into his human form he was fully clothed thank god.

We then walked into his apartment I looked around I still couldn't get enough of it I heard Jonah starting to cry.

Lucy Taylor: Babe will you go and make Jonah a bottle the stuff is in his diaper bag.

Peter Hale: Yeah of course I will honey.

He grabbed Jonah's diaper bag he then walked into the kitchen and made him a bottle he then walked back into the living room where I was with Jonah.

Lucy Taylor: Do you want to feed him Peter.

Peter Hale: Yeah I would love to.

He sat down by the side of me I placed Jonah into his arms and I watched as Peter fed and burped Jonah.

I must have fallen asleep on the couch.

Two hours later

I woke up to hear voices in the kitchen.

Derek Hale: Why do you care about her baby brother so much you should have let the baby die.

I got angry I ran at Derek I grabbed him round the throat and I slammed him against the wall.

Lucy Taylor: Don't your dare talk about my baby brother like that have no right I would never leave my family behind he's the only family I have left so if you don't want him then don't come near me Peter or Jonah again you got that.

Peter Hale: Derek she's right apologise now.

Derek Hale: I know I'm sorry Lucy I really am that was wrong of me I never should have said that.

I let go of his throat I pointed towards the front door.

Lucy Taylor: Just go Derek please just go I've had a long day and I just want to spend some time with Peter.

Derek Hale: Ok oh and in that box there is some stuff for Jonah that I bought on the way here.

Lucy Taylor: Thank you Derek you didn't have to.

Derek Hale: I wanted to you needed essentials for Jonah for the night till you can get your things tomorrow and I've told Scott and Stiles to tell your teachers what's happened and why your not at school.

Lucy Taylor: Thanks again Derek.

Derek Hale: No problem Lucy.

He walked out the apartment leaving me and Peter alone with Jonah.

Three hours later

Me and Peter was cuddled up in bed and we fell asleep in each other's arms not long after that.
