Chapter 28: Finalizing the Field of Further Study

The handbook that Sylvia handed me contained an introduction to the discipline of Alchemy.

There are a total of 20 disciplines in the school of Alchemy.

Nine of these are named after the products of Alchemy and are known as "Advanced Alchemy".

All seven disciplines of Starry Night Academy are included in this list.

The Ingenious Objects Discipline, Elemental Concretization Discipline, and Giant Creation Discipline, although branches of Strange Object Alchemy, each have a complete internal framework and a large body of knowledge, thus each is considered an independent discipline.

Weapon Alchemy, taught at the Federal Academy, is also included.

The remaining one is a branch of Biological Alchemy, called Biological Refining.

Its Alchemy product is a living creature, but the raw materials for Alchemy don't necessarily have to be living entities, so it falls under the disciplines named after Alchemy products.
