The Aftermath Of The Kiss

The feeling was electrifying, my first kiss since my regression.
Initially I held back, I still feared that she could pull back out of the kiss.
But when I tried to lean out of it, she grabbed my back and moved in closer.
It was clear she wanted it, time seemed to stop moving as our bodies pressed together.
Our hearts were pounding and I felt my body tense up.
My hands were on the chair the whole time, and hers were wrapped around my back.
'I should grab on to her' I thought but my hands seemed to freeze.
'What if she stops when I do, what if I make things weird, what if things end up being awkward between us after,' I had so many thoughts racing through my head.
But none of that mattered right now. Life was about taking risks, in business, even going out everyday was a risk, and I would be a risk taker.
I lifted my hands in the hair and wrapped them around her.
