Confronting The Beast
A bright light suddenly shone around my body.
All the pain I felt earlier was now a distant memory, and my entire body felt rejuvenated.
I crawled out of the hole and back to level ground, trying to get my bearings.

I closed the panel and examined my surroundings.
The first thing I needed to do was to get out of the chamber, and reunite with Olivia and Marcus.
But to do that, I needed to escape the monster.
'I can't outrun it, the only thing I can do is outsmart it and try to defeat it,' I thought to myself.
So I made up my mind to confront the monster, and began to devise a plan.
I paced forward and back trying to find out a plan, and I decided to try and assess my environment, to see if I could use the terrain to my advantage.
