Noticing how loud she was, Wu SuYi pursed her lips together tightly. She sighed, carefully looking behind her to find Rui. She was glad to see that he hadn't notice that she had shouted, much to her relieve. She didn't want him to feel scared by her action or to hear her shout as she knows how much of a loud voice could affect such a young child, especially when Rui already have enough pain through his childhood.
"I promise," came JingYi's voice after a while. It was clear that he was sincere with his words but she couldn't trust him at once. "I really won't," he added as if he knew she had doubted him.
She controlled her breaths while JingYi stayed silent, "So tell me. What was it that you want to say that you needed to come to my house?"
