Prologue

Waking up on a palace that is this bog and no one cares about me is a total disaster. As I continue to think about my horrible life I hear a knock on the large wood door to my gigantic room and then not caring about who was there and what I was wearing I said "come in" and my stepmother came in and greeted me slightly bowing,"good morning Your Highness how was your night I hope you slept well last night and I hope the bedbugs didn't get to you".'What is she up to now because I know she is never up to any good 'I thought inwardly,"your father asks you to come see him in the throne hall" she finally said and turned towards the door to leave and as she turned I just sighed and turned around to move to the bathroom where my maid was waiting for me and just then she turned her head slightly and said "don't dress too extreme " she said and smirked and as sue smirked a shiver went up my spine because I knew she and her daughters already had something up their sleeve I just sighed and went into the bathroom and as I entered the bathroom the room was steaming already due to the hot water that is already in the tub,I immediately slid down my robe myself(I don't allow my maids to undress me like other royals do because I don't usually feel comfortable and they also don't stay with me in the bathroom they stay outside only Chloe who my mother trusted me with when she was dying and she said something I still don't we to understand till today "please protect my daughter from the.... I was now ain the throne hall and I was wearing a v-necked leaf green gown and I wore a tiara decorated with flowers to complement my dress "good morning Your Highness" I curtsied and greeted my father "rise my daughter"he said and immediately I felt someone staring daggers at me and I turned my eyes to the side only to see my stepsister,Elena,and I turned to greet her knowing that I would only agitate her more .
