Teasing

Samantha turned around and reached for the metallic doorknob but she halted halfway.

She glanced at Alex over her shoulders and she saw him arch his eyebrows.

" Won't you wish me good luck?" Sam asked with a sarcastic voice and a naughty smile flashed on her face.

" Why would l?" Alexander tilted his head to the right and a smile plastered on his lips, unleashing his pearl white teeth.

Sam closed her eyes slightly and a sigh escaped her lips before it curved into a still smile.

She turned around slowly to face the devil who didn't care whether she was going to die or survive.

" l already knew it, Alexander," Sam said with a mockery voice. Alex's jaw clenched when he heard her words.

" l know how bad you want to see me dead." She nodded her head gently while the corner of her lips curved.

" I don't care whether you're going to die or not. All l want is to see the work well done."
